Truly an amazing experience. Our guide Antonino was very knowledgeable and approachable. He did a great job at making it fun but also ensuring that everyone is well informed about expectations. Remember two key words: Meeting Point/Meeting Time. Positano and Amalfi are beautiful and the boat ride to each places were a highlight of the tour. I will definitely recommend to people I know.

Coco was our tour guide and he was so personable, funny and made the tour a great experience. This tour is a very long day, but it is definitely worth the trip. Positano and Amalfi are breathtakingly beautiful. We had such an amazing day, Coco made sure everyone had a great time.
Coco (Cosimo) was such an amazing tour guide. Gave us interesting facts along the way and when a couple was left behind, he stayed behind to catch the ferry with them to make sure they get back on the bus. He continued with high spirits and he’s such a good person. Highly recommend.

This tour was amazing. We met our guide Errica at 7:45AM and returned 10:30/45pm. Errica was great, very knowledgeable and attentive. Positano and Sorrento are beautiful. The drive was long however the views made up for it. I highly recommend it.
Fantastic tour/day! This is a long day filled with beautiful sites! Heather (tour guide) and Francesco (driver) were an amazing duo! More time in Positano would’ve been great however traffic wasn’t on our side!

The activity itself was amazing but I had a bad experience with the payment. I was charged twice for this day trip and I tried to get a refund. Tried contacting Viator and City Wonders both a few times but no one took responsibility to resolve the issue. This wasn’t that complicated and should have been resolved easily as it was the company’s mistake not mine.

Fantastic day trip to Positano and Amalfi! The combination of comfortable coach travel and cruising along the coast made the day really enjoyable. The scenery was absolutely spectacular, and seeing Positano and Amalfi from both land and sea was a highlight.
It was a long day, but very well organised and definitely worth it. The coastal views, beautiful towns and relaxing boat rides made for a memorable experience. Highly recommended if you want to see the Amalfi Coast without having to worry about organising all the transport yourself!
It's a wonderful and full day! Our guide, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable and humorous. The boat ride was excellent and provided amazing views of the coast, Amalfi, and Positano. Robert also provided excellent restaurant recommendations.
This trip is not worth the money. You do not get very much time at all to spend at each of the locations due to the long bus ride to the top of the mountain only to ride down the very same route again. After you’re done with only one hour to see Sorrento and or Positano, you go back up the mountain the same ride again I need to come down again. The whole setup was ridiculous, not enjoyable. Also, the ad had indicated a multi coast trip, which I thought I had paid for only to find out once I boarded the bus that it was not included. The title of the trip. Says Amalfi. Day trip with a coastal cruise. You have to be so very careful to be sure that you choose the Cruise because that apparently was not included. I would like to ask for a refund at least a partial credit for the misleading ad.

There are multiple tour options available online, with different itineraries and inclusions. The coastal cruise is included only in the specific option labeled with the cruise, so guests must select that option when booking.

On a positive start; our guide Pari and Driver "The Titan"
Are kind and knowledgable
. Pari gives great attention to the details, history and care to the guests. The platform for this tour fell short. After departure I heard a guest speaking to Pari that they are on the wrong tour. I became aware that I also was not on the correct tour I booked for my Birthday on the 23rd.
It is very very misleading when booking this tour combined with a ferry tour of the coast. It was brought to my attention that I checked the box for the included boat tour, however below is a choice for an English speaking guide that I checked as well that changed my reservation.
When I showed my electronic ticket to board the bus, the caption is printed with the tour included AND the description of the booking shows check marks for the cruise portion. It's only if I had clicked on the actual booking that I would have known it was the wrong tour and I could have corrected it.
My disappointment was great since it was a birthday present for myself and the water portion is the only reason I booked the tour.
The second disappointment
was the short short time that we actually spent at the beach. There was a shuttle confusion that went from 1 hour 45 minutes of beach time to only 50 minutes to walk to the beach and hurry and walk back to the shuttle.
I had 20 minutes to get my feet yet in the sea with no time to swim, rush to drink one beer and walk back to the shuttle.
The Sorrento visit was very short as well. The recommended restaurant had a beautiful view, however the service was not good, very difficult to order and to be served. The dishes were not well prepared. The prices for the quality is poor. Everything appeared to be we were an inconvenience. Paying the bill was the easist part.
The bathroom break venue was quick but the bathrooms were not clean. The building is in disrepair inside and the staff was not enthused about serving another bus tour.
I'm a flight attendant with Delta Airlines. I understand about crowd fatigue. I also understand it's the service received that makes the difference.
The guide, the expertise of the driver and the guests on board were lovely. The bus was comfortable. I'm not sure about booking another tour
again soon. Mostly, I had envisioned a wonderful experience on the water with swimming available.

