Excellent food and wine tour! Our guide, Michael, was fun and incredibly knowledgeable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We stopped for truffle tasting, cured meats, cheese, posh pizza, pasta and gelato — all absolutely delicious. The wine flowed generously throughout, and we also met a really lovely group of people along the way. A fantastic experience I’d highly recommend!

Great tour! Stephanie is the BEST!

Austin_C, Mar 2026
This tour was amazing! Possibly my favorite thing I did in Rome. It was my first food tour ever, and I enjoyed it so much that I have done food tours at other cities I've visited on my 5 week trip. Stephanie was an amazing tour guide and if you don't take a tour with her, you're missing out!

10/10 recommend

10/10 recommend! The cultural and history provided along with the good food, wine and company of like minded tourists was the cherry on top! Ask for Michael he's the best!

If you want food, don’t worry about restaurants.

Anna_R, Mar 2026
A real look around Rome’s top hospitality venues with cafes, pizza, restaurants, cured meats and gelato at the end of the tour. Our group’s favourite was Paciotti Salumeira for all the best hams and cheeses you cannot bring back home. Be careful ladies, I hear Tomasso is a huge flirt. I would like to thank Irene, Alessia and the Rome Food Tour company for organising this opportunity and cannot state enough, this is highly recommended.

Definately worth doing!!!!!

Stefani was an amazing tour guide. Her background stories were as wonderful as the food and wine. My teenage boys enjoyed the evening as much as I did.

Wonderful Experience

William_S, Feb 2026
Michael was very knowledgeable, friendly, spoke clearly and distinctly. He described the history and importance of all the foods and wines and what made them special. The pace, the food and wine variety and quality were all wonderful. Would definitely recommend, and would do this tour with Michael when we come back to Rome.

Waste of money and time

Celina_M, Feb 2026
Worst food tour I have ever been on. The guide talked to us like children which was bizarre. The food was basically mass produced food with no passion or real taste to it. Many people in our group were unhappy with their experience. Our tour left before the time listed on the ticket so we missed the first hour since they wouldn’t tell us the location name which was within walking distance. Absolutely terrible all around.

I really enjoyed the tour...

PatrickTucker, Jan 2026
I really enjoyed the tour with our guide Michael. He is very informative about all the food and wine. He will tell you where and how it’s made. And the significance of all the products. Plus he’s just a really nice and engaging guy. You spend like 4 hours with him and it’s so nice. Just a smart / cool / kind guy. I had a really great time. So much food and wine. I was absolutely stuffed!

Great tour!

Great food tour in Rome. Tour guide Vincent was best ever. Easy and fun, would really recommend to everybody.

Fun way to taste Rome!

Brittany_B, Jan 2026
We learned a lot from Jordano about how to identify real Italian products and their certifications. We learned about truffles. Learned about history of toasting. Experienced a variety of cheeses and wines. The prosecco was amazing at the first stop. The Montepulciano was amazing and the highlight of the evening. Went to a famous pizzeria with some very unusual options. We came hungry and it was more food than we could handle. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening, lots of laughs!

Best food tour in Rome!!
