- Strict Timed Entry and Late Arrival Policy: Entry to the Vatican Museums is strictly timed. Late arrivals may not be admitted and refunds will not be provided in such cases.
- Skip-the-Line Entry and Security Screening: You can skip the ticket line, but all visitors must pass through mandatory security checks. Please allow extra time, especially during peak hours or religious events.
- Dress Code for Vatican Entry: A strict dress code is enforced. Shoulders and knees must be covered. Sleeveless tops, shorts above the knee, miniskirts, and low-cut garments are not permitted. Entry may be denied for non-compliance.
- Prohibited Items at Entry: Weapons, glass items, sharp objects, food, and alcohol are not allowed inside any Vatican site for security reasons.
- Self-Guided Basilica Visit for Late Tours: For tours starting at 3:00 PM or later, the visit to St. Peter’s Basilica will be self-guided due to limited access hours for guided tours.
- Basilica and Sistine Chapel Closures and Access Restrictions: St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on Wednesday mornings (8 AM–12 PM), and on December 24 and 31. Access to the Basilica and the Sistine Chapel may also be restricted without notice due to religious ceremonies or events, such as Jubilee Masses or Sede Vacante (papal transition). In cases of closure, your guide will extend time inside the Vatican Museums. No refunds or partial reimbursements are issued.
- Baby strollers are not permitted inside, even if they are foldable. Please plan accordingly.

This tour was an excellent way to experience the Vatican, especially for first-time visitors. Everything was very well organized, and the skip-the-line access made the process smooth and stress-free. SKIP-THE-LINE is a MUST!
The Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica are absolutely incredible. The amount of art, history, and architecture is simply overwhelming in the best possible way. Honestly, you could spend multiple days in the Vatican and still not see or fully appreciate everything there is to take in.
As expected, it was very crowded, and the tour moves at a fairly quick pace in order to cover the highlights. Because of the crowds and noise, it could sometimes be difficult to hear the guide clearly through the audio device, but that is more a reflection of how busy the Vatican is than the tour itself.
Overall, everything went smoothly, and the experience was unforgettable. The Vatican is truly one of those places everyone should see at least once, and this tour provided a great introduction to an incredible property.

Skipping the line to get in was great. It takes a max of 10 minutes to get in through the tour guide entrance. Amber was our tour guide and she was great! Easy to understand and great knowledge about what we were seeing.
Only negative was trying to find the tour company meeting point. A gps coordinate would have been better. Instead you are provided with rough instructions on how to find the crown tour office. Make sure to arrive early as they state in the instructions. Better to arrive extra early and grab a pastry and coffee nearby :)

I had such a perfect tour.
The tour lasted 3 hours and it STILL wasn't enough time to see everything that's in The Vatican, you could spend days exploring the place.
Our guide Lia was marvelous, she knew everything about The Vatican and had nothing but interesting things to say about everything we saw.
Oh AND we saw The Pope.... that isn't guaranteed of course but we happened to see him during a service and I couldn't believe it. So I'd call that a successful visit to The Vatican.
This is a beautiful way to see The Vatican and was one of the highlights of my trip to Rome.

This was advertized to include St. Peter's Cathedral, yet the tour did not include it. It could only be added on for a fee ($35/person). Also I was only told that once we entered St. Peter's, we could not go back to the Sistene Chappel of the Vatican Museums.
The tour guide was very good and covered a lot of ground thoroughly yet expeditiously.

Our Vatican City tour was excellent and one of the highlights of our trip. It was incredibly informative, and we learned so much about the history, art, and significance of everything we saw. Our guide, Daniele V., was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great way of bringing the history to life while keeping the tour interesting from start to finish. It was a long walk and very hot, so be sure to bring plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes. Overall, I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Daniele V. as your guide.

Our tour guide was very kind and informative. She was good at making sure everyone stuck together and was keeping up, as it was a very fast paced tour with so much to see. She also let us know to keep up to ensure we didn’t miss out on St. Peter’s Basilica since we had a late afternoon tour and it would be closing soon. She was very detailed and efficient at her job!

Ludovica was amazing! Best tour we had during our 10 day trip around Italy. She was knowledgeable and friendly. This was a wonderful experience. If you’re going to see the Vatican, you must do it with a tour guide. So much more information in detail that you get from the visit. This was wonderful to get the rich history and context of everything that the Vatican has to offer. The ability to enter quickly and to see the Saint Peter‘s Basilica without having to wait in line was great as well. I would definitely do this again.

This tour was more expensive than the one I had originally booked which was cancelled 3 days before. The tour guide was very good, easy to understand her English. She had several ideas about religion that she shared freely. Good history of occurances throughout time.
