Excellent Start to Rome Experience - With Sharon.

Took this tour on our first day to get a feel for the area. Sharon could not have been a better tour guide. She knew all the ins / outs and good spots. Took us to the all the liated sites and even stopped for some Gelato at one of the great spots. She took the time to answer questions and gave us some pointers for places to check out after the tour. Take this tour...day 1 and it will setup your visit nicely.

Fun tour of food district

Our tour began at noon. There was lots of food and drink so factor that into your dinner plans. Our guide, Monika, was so great and enthusiastic. Made the whole experience very fun.

(Slightly) Off the well worn path in Rome

I specifically picked the tour to explore the streets of Rome, avoiding most of the tourist sights I'd seen before. It worked really well. Sharon was a great tour guide. She really knows Rome like the back of her hand. Her voice carries well, so we had no problem hearing her. She has a good sense of humor and the tour information she provided was interesting and informative. We loved the anecdotes very much (e.g. why is a Margherita pizza so named?). Recommend highly
