- Children aged 7-18 are entitled to a reduced entry fee (see tour and ticket pricing) and must provide proof of age.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
- At least 4 people are required for the guided tour options to take place.
- Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked start time. Tickets are time sensitive and we cannot accomodate late arrivals.
- Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.
- Important: St. Peter's Basilica is not included in all tour options. If you wish to visit the Basilica as part of your experience, please ensure you select a tour where it is explicitly listed as included.
- Please include all names as they appear on your passports when booking. Tickets are non-transferable and if the names on your booking do not match your ID you may be denied access and will not be due a refund. Any name changes must be communicated at least 72 hours in advance.
- Please bring an ID or a photo/copy of ID.
- Important: The ‘Basilica Only’ option it does NOT include access to the Vatican Museums.
- Important: From January 12 to March 31, 2026, conservation work will be carried out on Michelangelo’s Last Judgment (Giudizio Universale). The Sistine Chapel will remain open to visitors; however, the fresco will be temporarily not visible due to scaffolding. We thank you for your understanding during this important preservation project.

Need more in-depth explanations of each area visited during the tour. It seemed that the guide was not openly sharing her knowledge about such an important site. We all were visiting Colosseum for the first time. We will probably not come for years or may be never. The experience could have been better

This tour really exceeded my expectations. However, I wish we had done it in the morning because there was so much to see and we would have enjoyed it more if we hadn’t spent the morning also touring other sites. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very engaging. Everyone really enjoyed the tour.

Christine was fabulous. She kept us going, the tour felt shorter than I thought it would because of how good Christine was at explaining and navigating. She knew the good spots to stop for a quick bathroom break without lines. Gave good info for after the tour. Would book again.

We had a great experience with tour operator EcoArt. Prior to arrival they rang to check we knew where to meet them, and from then the tour was great.
The guide new so so much, probably more than we needed but it was interesting. We were very much looking forward to the Sistine Chapel, our guide respectfully asked us to keep talking to a hush which we all respected, except the tour guides and groups who were already in there were quite loud, so the calm feeling expected to feel in the chapel was lost. Our guide sensibly went through the Sistine Chapel information before going in, so you could appreciate the ceiling. Overall very good guide and company

This was my third tour of Vatican / Sistine Chapel. I learned more on this tour and the two previous combined. Fred is an archaeologist, and he spoke for the entire three hours, nonstop, providing an unbelievable amount of historical, religious, societal, and cultural information. I would never see anything this important without a guide. You will be missing a lot of really important information, plus standing in line for hours. Five stars. Came with friends, family, daughter and husband. All were happy!

We had a fabulous tour guide Martina who was very easy going and knowledgeable. It was a great company to book through and we do recommend this to others.
The tour itself we enjoyed but weren't overally blown away by it, even the sistine chapel surprisingly. Huge crowds also made the experience a little unpleasant unfortunately.

We met our guide outside the Vatican. We were in a very small group of 10. 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
There is a queue for groups at a particular time slot but it moved very fast as we had purchased the skip the line tickets. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we would totally recommend this tour.
