Great 2 hour tour of Pompeii! We were short on time so we scheduled a 2 hour private tour with entry at 13:00. Carmine was an excellent guide. He made sure we saw all the most important sites and provided in depth explanations as well. We never would have seen as much on our own. I highly recommend Carmine as a guide.

Wonderful

The tour was one of the best we experienced. It was extensive and Vincenzo was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. We went with the kids and it lasted 7 hrs and they were not bored at all. I would recommend carrying water and some snacks but they stopped off for lunch at a very nice mall. We would recommend this activity 100%.

Incredible tour

The English tour of Pompei was such a unique experience. Our tour guide was Rosanna, who was extremely welcoming, highly knowledgable, energetic and overall, an excellent tour guide. Pompei is massive, but she took us to some of the main (and very beautiful) spots, like the Domus Vettiorum, while providing us with intriguing facts about life in Pompei in 79 AD, pointing out little, hidden details and offering us tips on how to navigate Pompei after the end of the tour. The booking process was easy, as was finding the rest of the group outside the main entrance to the Scavi di Pompei. Thank you very much Askos and Rosanna for the incredible tour. Highly recommended!

The guide around Pompei was great.She showed us all kinds of interesting things about the ancient city.Learned a lot from her.The second part to the winery was even better.The wines were amazing along with the meat and cheese pairings and its all locally produced by them and the honey that the winery tour guide gave us that is made on property was amazing with the cheeses.They also ship worldwide and we bought 12 bottles of wine and a case of honey to give away.If you like to try new things or like really good wine BOOK THIS.

Great visit to Pompeii.

This was amazing. My 3rd time to Pompeii but first time to the Villa of mysteries. A long walk but worth it. We had an amazing guide who is an archeologist that actually works and excavates at Pompeii in the summer season so she was very knowledgeable. She was kind and informative and it made for a great time and great experience. Kids (13 an 17) loved it

I would say It was essential to have a guide. The site is vast, so having someone as knowledgeable as Vincenzzo show us the highlights of a fraction of it was invaluable. Without him we would have wandered around aimlessly, missed a lot of the best things and not had his insights and explanations which really brought the experience alive. Highly recommend, and very good value.

Highly recommended to get a taste of Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius, and Herculaneum!

Excellent tour with Antonio! He is friendly and a good driver. He was responsive about communication before the tour over Whatsapp. He clearly loves his job and knows a lot about the history and the sites. It was very helpful to have a curated experience of Pompeii as it is huge and he had lots of fun anecdotes. Herculaneum is much smaller but better preserved so was very cool to see both places and see the similarities and differences. Mt. Vesuvius was a nice hike at the end to get the full experience, but if you'd rather spend the time at Pompeii or Herculaneum, it's not a must-see. Antonio was flexible and adaptable to what we wanted to see and do and ensured we had sufficient breaks (and a yummy pizza lunch near Herculaneum!). Highly recommend his tour!

Pompeii and Amazing View from Vesuvius

Both of my guides were excellent for Pompeii and Vesuvius. They were knowledgeable and had great descriptions and explanations of the ruins and their society. Simona was our guide up to Vesuvius summit, she was wonderful and encouraging to those of us that struggled a little to make the climb. I did it! If I can do it almost anyone can. It was an amazing experience and view. I recommend this tour for sure!

Amazing and magical trip!

This experience is a once in a lifetime kind of one. We came in november, off season, and we were afraid that it would not be worth it or that it could not be safe to ride BUT it was the other way around. Places were not crowded at this time so we had all amalfi coast to ourselves. We had a magical trip throughout all the coast with excellent tour guides who rode the vespas in a way that we always felt safe and cared for. They gave so much interesting details through out our trip and stopped for pictures on AMAZING locations. Giovanni and Lucca were the absolute best!! Will cherish this trip forever, views are breath taking. You will feel like in a movie. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great Exoerience!!

This was a highlight of our trip! To get to see Pompeii with Sonia, was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and really helped us understand what we were looking at and how things were at the time before the ash fell. Lunch was delicious, and the wines kept flowing! Horseback riding through vineyards was a unique experience. The guides stayed with us and the horses were so well behaved (well, Claire tried to snack on grape leaves every chance she got!) and we felt comfortable the entire time. The views were exquisite!!

Had a great tour with Giovanni! I was worried because it was raining the morning of our tour, but Giovanni opted to push the tour back an hour to accommodate the weather and his confidence reassured me. That was a good decision on his part, and the tour turned out great! Weather was sunny and perfect! Giovanni led a great tour of the coast, and even booked me a beachfront table at a restaurant along the way! Would def recommend this company for anyone looking for a reliable boat captain with great communication, and just an awesome guide
