A great tour with a knowledgeable guide. We went for the history and art and not for religious purposes. The Vatican museum portion can feel lengthy until you get to the Sistine Chapel and Basilica. Sistine chapel seemed a bit rushed and would have liked more time to marvel at the art but overall great experience.

Our tour of Pompeii was guided by a credentialed archeologist. Following our time in Pompeii the winery was a great way to conclude the day before getting back on the train back to Rome. The best part about this experience was our guide Paulina. Paulina was extremely knowledgeable and was able to share her information in a way that kept us engaged. You could tell she loves what she does and gave us insights which we never would’ve known otherwise. Loved this tour. So interesting& our guides great & knowledgable . The only problem we had was hearing our guide when we were in our cars going & coming. There were 3 cars & if guide was in your car it was good but in the other 2 cars it kept cutting in & out with lots of static Missed about half of what she said which was a shame as she was so interesting to listen to. Even with that problem would still recommend you to go on this tour as the catacombs arevsomething you will not see anywhere else and the guide that took us through the catacombs was easy to hear so it was just on the commute back-and-forth that we had problems

Best tour guide !

Deborah was a spectacular tour guide . She clearly loves her job and everyone knows her in the Vatican. We jumped every line, she explained everything with detail, made sure all the group had the best photo shots and never felt rushed. We were with a 9 year old and she made her feel special too. All the info she gave us was super relevant and made us feel like we knew exactly what we were seeing. Best guide we’ve had I italy so far !

5 stars! This tour was perfect with kids!

We opted for the private tour because our kids are young (5.5 and 8), and they would not have done well with a large group tour. This tour ended up being perfect for them, but honestly I think my husband and I were the greatest beneficiaries. Our guide was wonderful, and the private tour allowed us ask questions and interact. We learned so much! The tour is a splurge, but we didn’t come to Rome to skimp- we wanted the best experience and we got it. Ask for Marchello if you can - he was absolutely excellent!
