Be warned! Company can change locations without notice! Totally stripped us of colosseum experience - because of them we weren’t able to get in

We respectfully disagree with this review.
The claim that the location was changed without notice is simply incorrect. No changes were made to the meeting point, itinerary, or tour route for this departure. All participants received the same meeting instructions and tour information as advertised at the time of booking.
We always strive to communicate clearly with our guests and take such allegations seriously. Given that no location changes occurred, it is possible that the reviewer may be confusing our tour with another experience or provider.
For this reason, we do not believe this review accurately reflects the experience that was offered or the information provided to participants.

Our guide Jacopo accomplished a herculean task in providing a clear narrative of the history of Rome in two hours. The tour was not only informative but also pedagogically sound; the style was personal and funny; involvement of the audience and questions were allowed. 5/5

I booked this tour for 6:00 pm on June 8 for my family of 4. On June 7 at 4:17 pm, there was a What’s App message from Nicolette (written in a foreign language) stating to confirm my tour for the next day. Because we were quite busy with other commitments, I did not see the message immediately. About 70 minutes later, Nicollet writes to tell me she canceled the tour. I see an email from Viator showing it was canceled and to expect a refund. I then go to What’s App and inquire and Nicolette tells me that it is my fault because I did not respond to her. She gave me 70 minutes to respond? I have booked other tours w Viator and have never had to confirm via What’s App and especially not within a 70-minute window. I questioned Nicollet further and there was no solution. Trying to book an alternative tour less than 24-hours in advance for the colosseum was impossible. Huge disappointment.

Christian Ricci was a great guide- knowledgeable and funny. This tour was an excellent choice for those tho want a value oriented option, those who want to avoid the heat and crowds, and those who want to walk a little less than the typical 3 hour comprehensive tour of these areas.
I had taken a 3.5 hour tour about 10 days prior with a private group and it was great, but I knew my teenage history buff wouldn’t love the heat and crowds. This was perfect for her. Christian was awesome. Tip him well.

Christian was absolutely amazing! He is so knowledgeable, loves his country and loves Italy. Born and raised in this beautiful city. He definitely takes you back in time to give the history on how it all got started. He answered every question that was asked. He knows his history, hands down.
The best money I spent on a tour, better than the Vatican tour we took during our visit and spent way more and received was less. You will not be disappointed at all!!! Do it, take the tour and ask for Christian.

This was a great tour of the major sights of Ancient Rome. We loved how Ivan, our tour guide, weaved in different periods of history based on the actual parts of the ancient ruins we were seeing. The storytelling was great and the walk was easy to do and engaging throughout.

One of the best walking tours I've ever taken! Christian was so knowledgeable about all the sites! He is from Roma, so you can tell he actually cares about the information that's being provided! He's extremely knowledgeable, threw a little humor in here and there and was a very pleasant to listen to and tour Roma with! The tour was conducted as planned, and all other participants joined without issue and had a great experience.

Don't be fooled by the title..."Colosseum & Roman Forum...Night Walking" It's a wonderful, it's knowledge filled tour of Rome!! You will not be disappointed!! Nicolette was magnificent!! She was full of knowledge, fun, and made the entire experience contagious with her excitement. It made all the walking enjoyable!! Every question was addressed and answered. Was thought provoking and gained so much knowledge. Was worth every penny "EURO" and more!! Highly recommended, you won't regret it!!

Great tour guide, but the tour said Palisade Hill was included, and it was closed. We were told to go back the next day because it was included in our ticket, but we’re not able to return. We spent $45 on taxis to/from and have a full schedule. That should have been disclosed from the beginning. Not the way to do business.

Our Colosseum and Roman Forum Sightseeing Area Night Walking Tour does not include Palatine Hill, and that’s clearly written in the tour description. We never promise access to it, so the complaint about it being closed simply doesn’t apply to us.
We take pride in being transparent with every guest, but accuracy goes both ways — leaving feedback for the wrong company creates confusion and unfairly damages the reputation of honest operators.

This was a wonderful tour! Simón was an incredible guide with his knowledge of the history of the area. I was skeptical at first because of the low cost and wow, we had a couple hiccups because of an accident. We changed our route and got to experience even more.
