My son and I were excited to go on this tour. Unfortunately, the audio equipment did not work so we could not hear what the guide was saying. We tried using different ear pieces, and the guide tried changing channels, but it still didn’t work. The other people in our tour group had the same problem. After a few minutes, we decided to leave the tour group and walk around the Pantheon ourselves while reading about the structure on my iPhone. I requested a 50% refund and was given a 30% refund because I “chose” to leave the tour group. Unfortunately, it’s not much of a choice when the audio equipment doesn’t work and you can’t hear anything.

Madam, first of all, you did not ask for a 50% refund. You asked for a refund without indicating the amount. Second of all, as I wrote to you in private, we had bought the tickets, we had hired a guide, and the group was small so you could have stayed closer to the guide if there were problems with the headsets. You chose to leave. I am sorry about this technical problem and we have already solved it.

I booked a week ago for our last day in Rome and at breakfast on the day of the pantheon, everyone has Rome Marathon shirts on, so I ask about a taxi and the hotel said that it will be very hard and expensive to get there with all the streets blocked. So he tried to route us on rail lines and how to do tickets because it’s Sunday and no one will be working so 2 different rail lines and about a mile walk and we don’t speak the language. So we decided that it would be to difficult for seniors with mobility issues. The part that I take issue with is that they knew that there was a marathon scheduled for this date and didn’t let us know that there could be a problem getting to the pantheon. I sent a message 4 hours before the meeting time and was told we would not have a problem getting back after the event was over. I was looking forward to this but it was not possible to take the chance of getting lost! I do believe I should be refunded my money because of the lack of communication of a marathon in Rome.

I am truly sorry for your experience with transport and the marathon but we supplied the tour as per your booking - I'm sorry as all the other visitors took the marathon into configuration for their travels. Your guide had your named pre booked entry tickets were bought and we awaited your presence, as was explained on the phone a taxi stand with taxis waiting would have taken you back to your hotel after the tour as the Marathon would have been finished by the end of the tour, we did go out of our way to explain that all was OK, these variables are beyond our control. The Pantheon represents 2 millennia of history and yet actively used as a Church. Our tour guide did a great job of explaining the building, it's historical significance, and the important markings. Absolutely splended. Elena did a fantastic job!

Our private Pantheon tour with Elena was outstanding. She was poised, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, bringing the history of this remarkable building to life. With a PhD in art history and architecture, she was the perfect person to guide us through its fascinating history.
We chose the elite tour, so it was a personal tour for just my husband and me, which made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was the visual presentation she brought with laminated images showing what the Pantheon likely looked like before it was converted into a church. Seeing those reconstructions while standing inside the building added wonderful context.
Elena’s expertise and engaging explanations made this one of the most memorable tours of our trip. We would highly recommend her.

We enjoyed our tour with Donatella! She taught us many interesting facts anout Patheon and we have been a few times befoe! The crowd lines felt overwhelming, but with the tour we quickly were able to enter! Donatella was kind, interesting and fun! We will reccomend to friends!

Didn't really understand what this tour or the pantheon was prior to arrival. The pantheon is a single room chuch with paintings and sculptures amd so much history as with most things in Rome. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the headset made hearing her easy with the crowd.. The amount of people in the pantheon and in the square at the entrance made it a little hard to fully enjoy and take in but we made the best of it

Our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating, and wore her guide license so we knew she was certified. Would use this company again! Beware of tour guides not wearing the license, they can not enter certain sites with tour groups!

We just didn't find it worth it after seeing so many other beautiful churches and other sights while in Rome. Of course that is a matter of opinion. If you do want to go, the tour operator and guide were excellent!
