This was our first tour in Rome, and Haitham was the perfect guide! We learned so much about Roman history as well as the particular history and architecture of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Forum. We would highly recommend Haitham and this particular tour.

They need to invest in wind proof microphone. Very difficult to hear with the wind blowing. A couple showed up with 3 people who didn’t pay and our group was delayed waiting for them at times.

This was a fabulous tour, but it was a very hot and humid day. There are many more steps than we expected. Some people left in the middle of the tour, but we finished it out. The tour guide was very informative and tried to give talks in the shade when possible. Highly recommend.

The tour of the Colosseum was incredibly good and seeing into the past,over 2000 years ago. Our tour guide Salvatore was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and very patient with a very large group. We enjoyed spending our afternoon with him and learning so much about the history of the Colosseum. I would highly recommend Salvatore to anyone looking for a tour guide.

It was a very hot day but our tour guide did an amazing job finding us shade and not walking too fast. He was very knowledgeable and kept all of our attention the whole time.

Sofia was our guide. She did an outstanding job of providing just the right amount of detail for the many amazing sites. She was very knowledgeable about ancient Roman history as well as the historical places we visited.
We wished we could have made this tour our first stop in Rome as we had a perfect view of the city during the tour. Sofia made sure to point out many buildings around the city that we could see from the overlook. She also pointed out items and details that would connect with Vatican tours.
She also made sure that everyone was ok during the tour as it was exceptionally hot.
Sofia was a wonderful guide. We learned so much from the trip and Sofia. We would highly recommend this trip!

Great ancient and contemporary history of Rome and the Colosseum that ties together archaeology, military history, ancient home building, civil engineering and the dual track evolution of Romans pagan culture to Christianity and the Colosseum from an ancient sports stadium for violent spectacles to a museum. Also touches on how archaeology had a role in the the formation of the modern Italian State after the fall or Napoleon.

Challenging walk for an senior in this extreme heat otherwise it could be ok, you must carry cold water you will need it

Like walking back in time! Hisam (the Egyptian) guide was so great!!! He really brought you back to the gladiator times with his vivid descriptions and had such a deep knowledge of the ruins. The scope of the ruins and collesium was unreal. It was so special to be able to walk through and envision all the history of that area and Hisam was the best guide to spend the morning with!

Our Coliseum tour was a great experience! Our tour guide was Hisam who was very informative and easy to understand. He took an appropriate amount of time at each stop to explain things and give us time on our own to take it all in. Would recommend!

While I appreciate the guide’s knowledge and effort to explain the history of Rome, the amount of historical information was excessive and felt more like a full lecture than a guided tour.
This was particularly difficult because we were walking and standing outside in the extreme heat. Spending such a long time listening to detailed historical explanations in those conditions made the experience physically uncomfortable and took away from our enjoyment of the tour.
I think the tour would be much better with shorter, more focused explanations, with more time for walking, seeing the sights, taking photos, and resting in the shade. The guide clearly had a lot of knowledge, but the information could have been presented in a more balanced and enjoyable way

Great guide - Andrje was very knowledgeable and great sense of humour.
Waited at meetup point for everyine to arrive - it was very hot - would have been good to be under some shade.
Would be nice if tour operator gave us each a bottle of water - nice touch in this hot weather.

Lorenzo was my tour guide and he kept us well informed about the colosseum , palatine hill, and Roman forum. The heat was brutal so he kept us in shade when it was possible . I did the semi private tour where it was only 6 of us and it’s so much better than being in a huge crowd because you can ask the guide questions and it feels more personable. It was sooo cool being on the area floor inside the colosseum definitely worth it . There is water fountains around to fill your water bottle also .

Disappointing tour, disrupted by a big group joining 1 hr after the actual tour started with headset problems, tour guide had no idea how to fix it and we wasted 15 mins due to that. Tour guide kept repeating part of the history to the point that my son lost interest. Misleading tour as it does not include guided tour of the Roman forum. They leave you at the top and you need to proceed on your own.

Haitham was very knowledgeable - I enjoyed learning from him about the history of the Colosseum and the Forum. It was a fairly long tour on a hot summer afternoon, and he was very patient to provide sufficient time for photos and breaks as needed.