Our guide, Barrrrrbarrrra!, ( roll your r’s!), was excellent! Very informative, kind, funny & knowledgeable. She kept our large group together and on time at the necessary expense of getting everyone together at the meeting points earlier than needed.
We were disappointed by the limoncello tasting. It was just a guy standing out front of a shop giving out tiny free samples to everyone, including our group. You can find that at other places.
I would recommend skipping that as it wasted valuable time which was very short in each town.
The little headsets that they use at the Colosseum and other places would be very helpful. She had a microphone and speaker, but our group was so large and the places were crowded & noisy that it was hard to hear her; not her fault though.
If you want to spend more than 60 quality minutes in one of these places, pick Positano and just go there.
Skip the dozens of shops unless you like the touristy tchotchkes. Although if you like lemons, this is the place for you!
We do give it 5-stars; it was a very efficient way to see both places and the “whistle stops” at each place are necessary to keep it under a 15-hour day.

A Trip worth taking…… it was truly a fun day!
This excursion was incredible to see so many different things. We were incredibly blessed with Roberto as our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and made the entire experience comfortable and fun!
Our ticket said that we had the tour with the coastal cruise, however that did not happen. We were quite disappointed. The company tried to say that we didn’t choose that option, however our ticket clearly said “ Amalfi & Positano Day Trip from Rome with Amalfi & Positano Day Trip from Rome with Coastal Cruise”. We didn’t know there was another option, we just assumed we got what the ticket said. We only bring this up because we want people to be aware of this and not encounter the same disappointment that we did, as we were really looking forward to seeing the Amalfi coast from the ocean. Otherwise, our tour guide, Francesca, did a beautiful job!

Flavio was fantastic! He was energetic and funny. He was hard to hear through the microphone but what we could hear, he seemed knowledgeable. The destinations in the tour were great. Worth the experience- maybe only once. I’m not sure there’s much more to see unless we’re went exploring. We did the coastal cruise to Positano & Almafi coast because I can’t drive on the cliff roads) so we did miss out on going to Sorento. I only have this 4 stars, rather than 5, because the bus wasn’t equipped for a 6 hour round trip ride- no tray tables, no cup holders, no foot rests, no slings in the backs of the seats. It was fairly uncomfortable to have to be on it for that long with no measure of comfort. But that wasn’t Flavio’s fault- he was great!

A oneday expierence certainly worth the time and money. It seems long however the time goes so quickly even the bus ride. Joseph is absolutely amazing and ensures that people are at the meeting stops on time as well as sharing valuable suggestions on spots to visit in Rome. Doing this trip on your own will certainly require a lot of driving as well as insites of getting to both Amalfi and Positano in one day. Highly recommended
Fantastic day trip with a boat cruise that completely exceeded our expectations. I was on the fence about spending a full day for this activity but it was absolutely worth it and our guide Marius made the entire experience easy and super fun.

The water cruise was canceled so the excursion consisted of long hours on the bus with the persons in front of us pushing their seats on our knees. The guide suggested a very good restaurant which became the highlight of the trip.

The ferry ride from Sorrento to Positano is picturesque. Ferry's were on time. It was extremely hot and there were huge crowds everywhere
If you’re in Rome and debating whether this day trip is worth it, just book it! I was initially on the fence because it’s a very long day, but I’m so glad I went. We departed Rome at 8:00 AM and didn’t return until around 10:30 PM, so definitely be prepared for a full-day experience. That said, it was wonderful to get out of Rome and see a completely different part of Italy, and I loved having City Wonders handle all of the transportation and logistics.
Our guide, Patrizia, was amazing. She gave us the information we needed but also let us explore Positano and Sorrento on our own. She was organized, attentive and made sure no one was left behind. Our driver, Roberto, was excellent and navigated the winding roads like a pro!
Both places were beautiful, with incredible scenery and great shops. I also loved the limoncello tasting.
My biggest recommendation is to pack snacks and water. I got pretty hungry, and there weren’t many appetizing options at the rest stops.
It’s a long day, but absolutely worth it. I would definitely recommend this tour!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide Chaira on our full day journey & cruising from Rome to Salerno, Positano, Amalfi & back.
From the very begining, our guide was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly attentive to our needs. Despite covering so much in one day, everything was veey well organised and we never felt rushed. Positano & Amalfi were absolutely beautiful and having a knkwledgeable guide made the experience even more special. Chaira gave us great recommendations. What really stood out was the personal attention and genuine care throughout the entire day.
It was a long day but thanks to her it was also one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We highly recommend this tour and especially our guide.
It was a long day but worth it! The Amalfi Coast and Positano are absolutely beautiful especially by boat. Flavio our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful with us tourists.
When we got there our tour Had been chanced to positano Sorento day trip which is a waste of time, 13 hrs on bus to spend 1hr 45 min in each location. You get a 15min stop a a horrible rest stop and a 20 minute tour at a lemon cello place then they drive you 50min up mountain to switch to small bus to drive back down to positano. Then 50min back up Ridiculous waste of time. I was so disappointed and bored on this trip. 3 other parties with us had book the same trip that included boat trip everyone was very disappointed . Tour company were no help
