Great experience Pravic was very helpful. Clearly started meeting place and escorted us till we got in. Made sure our digital audio was properly installed and working.
The buying and ticket pickup experience felt like an illicit transaction. After you pay online, you are provided a location (on the street) to meet someone who will give you the tickets. We located the person and he gave us the tickets. Im not sure how others get tickets, but this process felt sketchy, especially considering all the warnings tourists get about being leery of scams.
Very easy to exchange voucher for tickets. Allowed me to get the time I wanted when it was sold out directly through the official website.
First of all, meeting the guide up the street a bit and not actually in front of the Pantheon was really smart. Secondly, he brought us right up to the front, no waiting. One caution, entry tickets are delivered through WhatsApp so make sure you have that on your phone

Our first Vatican skip- the-line tour was booked for 10am on Wed. Arrived at 8am. Line was long and barely moved. We heard that a "VIP" was visiting so all tickets were moved to 4pm. By 4pm we just left. They said we would not get in and Viator would let us book for Thurs. But we could not book for Thurs because we had already booked and paid for Collessum, Palatine Hills, and Forum that day. Rebooked instead for Fri. 2 hour wait so missed the Pantheon entry time. So, bottom line: bought 5 Vatican and 5 Pantheon tickets and were unable to use them. Would like a refund please?!

The “guides” were rude and disrespectful. It’s a way to get in, but I was embarrassed to be a part of the group and did not appreciate getting yelled at by the guides for no reason. Their tactics for cutting the line angered other visitors. I won’t use Viator again.
It turns out that the Viator bar code ticket is not enough for entry. You have to search the surrounding streets for the vendor who will use that to give you a voucher. Confusing and fairly difficult in this crowded locale. Viator needs to make this process clear in advance. Our entry to the Pantheon was delayed after that fuss.
It was a ticket and the guy looked bored and almost didn’t care we were asking him questions. He gave us the ticket and pointed to where we go…we figured out what line and everything else 🤔
The guides were right where they said and gave great directions. We had a little trouble with the audio guide but got it working again rather quickly. Be aware the meeting point is about 2 min walk from the sight. We weren’t in front of it and quickly realized we were in the wrong place.
The meeting place was very difficult to find. After several phone calls, some to numbers that wouldn’t pick up, a gentlemen sent me a pin location. Still couldn’t find place. I told him where we were and he finally arrived, but had no identified flag to find him. He said look around I am waving my arms. However, he still stayed with until our self-guided tour was downloaded to our phones and we entered the pantheon with our tickets.
Very difficult to find person to turn voucher into ticket. If your phone fails to work you can’t get tickets.
Much too crowded to enjoy seeing Colosseum.
The audio portion of this tour did not work. Inside the Pantheon there was a desk where One could buy audio guides that would work. I bought two audio guides so that we could get what I thought would have been included in this Viator tour booking for the price we paid. The architecture structure of this dome is remarkable!
It was a bit difficult to find the meeting point from which we seem to be push, pushed into a line that got us into the Pantheon. It seems like organized chaos, but we did get in!
Self guided audio tour. We moved at our own pace and was able to work through the groups inside. Picked this tour since it allowed us to skip the long lines.
I am literally furious and demand to see a 100% refund for this event. We were never told by the tour operator or Viator that not only was there a half marathon going on that same morning, but that it ended directly at the Colosseum. All they told us was that they needed to change the time slightly due to some kind of “administrative issue” (the literal quote in the message they sent us ...). When we booked our cab this morning the cab driver said all the roads were closed 2 to 3 hours ago and that there was “no way to get there”. So. We walked 1 1/2 miles and attempted to join the tour in progress, sent a message to our tour operator, telling them what it happened and attempted to sync up with them, but they never replied. I had to buy duplicate tickets for palentine hill and the Roman forum. Was never able to get another ticket to the colosseum or tour it. Couldn’t be more disappointed with how poorly this played out and my overall customer experience.
Pantheon tour.
The guy at the meet up point set up the tour on our phones. We listened on our phones while walking around. Great tour. Easy. Learned a lot.
Looks like two people from India running this tour. They barely spoke English. And then they all they did was walk us over to the church and let us in.
They provide a ticket and help skip the lines for quick entry. The tour consists of an audio app that allows you to listen to prerecorded information. Calling it a tour in the classical sense is an overstatement. We also had trouble with the audio app working especially inside. 100 percent dependent on the use of your smart phone which was a challenge for some other attendees.
Very easy process. Meeting place is very close to Pantheon.
My recommendation is to download the audio guide as it may stop in Pantheon if reception is poor.
We went on a Sunday morning before mass snd had the opportunity to listen to the choir. Awesome!
It was very convenient and streamlined. It was easy to find the guide and to get the tickets. He walked with us until the entrance to the pantheon. In less than 10 minutes we were inside.
Audio didn’t work, as the guide dumped us and left, we had no one to ask for help, the audio was a webpage and we couldn’t hear anything
We saw a long line at the Pantheon and were able the buy tickets same day. Appreciated the option. The guy with the white flag was nice.
A very inexpensive way to get your own guided tour of the Pantheon. Met up with a guy who gave us a code to download the audio tour, went to the pantheon for our scheduled time and got to go at our own pace listening to the history of the building and the people idolized within. Just make sure your phone is charged before you go.
The Pantheon crowds and lines took up the whole piazza. I use Viator a lot and very happy with their vendors. The meeting place is a block away from Pantheon, and Google maps directs a longer walk route for the ticket meetup with vendor Royale tours. Once the tour operator gets your phone audio tour set up they take you straight in to Pantheon- no line at all. There the audio tour is very helpful and interesting on your own. BRING your own EAR PODS or earphones that can plug in to your phone for tour!! Tour operator does NOT supply.
The meeting spot was confusing and the host needed a larger more prominent flag.
You are also very dependent on your cell phone so be sure to have an extra charger
The Pantheon was a last minute addition to the itinerary for my mom and me. The official website didn't have any last minute availability, but through Royal Routes, I was able to purchase my tickets last minute, they transferred the tickets and provided an audio guide. It was worth not having to wait in an hour-long line for regular tickets.
This was exactly what we needed, we were slightly late but the tour manager was happy to wait, we had a downloaded tour with lots of information and could go at our own pace. We had a wheelchair user with us and this was negotiated with no problem. Thoroughly recommend and very enjoyable.
Little difficult getting tickets. Initial email sent "vouchers". We had to find the viator rep to get the actual entry ticket. Aggravating and time consuming, while line to enter got longer and longer.
Great experience! Professional, friendly and efficient! Everything happened on time and we were provided all the necessary access we needed as advertised.
