Our guide, Paola was wonderful and so very knowledgeable. She is easy to understand and a delightful person. We wished we had more time at some locations such as the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, but you can't do it all in one day. At least we saw these things. I recommend this tour to anyone who has a very short time in Rome.

Great Overview

Great overview of the Coliseum and the Roman Forum with some powerful entrances into the Coliseum. Fabio was very engaged with all of us, showing all of us key aspects of the Forum such as how the ground level in Ancient Rome was much lower than today, and the exact location of the house of the Vestal Virgins.

Roberto is a great tour guide

Roberto cared for us like family. He had great information, stories, and knowledge. Along with this he pointed out great photo spots with time to take pics. I didn’t realize that we would end in the Forum and could then stay and explore. We were so hungry by the end we didn’t end up staying. Pro tip: go on a full stomach or have drinks/snacks so you can stay in the Roman Forum and explore. It’s huge and the tour includes just a few glimpses. You could definitely stay for a couple more hours.

I booked this tour for our friends who were visiting Rome for the first time. The wife has a walking disability and uses a wheelchair to get around. They were anxious on how they get around the Vatican but they only had praises for their guide Franceska. She expertly navigated the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel seamlessly and comfortably for them. She was very informative and accommodating that our friends can’t stop thanking us for booking this tour for them.

Interesting Tour

The meeting point is very difficult to navigate as there are many groups in the same area so if you’re unfamiliar, leave enough time to get from the city center to the meeting point. I will say that the company did a good job navigating us in the right direction and was very patient as well. Our tour guide Kate was excellent and had that dry Italian humor which made it a little more fun and interesting. Her “nothing is new” bit was hilarious and on point. She also had a photo album to show before and after pictures which was really cool. That said, there is a lot of walking, steps to navigate, and it can get very hot. I’d advise you to bring lots of water, breathable clothing, a portable fan and comfortable shoes. I would still recommend.

The walking tour around...

The walking tour around Rome was everything we thought it would be. Our guide was very kind and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the weather did not start out as planned, but as we got going, it cleared up for our entire time. We had a small group of about 10 people. Our guide was good to communicate all of the sites listed on the itinerary. I would recommend.

Great Tour!

Really glad we did this tour since it covered four main areas of interest: Piazza Navona and the Fountain of Four Rivers, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. The tour guide is excellent. Christina is thoroughly familiar with the areas covered and makes the time interesting and even humorous. I was very impressed with the fact that the tour meeting point was very close to some very nice public restrooms. That was super-convenient for everyone before the tour started. The Pantheon portion was not skip-the-line but don’t let that stop you, as it moved very quickly. Also we were expecting chaos at the Trevi Fountain, but in spite of the huge crowds, within twenty minutes we were able to have a bathroom break, get gelato samples, and get right down to the water’s edge for some great pictures. Five stars for sure!

We LOVED the food tour...

We LOVED the food tour with Flavia! She was so personable, knowledgeable, and fun in the time we spent together. My wife and I had just gotten off a flight a few hours before we took the tour and even though we were fighting jetlag, we had a great time. It made us want to stay in Trastavere next time we are in Rome!

Sharon not only showed us the classic sights such as Piazza Nova, the Spanish Staird, the Trevi Fountain etc. but also shared lots of interesting insights with is. You need a guide for this one!

Be sure to go through the bookstore and historical displays before you leave. Very interesting and informative! Having a guide gave us such a better perspective. There are not many plaques to read to explain what you are seeing, so having Max there to give background and historical context was so worthwhile.
