Our tour of Mt. Etna and Gambino Winery was unbelievable. The day was so well-planned, from a quick coffee and pastry stop on our way up the volcano to a beautiful, well-paced hike with amazing views to a relaxing lunch and wine tasting at Gambino. I couldn't have planned it better myself! Luca, our guide, was so knowledgeable and fun. It was the perfect day. To note, we went in mid-March, and there was quite a lot of snow on Etna. Thankfully, Luca provided hiking boots and walking sticks for those of us who needed them!

We had the most incredible time at the Seaview Cooking Class with Chef Mimmo—this was easily one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, the setting alone took our breath away. Cooking with that stunning view of the sea felt like something out of a movie. Chef Mimmo was absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the entire experience feel relaxed and fun, while still teaching us authentic Sicilian techniques and flavors. You can tell how passionate he is about his craft, and it made everything we prepared taste even better. The food… WOW. Every course was fresh, flavorful, and truly representative of the region. And the wine flowing throughout the experience? Let’s just say it perfectly complemented every bite and made the afternoon even more enjoyable! This wasn’t just a cooking class—it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home for an amazing meal with friends. If you’re in Taormina, this is an absolute must-do. We left full, happy, and already wishing we could do it all over again. Highly, highly recommend!

Enjoyable experience

The tour was great and very well organized. Our guide Pepe was knowledgeable and friendly, and we really enjoyed learning about the area. Unfortunately, due to heavy snow, we weren’t able to climb Mt. Etna as planned, but this was for safety reasons and understandable. Taormina village was absolutely beautiful and made the day very worthwhile. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and still highly recommended.

A wonderful introduction to Sicilian cooking!

We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking lesson with Lidia, who was an excellent teacher and the recipes were easy to follow and accessible. She shared many practical cooking tips and also gave us great recommendations for places to try around the city. The session was fun, relaxed, and highly entertaining. We would absolutely recommend this experience to other travellers to Palermo.

Lovely boat trip

Excellent boat trip and lovely end to our trip to Palermo. On Viator it’s advertised at 3pm but as it gets dark earlier in November, they got in touch with a suggested earlier time and were very accommodating. Angela and her son were kind and friendly. First they took us to Mondello (beautiful spot) and docked so we could swim. Then they prepared a tasty Sicilian street food platter and Aperol Spritz. Then we sailed back towards Palermo and stopped at Queen’s Cave for a second swim and quick exploration. As the sun set, they provided us with cannoli, limoncello and fun music. Lovely time, thank you again :-)

From the moment Denise picked us up we knew it was going to be a fabulous day!! The winery was so so beautiful ! I’m not sure I have ever seen anything so beautiful. The wine was amazing, the food pairing was delicious. Then we went to a restaurant and the lunch they prepared was over the top!! Highly recommend!! Just an awesome experience!! Wonderful tour of Beautiful Sicily

We had a wonderful time touring Sicily with our tour guide ,Alessio, who was so friendly and kind. Alessio was full of information about Sicily and all the stops we made. He told us about all the areas and was happy to take pictures at all the beautiful views of Sicily. Pedro drove thru the busy streets and up the climb of Mt Pellegrino - we felt safe. He made us feel comfortable and safe thru the tour. Very nice as well. Two wonderful guides. We enjoyed Prosecco, cold drinks & snacks which made everything for a beautiful day! Absolute must when in Palermo!

This tour was honestly one of my family’s favorite things we did while in Sicily. Coming off of a busy few days in Rome, this was the perfect thing for us to do. It was us (5 adults), our driver and our guide, Fabrizio. The cruiser car was very comfortable (and VERY clean) and we had great weather. The amount of snacks and beverages included were far more than I had expected. They even tried to send more drinks with us from the cooler after the tour ended. We had some flight problems before arriving in Sicily and Fabrizio was wonderful to communicate with and changed our tour time to the afternoon with no issues. We got to learn some history during the tour while seeing amazing things and views. They offered to take group photos for us, too. They also offered to let us play our own music via the Bluetooth speaker but we told them to pick the music and their playlist was far better than ours would have been. We had a lot of people looking at us in the cruiser car, and we heard many of them saying, “Why didn’t we do something like that?!” We got to see all of the main sites without any hassle or walking forever. At the end, they offered to bring us back to our hotel or a restaurant, and we asked for restaurant recommendations. Their recommendations ended up being phenomenal. It was the most relaxed experience while being one of the most carefree/fun. I seriously cannot put into words how much my family and I enjoyed this. I thought more people would have booked this! Cannot recommend enough. We started comparing every excursion to this one. They set a high standard.
