At short notice, I wanted to see the inside of the Pantheon and to have a guided tour to provide me with details of the key history and key elements to see so I booked a tour using Viatours which included a discount as well as a "skip the queue" arrangement. This was operated by Crown Tours. The joining instructions were clear and the tour guide, Julian, was clearly knowledgeable and passionate and provided a fantastic insight of this amazing building, as well as the history of the Piazza della Minevera, which was the meeting point.

When they say “skip the line” that’s not true, you don’t stand in line to buy your ticket but you stand in line from the time you meet your guide. The tour with English speaking guide was just okay but the crowds were excessive and kinda ruins the experience. So the city /tour companies should reduce the number of tours going thru at the same time.

Just pay cash when you get there. That line was WAY shorter. Using this company added nothing. The very very long line moves pretty fast, but there’s no skipping the line and anything they say to the contrary is BS/marketing.

This was one of the worst tours I have paid for. Tour guide elaborated more on the starting point in regard to an elephant statue than he did at the actual Pantheon. The priority entrance line was longer than the regular line, and once inside, the tour guide did not speak much on the actual Pantheon. Definitely not worth the money spent. A regular ticket to the Pantheon alongside an audio guide would have been significantly cheaper and a more immersive experience.

Shocking experience. Completely disorganised and started late. We specifically booked a priority entrance for 11 on 21 April to watch the sun move through the oculus to reflect on the doorway. We stood in a queue for an hour and only when he asked another guide why there was a queue, did Daniel, our ‘guide’ realise the date and the significance. A trip of a lifetime and the opportunity was wasted.

This is not priority tickets -presently in a queue approx wait An hour! Tickets given by guide at 11.15 although actual ticket for 11-12!!! And told to arrive at 11.15 not sure if they will let us in!!! Line shorter if you buy at the Pantheon! I would like a refund please

The Pantheon is something we needed to check off the list. It is a short tour. Not sure it is worth the money. If you don’t mind waiting in line it might be the way to go.
