We had a great experience with our Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel tour. Everything was well organized, and the biggest benefit was being able to skip the extremely long entry line, which saved us a lot of time and made the experience much more enjoyable.
One helpful tip for future visitors: if your tour is scheduled for 8:00 AM, don’t arrive too early to the ticket redemption point. The Bigbus location doesn’t open until 7:30 AM, so you’ll just end up waiting outside if you get there before then.
Overall, everything went smoothly, and I’d definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking for an easy and efficient way to visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.

There are an absurd number of steps up and down. It is very bad for people who have trouble with stairs. Also a very difficult thing to do if you have another date on the same day.

What you buy here for the Vatican museum needs to be exchanged for real tickets at the stated location. Really easy! The path through the Vatican Museum to get to the Sistine Chapel is quite long… but it was great.

The Vatican was very nice but booking here was awful. We could not find where to meet the gentleman and he was extremely rude and demanding just expecting us to know where to go when the address took us elsewhere. Not to mention he was making us run and saying if you miss it you will not get your ticket. On the ticket the printed out it said the price was 28 euro and we paid well over that and got scammed. I’ve always booked with this app but after this experience I will be trying to look elsewhere every time because oh how me and my girlfriend were treated and scammed

Great to learn about the history and architecture.
Get to the meeting place early. Our visit time changed so be prepared to be flexible.
Our guide Angela was fantastic. Exceptionably knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She made us feel welcome and answered any questions we had.

Taxi driver got us to the office pretty easily. Very fast transaction. The ticket supplier walked us around the corner and pointed to the entrance and explained how to gain entrance and skip the queues. We didn’t wait in any lines and walked right into the lobby. Had to get our tickets from a ticket booth, but there wasn’t any issue (our tickets were for a French speaking guided tour, which we don’t speak French) since we were going to do a self-guided tour.
The museum is easy to navigate and they flow you through the entire museum and ultimately into the Sistine Chapel. Parts of the museum were extremely hot, other parts were air conditioned.
Ticket prices were higher than what you would have paid at Museum by itself, but the guidance did make it easy for us to get in.
I didn’t like the fact the tickets were non-refundable as things happen from between when you buy and the date of the event, but it worked out that everything went smoothly.

Once you get in there, there is no way out. 2.5 to 3 hours long. Also understand our guide was impossible. Felt it was totally not worth it. Wish I could get my money back . It was very hot, no where to stop and get more water.

They charged €105 per ticket per person. When we received the tickets from them at the meeting the cost on the ticket was €28.00. No audio included even though it is included on the ticket. Audio cost an extra €8.00 per head., They get you to meet 30 minutes before, the meeting location Big Bus dirty. Messaging to hurry all the time.. when I questioned the price they said it was taxes.. company is a sham.

Worth doing but beware the meeting point is not accurate and it cost me 20 euros to get to it in a mad rush with my gf a stroller with an infant. Luckily we were really early. They did not answer my calls when I was waiting. Tour company was slow to respond and not very helpful to when messaged. More effort on thier part woulda been nice. In one part of the app the tour meeting point is at the Vatican address, then when you click further into it, it changes the location to meet. When I told them about the problem and the confusion it caused they seemed like they weren’t going to fix the issue. The woman couldn’t care less.

Super simple! Ticket pickup directions were great, easy to find the place. They showed us exactly where to go and how to get in line. The voucher let's you get inside, and then inside you pick up your actual tickets. Just FYI, the tour is long! Even self-guided, be prepared to spend a couple of hours because the museum is one-way and you have to go almost thru all of it to get to the Sistine Chapel. And it's hot in summer, so be prepared with a hand fan or battery fan. Beautiful tho!

We were told to show up 20 minutes before our 5:00 tour .. then tour started at 5:40 minutes later .. did not enjoy waiting one hour to wait .. we paid for skip the line.. we had to wait on line.. our tour guide had limited English skills .. very hard to understand.. would not recommend

The tickets we were given were for a French speaking guided tour. This was not communicated at the time of booking as we are from the states. We had to settle for taking the tickets only and self guide. After this experience it was clear it was best to book directly with the Vatican Museum and avoid paying more than double the price.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!
We were rushed from the start. Had a 5:00pm tour set, and started receiving calls hours prior basically demanding us to get there early. Once we did, they printed our papers, walked us outside, and said “hurry, you only have about 5 minutes to get in” after we arrived 30 minutes EARLY for them. They also gave us mixed information regarding dress code which made it even more frustrating. A complaint was made with Viator, which as of now, they have done absolutely nothing to help me with this horrible experience. In fact, this business lied and told them we never even showed up to the tour, so any type of refund is forfeited. They said that after we showed up early for them. Buyer beware - if you want a good experience, DO NOT go here.

I could not understand the translator Ana for speaking English in our group, also she would not hurry up the flag to to let know the group where she is at or walking to walk location I ended up getting lost for an hour because she was not giving us the direction of where going to either turn left or turn right of a straight. And when I finally found her after one hour, I went up to the group where are some of the people who was in that Tour group and I told Ana hey we found you. We got lost what happened to you guys? I told her that she kept saying to me that they tried to call me as you know I have a United States. I’m here in Italy so the phone call did not go through and also she told me very rudely matter wow I found you. I replied back to her. No, I found you. You mean to say that why did you guys not waited a look for us? Why you continue going ahead she then told me that we rude. I end up keeping quiet. I did not want to reply to her comment. Long, I feel that the poor guy would’ve kept her pointer up with the banner of the Guy Tour I would probably have seen her better but she did not and she couldn’t stop and got everybody together before going to which direction we’re heading to and counting people as we return to a different directions to be sure we’re accountably I got to lose a lot of good part of the Tour that I paid for some tour guide who who has more knowledge of the site I paid for.

The whole booking process was very easy and straightforward and the company we booked with were extremely helpful and flexible when we arrived a little later than our entrance time.
The skip the line tickets are well worth it, as the queues were incredibly long for those who had not pre booked and with very hot weather standing outside for a long time would have been very difficult.
Allow yourself at least 3 hours to walk around the museums.

If you don’t mind to spend extra money to avoid long and I mean long lines it is worth to reserve “skip the line” . The company sent us the tickets in a timer manner . Our appointment was at 8:00 am and we arrive 15 minutes before and there were already around 100 people in front of us. Once you get into the museums, choose wisely what are you really want to see . It is a busy place.

I was very pleased with our experience. The tickets were available last minute, and we were worried that we would not find any. We were given explicit instructions on where to go when we got to the Vatican. We were greeted and personally escorted to where we needed to be in order to enter, and the directions were very clear. I would still plan to be there an hour early before your entry time. There is a line to be in for timed entry, and you will be more towards the front of that line if you get there early. Pay attention to which passageway your ticket says (1, 2, or 3) and stay in that designated line.

Not a good experience. Couldn’t find the person to meet us. Went to the office. They gave us the wrong tickets. Never got to the Basilica and had to pay again for audio when we suppose to have a guide. Will not recommend.
