Making new friends and drinking lots of wine!!!

What a fun night! Ana our cooking instructor was fun and helpful. She taught us the basics of making pasta and ravioli. The wine flowed freely during the class. And we made new friends. There were a total of nine people in our small group and that was perfect.

Fun and filling walking food tour.

Frederica (sp?) was outstanding. The stops we made we're wonderful and provided a wide variety sampling of Rome eats. The treks between the stops was filled with her extensive experiences of living in Rome her whole life and not just about the food. By the end of the night we were all completely stuffed (and a little tipsy)! Well done!

Delicious, but wish we did earlier in trip

Marta was fabulous - she was our guide for the tour! We had a chance to experience a lot of great food - from trying beef tongue (don’t worry, you don’t have to pick that option), to 30 year aged balsamic vinegar (might me my favorite thing I’ve ever had), to delicious handmade pasta and delightful homemade ice cream. I think of doing our trip again, I’d have tried to do it earlier so I had some ideas of how I want to navigate all the food options in room

This was an excellent tour. Leila was so knowledgeable about the food and wine. She was an absolute pleasure. Plenty of delicious food. Several very good wines both red and white. The walk through the neighborhood was perfect. We thought it was a perfect way to get to know the local cuisine. It was a highlight of our trip. The amount of food and wine made this a great value. Great food and amazing host!

Daniel (I hope I spelled your name right!) was an AMAZING host. Very knowledgeable, energetic, funny, and a great guy! We had a marvelous time. The pizza was delicious, the suppli I could kill for someday, gelato fantastic, but my favorite food was the fried artichoke! Delicioso!! Thank you so much Daniel! The history was amazing as well. I admit I shed a couple tears in the Jewish district. Daniel is the greatest tour guide of all time. I know you want to live in Rome forever, but someday, may you also live in Power! Potenza Calico!!

Highly recommend this food tour

This was one of our favorite tours. It was so nice to see another area of Rome. The food was delicious and the tour guide Gio was fabulous. Loved her enthusiasm. The variety of food was nice and the famous gelato at the end was the perfect ending to our evening. We all left very full!

Most memorable night of the trip

This experience far exceeded our expectations. It was a very personal experience as we were put in groups of 5-6 with all the wine we wanted, and samples of local cheese and sauces with no pressure to buy. Our table of 5 came in 3 pairs and a single, ages 79 to 27, but really felt like family by the end of the night. Can't recommend highly enough!!!!

Fun Evening

We sent a message to the provider/host and they were terrific. They allowed us to change to a different time for $30 euros (which we felt was still fair). We made it to the venue and realized there were only two couples in the class (including us). The other duo was late so we basically had a private class for 20 minutes or so, but when the other people showed up late, the staff accommodated for them too. We had a blast, the food was great, and Marco was an excellent host and teacher. We would absolutely recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun experience on their first visit to Rome.

The Rome Food Walking Tour with Wine in Trastevere was a great start to our trip to Rome! Adib was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city's food culture and history. We explored the charming streets of Trastevere while tasting delicious local specialties and amazing gelato. The wine and beer selections were excellent and perfectly paired with the food tastings. I especially loved learning about the traditions behind each dish and discovering hidden gems that I would not have easily found on my own. The pace of the tour was relaxed, and the group size made the experience feel personal and enjoyable. We had a great group and made fast friends. If you're looking for a fun way to experience Rome's culinary scene while exploring one of its most beautiful neighborhoods, I highly recommend this tour, you won't leave disappointed!
