Cooking Class Champions

Great time cooking, eating and drinking. We are Americans, and we made friends with people from Denmark, Switzerland, and Scotland. Everyone had a great time and we all shared the food that we cooked. Even though the Scottish brought in a ringer, he was a chef, I feel like we won the cooking competition! I would highly recommend it and it has been the best part of our trip to date.

Amazing dinner!

What fun! Mattia, our chef, was patient, kind, & funny! He helped our six-year-old daughter throughout the entire experience and she was so proud of her pasta creation! The sauces they paired with each pasta were delicious & so was the complimentary glass of wine & Limoncelo! Highly recommend!

Get a PIZZA this fun experience in Rome!

I travel for work, and for my third time visiting Rome, I was looking for something a little more interactive to do than just another history tour. I was originally supposed to be a part of the 3:30 Pizza/Tiramisu class, but had to switch to the 6:30 where I luckily met a great group of people to share the night with as a solo traveler. Our instructor was Valleria. She was a wonderful teacher who balanced showing us the steps with allowing us to get out hands messy--literally! She had great knowledge of our class and could expand on Italian cuisine and culture as a whole. She took care of all of us from greeting to goodbye. Her sparkling wit (and the wonderful meal at the end, of course) make the night truly unforgettable. Would highly recommend sharing a evening with her making delicious pizza and tiramisu! I personally would like to take the gelato class the next time I come back to Rome, but I feel this is a class everyone should experience no matter how many time they're able visit the city.

Great experience

Our guide Dominique made the experience so great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. She created a great atmosphere. The family owned deli was a particular treat to taste from and hear about. I went as a solo but e drying on the tour made me feel welcome and comfortable. Great if you are wanting to see the area and try local dishes.

Vincenzo was great, and all of the stops on the tour were amazing. On top of the food and wine, we were able to learn so much about the culture and history behind the food, making the experience so enriching. He even gave us more recommendations at the end of the tour to help us throughout the rest of our trip.

Great Experience

The guide was fabulous and waited for two people who were over 20 minutes late so they could join. She shared so much history and the food was wonderful! We were so full at the end and it was a great experience to hear from an expert about what we were eating and why. On reviews I read, people complained about the artichokes, but we loved them. All the food was simple and delicious.

Do this tour!!

We stopped at four locations and I thought at the beginning I was gonna need to get dinner after. Boy was I wrong. And the free flowing wine is an understatement. Organic wines though. No headache despite most of us getting tipsy. I traveled solo. That didn’t matter. We all got to chatting. 8 of us. And we had a wonderful time. Our guide was great, too!! Knowledgeable, funny and tried to keep pouring the wine!! I’d suggest this tour to anyone who would like to get a true sense of various types of Italian food. Street eats, pasta, truffles. Included it all and ended with gelato!

Enjoyable food tour with Hidden Gems

Julia was was incredibly engaged and passionate about her city. Not only did we sample typical street foods, but she added so much context to every day Roman life. She was also very keen on sharing “hidden gems” with the group. We can highly recommend this tour. It’s a wonderful way to experience some of the neighborhoods in Rome and enjoy some culinary delights at the same time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I booked a private food tour through Campo de’ Fiori, the Jewish Ghetto, and Trastevere during our honeymoon, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Isabella, was absolutely amazing. Having a private tour made the experience even more special because we were able to ask questions, move at a comfortable pace, and enjoy genuine conversations throughout the evening. Isabella was incredibly knowledgeable about Rome’s history, culture, and food traditions, and she made every stop feel personal and memorable. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We enjoyed authentic Roman specialties, incredible pasta, delicious fried street foods, and some of the best gelato we’ve ever had. Every stop was thoughtfully selected, and Isabella explained the history and significance behind each dish, making the experience so much more than just a food tour. Walking through Campo de’ Fiori, the Jewish Ghetto, and Trastevere while learning about the city’s history and culinary traditions was unforgettable. We left full, happy, and with a much deeper appreciation for Rome and its incredible food culture. If you’re visiting Rome, I cannot recommend this experience enough. Great tour!

Monika was amazing and was very knowledgeable on the history of the area and the food. She had references for all ages to relate to and made it such a fun experience. She made sure we were all fed and was cautious of any allergies. The places we stopped at were all amazing and unlikely to be found without the tour. Would definitely recommend!

Worth your time! Totally loved this tour!

My adult son and I went on this tour with Luca. The tour started out with the most delicious sweet treats in a bakery that had no name on the outside. It was a family run business. I pinned the location to go back later and take home some treats for my grandkids! There were 6 stops with savory food in the middle and gelato at the end. We were definitely full by the end of the tour! Luca did an excellent job talking about specifics of each food that we tried. My group had 4 people total. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend this tour!!
