Michael was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable! We had a very small group, only 6 people, which was perfect. We all were very comfortable with one another. The food and wine exceeded expectations! We would highly recommend it!

We ate at four locations walking around Rome. Tina was very engaging and gave us a sense of where the food and wine originated and how it was made. The food and the company were excellent. The walking helps make room between courses 😉
Michael was an amazing food tour guide. He took his time to explain all the foods in great detail which was great. Nothing was rushed and there was sooo much food. As I said to Michael, we have done food tours all over the world, but his has been the best by far. Thanks for a great food tour experience, Michael.

What an incredible experience from start to finish! This was easily one of the highlights of our time in Italy, and so much of that was thanks to Vivien. She was absolutely fantastic — welcoming, knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely enthusiastic about everything she shared with us.
The food was exceptional. We started with an amazing selection of cheeses paired with beautifully aged balsamic vinegar, which was honestly one of the standout experiences of the evening. The flavors were incredible, and Vivien took the time to explain what made everything special, which made us appreciate it even more. From there, we enjoyed delicious pizza, perfectly prepared rice balls, and fantastic pasta. Every dish was memorable, and you could really taste the quality and care that went into the food.
And of course, the wine was flowing! Vivien had an impressive knowledge of the wines, the food, and the local culinary traditions. She made everything approachable and interesting without ever making it feel like a lecture. You could tell she genuinely loved what she was doing, and that enthusiasm was contagious.
What really set the experience apart was the atmosphere she created. It never felt rushed, overly formal, or touristy. Instead, it felt like spending an evening with a knowledgeable local friend who wanted to share the very best of Italian food and culture. There was plenty of laughter, great conversation, incredible food, and more than enough wine.
We’ve had some amazing meals throughout Italy, but experiences like this are what make a trip truly memorable. It’s one thing to eat great Italian food, but it’s another to understand the traditions, ingredients, and stories behind it all.
I cannot recommend this experience enough, and if you’re lucky enough to have Vivien as your host, you’re in for an incredible time. We would absolutely do it again. Thank you, Vivien, for such a wonderful and unforgettable evening!

We loved this experience getting to learn more about local foods and wine in Rome. We left absolutely stuffed with all of the food provided, so definitely come hungry. Our guide Vivienne was awesome. She made sure our drinks were topped off the entire time and kept us informed about what we were eating and drinking. We would highly recommend this experience!
What an amazing tour above and beyond what we expected. Out tour guide, Alessandra was so awesome and accommodating making sure everyone’s needs were met as we had some in our group that were vegan and had a nut allergy. She was so knowledgeable and explained the foods and wines from each region. She also gave us some tips and tours while we finish our stay here in Rome. There was plenty of food and wine for everyone. I highly recommend this tour and will do it again the next time we are in Rome!

Please make sure that you don't eat anything before this tour or you won't appreciate all the tasty food on offer. We had an amazing guide called Vivien and she was so informative. We had such a great evening and she made it really fun.
Perfection! This might be the best food tour we’ve been on. Want to try famous pizza? The best voted charcuterie, pasta from a famous chef, the best gelato? This is the tour. I went to one last year in trastavere and this was far better. Each location was prize-winning. While this is a bit further out - it is in every way worth it. One of our party has food allergies to 7 different things and our guide Michael was extremely careful to be sure that all food was okay and to substitute everything appropriately. Michael was a superb guide!!

I’m a veteran traveler, have taken many food tours over the years and count this tour among the best. To begin with, Michael, our guide for the tour, had extensive knowledge of the food and wine we were given and he was very engaging with all of the people on the tour. The food and wine we tasted were top notch and amounted to a full meal. Also, although my wife and I have been to Rome multiple times in the past, the tour gave us our first look at the Prati neighborhood, which, by itself, is a worthwhile experience. Michael was also very attentive to the dietary restrictions of the individuals on the tour and made sure that everyone was satisfied with the food and wine choices available to them. The bottom line, whether you are experiencing Rome for the first time or, like me, you are a seasoned traveler, this Roman Food Tour, will make for a pleasurable experience, especially if you want to acquaint yourself with the best local food available.

This was fantastic! Our tour guide, Giordano, was great. Super friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything so well at the beginning. We had a small group size and it was great, we were all friends by the end of the night. The food stops were amazing. It really had a neighborhood feel to it. Giordano knew everyone and everyone knew him. Perfect wine pairings with every stop, plenty of time at each stop. The butcher shop/deli was absolutely the highlight of the night. the shop owner's grandson came out and gave samples and told stories. No one wanted to move on! we could've stayed there all night and been happy. Great way to spend our first evening in Rome.
This was an excellent tour. Leila was so knowledgeable about the food and wine. She was an absolute pleasure. Plenty of delicious food. Several very good wines both red and white. The walk through the neighborhood was perfect. We thought it was a perfect way to get to know the local cuisine. It was a highlight of our trip. The amount of food and wine made this a great value.
