With these many people around the area it may be a little hard to located the guide. I used google map it help a lot.
My wife and I really enjoyed Mary Lou’s knowledgeable and interesting tour of the Pantheon. Mary Lou’s talk made Ancient Rome and the later days when the Church took over the site, and after the Kingdom of Italy was created, come alive. She was engaging and developed a rapport with our small group. Her knowledge of the paintings and burial sites was impressive.
Difficult to understand her English. Lingered inside too long and would have preferred seeing and hearing more about the backside and exterior of the building.

While the Pantheon’s remarkable interior forms a substantial part of the tour, we appreciate that you would have preferred more time devoted to the rear and exterior of the building, which is discussed during the introduction at the beginning of the tour. Thank you for your feedback, which we will take into account. As we run tours daily, it would be very helpful if you could tell us the date and approximate time of your tour so that we can identify the guide and investigate your concerns properly. We work exclusively with officially licensed, fluent English-speaking guides, some of whom are native English speakers. We would also like future guests to know that our tours can be tailored to their interests, and requests to focus on particular themes or areas can often be accommodated.
Our tour guide shared the history while allowing us time for photos and time to rest in seats. We did a photo from the floor to the oculus. We learned about the sun light through oculus to the walls and entry door. It was perfezione.
The guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable.
I wish she had had a flag like other guides. It was not easy to spot her on the huge crowded plaza.
We were given a store to be in front of. That was all.

We have taken note and will assess your suggestion, in fact some guides do hold up a flag and some hold up a card (in your case) - Readers: The meeting place is always the same as per your voucher and the back up cell is on. Most Happy you enjoyed the content and the guide.
My wife and I could not understand our guide. It was very frustrating. In addition the tour lasted 40 minutes and not 60. To be fair I would like my money back

We are very sorry that you and your wife were unable to understand the guide and felt that the tour was shorter than advertised. Our Pantheon tours are scheduled to last 60 minutes as this tour did; on this occasion, as everyone arrived early, the tour began ahead of the scheduled starting time, which may have created the impression that it ended early.
Although other members of the group participated actively and asked several questions, we are genuinely sorry that the experience did not work for you.

Guide was fantastic—very knowledgeable and nice.
Know that you may be randomly asked for id upon entry. Shoulders should be covered (although I couldn’t tell if this is 100% enforced).
Mary Lou is an incredible guide and is VERY knowledgeable. Absolutely loved all the information! Highly recommend!
Was very interesting, but not well organized. Met infront of a store. Waited for late people to arrive. The line was HUGE cause it was closed the day before. Could have easily had someone start waiting in line, so the tour ran about 20-30 min. later than it should have. I would have missed another tour ai had scheduled cause of them, but luckily my other tour rescheduled.

Timing is of the essence and thank you for arriving early. We ask people to arrive 10-15 minutes earlier so that the variables can be dealt with, as you mentioned certain days might be considered particular - yours was. Please note that the tour lasts a total of 1 hour and this includes the introduction outside. We purchase pre-booked entrance tickets for each visitor as an agency with named and timed entry, these allow for a swifter access. We are happy your appreciated the guides shared wisdom and thank you for your flexibility on what was, as you mentioned, a particular day. Happy it all worked out and thank you fro your feedback.
Our Tour guide got us right thru the lines took us all over and filled us in on all kinds of great info on the site.

Annalisa was an archeologist and she was very detailed in telling us about the structure and the significance of the building. It was nice and informative.
Just wonderful! Amanda was our guide and she was extremely knowledgeable and good fun. Would highly recommend this tour and Amanda great energy

When we could hear and understand our guide, she was kind and knowledgeable. However, her voice was too soft to compete with all of the other voices around. We could only hear and understand a portion of what she said despite it being a tour with just four of us. Buy your timed ticket ahead online and download the app or rent the self-guided tour once inside. There was no line for this and you are sure to get more information for much less money. This was a total waste of nearly $200.

We are very sorry that you were unable to hear the guide clearly throughout the tour. Regardless of the surrounding noise, it is our responsibility to ensure that every guest can comfortably follow and enjoy the commentary.
We would, however, like to clarify a few points. Your booking was upgraded at no additional cost to a private tour for the four members of your party—an experience that would normally have cost approximately twice as much. There was also no ticket queue because we had reserved timed, named tickets for your group in advance as part of our service.
We are pleased that you found your guide kind and knowledgeable. She reported that your group asked many questions during the visit, which she believed she had answered thoroughly. Nevertheless, if you could hear only part of her commentary, we understand why the experience did not meet your expectations, and we regret that this was not brought to her attention during the tour so that she could have adjusted her voice or addressed the problem immediately.
A guided tour and a self-guided app offer very different experiences, and we fully respect that some visitors may prefer the latter. However, describing the tour as a “total waste” does not, in our view, fairly reflect the private upgrade, advance ticket arrangements, personal guidance and opportunity to ask questions that were provided.

Knowledge is key about the history of the Panthenon and one of the ancient best preserved.
Great tour of Pantheon! You do still line up to get entrance, but line moves fast and you go in as a group with your guide so a bit easier than just on your own. Tour guide gave a great tour with good explanations of everything inside. Gave us option of staying longer once tour was done.
Even though it was the first Sunday of the month so free entry, this guided tour was streamline not chaos with the increased number of people

The Pantheon is one of the greatest marvels in Rome. Donatella was an excellent guide and explained each aspect of the monument well and clear. I could spend hours staring up at the dome and reveling in the intricate beauty. This tour skipped the line for us and led us right in with no issues or wait. Well worth it to have access in and learn some history!
Having someone highlight important aspects of the Pantheon was nice but the guide was a bit distracted from the information by trying to shame the group about random facts that we didn’t know. Could have been much better if the guide was focused on the Pantheon and all the history there. ChatGPT proved to be a better guide once the 75 min was up.

As for AI, human guides inevitably bring their own personality, humour, and perspective to a tour. While most guests appreciate that personal touch, it really helps people remember the details and passionate facts - we are truly sorry you perceived this as a threat. We personally believe that the worrying aspect of AI is not that it is becoming more human, but that we humans are becoming more like robots. By the way it looks like you got an extra 15 minutes as the tour normally lasts 60 minutes!

Amanda was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to spend the time with. The deeper level of information about the structure, engineering, history etc was fascinating. This was the one tour we booked that didn’t have times changed either, so we appreciated that.
