Fabio was an amazing tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgable and well prepared! The tour was the perfect length and Fabio gave us enough time to take in the views and enjoy ourselves. The only con was that it was unbearably hot, but that is outside everyone's control.

Paid double what youI'd pay at the door for a full experience ticket for a guided tour and there was no guide.. an audio guide is emailed to you and you gather and someone walks the group to the ticket station and says enjoy and leaves the group. It's an audio only tour which I don't know how it knows when to explain what you're looking at. So be aware. It's no better than paying €25 at the entry for the full expressive.. I paid $124 for 2 people.. waste of money

If your confirmation voucher instructed you to download an audio guide app before your visit, this would indicate that the audio-guided option was selected at the time of booking.
The title of the experience, its description, and the inclusions are clearly outlined during the booking process to distinguish between our self-guided audio tours and our guided tours with a professional guide. Our guided tours are led by licensed guides, typically last between 2 and 3 hours, and are priced accordingly to reflect the live guiding service.
The audio-guided option includes escorted entry to the attraction, after which guests explore independently using the audio guide at their own pace. This experience is designed for visitors who prefer flexibility rather than following a guide through a fixed itinerary.

We were very lucky to have Lorenzo as our guide! He created an experience where we could appreciate and learn about the history of the colosseum and Roman forum. Warm, patient and friendly, he provided detailed descriptions that let us take in the beauty despite the large crowds.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. The tour itself is a much harder walk if you aren’t in shape or have medical issues. Our guide went very fast which is probably needed to get in the coliseum at the appropriate time, but was almost too difficult for my husband who has had cancer. Of course, it was also a super hot day.

Absolutely fantastic 3hour experience! Nicola was very knowledgeable & entertaining. This was my 2nd tour booked with this company and Im so glad I did both of them. Without these wonderful guides, you wouldn't gain even a tenth of the information about the sites. Going with a guide also means you skip all the lines and cause they know the routes to navigate around the places, you save so much time in that regard too!

The meeting point is very vague and apparently even though we were there 30+ minutes ahead of our scheduled time we missed the tour. I have been informed that it was our problem and we won't be receiving a refund.

We would like to clarify that the meeting point location, detailed directions, and our direct contact information—including phone, WhatsApp, and live chat support—are all provided on the confirmation voucher. We also ask guests to arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour start time and encourage anyone having difficulty locating our staff to contact us before the tour begins so that we can assist.
Unfortunately, due to the venue's strict timed-entry system, once the scheduled entry time has passed, the tickets become invalid and we are unable to delay the tour without impacting the other guests who have arrived on time. For this reason, we are unable to accommodate late arrivals or offer refunds for missed tours.
Where availability permits, we do offer guests the option to reschedule their tour for a rebooking fee, which helps cover the cost of the original non-refundable tickets.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that your experience was not the one you had hoped for.

This tour is really fascinating! Paola was great, offered tons of insight while keeping the pace nice and brisk. It was 95F on our tour day and Paola ensured we stayed hydrated with water breaks, etc. We really appreciated her wisdom, warmth and kindness. Learned sooo much!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and conversational. The temperature was about 35C, and he showed concern for his tour under the hot conditions. All in all, very informative and managed at a reasonable pace.

Tour was advertised as being 3 hours long. In actuality, it was just over 2 hours. The guide used significant profanity and told stories that were not age appropriate for my daughters who are 11 and 14. Palatine hill was not included in the tour.

Regarding the duration, heavy crowds can sometimes impact the pacing and cause the tour length to vary. Additionally, please note that for our afternoon departures, the Palatine Hill is not included in the itinerary as the site closes earlier in the day.
