Tour was good and saw many highlights of Rome in the evening when things are much cooler and make for a nicer time to walk. A few hiccups that kept me from rating it higher. Guide was late for the arranged meeting time and also late beyond the tour departure time. She messaged to explain there was traffic so understandable but also likely easy to anticipate. Also, the information presented throughout the tour was interesting but could have been delivered in a more captivating manner.

Dan did a nice job of explaining interesting facts about Roman history that we won’t have found on our own. He gave personal experiences too which made it special. The evening time was pleasant too since the weather was so hot.

We took this tour our first night in Rome. The night tour is lovely because it is not to hot and the ruins are illuminated. Highly qualified tour guide.

Dan was a great tour guide. I rate on a few things. Pace was great with enough time to get the photos. He was easy to understand and follow. And finally his knowledge about the city was top notch.. As a teacher its important that the guide offers accurate information with a mix of local legends and he was so great at balancing the two. Would definitely recommend this tour.

This was a 2 hour walking tour so bring comfy shoes. Our guide Alina was full of great facts and covered Piazza Navona, pantheon, outside of the colosseum, and Trajan forum and trevi fountain.

Our guide, Sharon, was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered questions from members of our small group throughout. She shared many interesting historical (and some more recent) facts and also included some quieter areas during the walk. The tour ended in dark at the Colosseum- and impressive and memorable end.
Sharon went above and beyond in supporting members of the tour to arrange taxis back to our hotels.

Sharon was phenomenal! We had a small group - 3 couples and myself. Couldn't ask for a better group. Everyone was engaged, asked questions, and stayed together.
Sharon was so knowledgeable and gave us so much insight into Rome's history as well as present day.
The tour brought new light to places I had walked by but didn't know much about yet. And ending at the colloseum was perfection!
Sharon was a great guide - knew people we passed, was so friendly with us as well as waiters and others working around the city from seeing her give tours.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I've been on many tours in many countries, and I've passed quite a few during my stay in Rome, and none were as good as ours tonight. Thank you so much!!

Tour guide canceled the day before for “administrative” reason.
We suspect they purposely overbook tours because of Viator’s generous cancellation policy. When no-one cancelled fot our tour, they cancelled us.

Dan was great! We seriously enjoyed this tour and seeing all of the sights. We walked a lot, but barely noticed since we were constantly seeing new sights and being educated throughout the whole night.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and had lots of fun facts and stories that added more than the typical info on a building/statue. Only downside, which we should have thought of...this time of year even at 8 pm it's not yet dark and lights aren't on. In retrospect might have been good to do this tour earlier in our visit which would provide a great overview. Evening is cooler and crowds are lighter so you can reasonably cover the distance.

It was excellent. Sila, our tour guide, was exceptionally passionate about sharing Rome with visitors. She also shared many helpful local tips and tricks, including how to spot the best gelato. I would definitely recommend this tour. Even if you have seen Rome during the day, you should also experience it at night.
