I had a wonderful tour of the Pantheon with Artur, who was an absolute bundle of energy and incredibly knowledgeable about ancient Roman and Italian history. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he described the Pantheon in such a vivid way that it was easy to imagine the building as it would have been in ancient Rome.
What I especially enjoyed was the way he explained the remarkable architectural techniques used to construct the Pantheon. He made sure we understood the clever solutions the ancient Romans developed, often through trial and error, and pointed out details I never would have noticed on my own.
Artur was also very attentive to the group and made sure questions were answered and that everyone understood what he was explaining before moving on. His combination of knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm made the Pantheon truly come to life.
A fascinating tour and an excellent guide. Highly recommended!

Stay away. This tour was not as advertised.
We booked what was supposed to be a Colosseum/Forum/Palatine Hill tour. Instead, we spent essentially the entire tour on Palatine Hill. The guide did not actually take us through the Colosseum in any meaningful way. She left us at the Colosseum rather than guiding us through it, and the only “Colosseum tour” we received was her showing us a couple of pictures while we looked at it from the top of the hill.
That is not what I paid for. I expected a guided tour of the Colosseum, not a distant discussion of it followed by being left to enter/figure it out ourselves. This was extremely disappointing and misleading. If the Colosseum is the main reason you are booking this tour, I would strongly recommend choosing a different operator.

Leave yourself enough time to find your meeting place because on any of these tours, the meeting places can get confusing as to where to meet and just ask people as you walk by especially the people that work in the area. They generally know where these meeting places are.

Must see when in Rome!! Definitely a historic place to visit. Site is very busy and hot in the summer. Bring your earplugs, there earplugs does not fit in some people’s ears

Not worth it, you save a few minutes only. Audio is not good, very limited. Maybe on an extremely busy day. Also the company was sitting so you could not find them. They do not respond to messages or calls at ALL.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information. I highly recommend this tour if you are in Rome. It won't disappoint.

Well it was like someone was reading from a power point. Only led the group to a couple of areas then stopped in the same spot for over 20 mins. Several people walked away to go see things on their own. Also one person asked way too many random questions and the guide spent lots of time trying to answer them. We went on multiple tours in Italy and this one was one we could’ve just roamed through on our own. The Pantheon was amazing but wouldn’t do the tour if we come again.

I booked the small group tour. I counted around 25 of us in my group so I wouldn’t call that a small group tour, even though that is what I was charged for. I even questioned the girl checking people in and she said I was in the small group.
Our tour guide, who I think was called Henry was an excellent guide though. Very enthusiastic and energetic on such a hot afternoon. And the 45 min tour of the Pantheon was the perfect amount of time: Just be aware if booking with Crown tours, how many people they consider a small group. I would have thought 10-12 pax. Not 25. But by then they have your money.
It is definitely worth seeing the Pantheon on a tour rather than not, as we learnt a lot of history that you would never know on your own .
Our tour guide made this tour worth it.

Horrible we need a refund could not find the meeting place and 10 minutes late to elephant half of us waited at entrance and no one there was at the entrance and couldn’t get in

We arrived for our tour and they told us our booking had been cancelled and we could be booked on another tour in four hours. We asked for a refund instead, which was provided but it was very frustrating. We still went to the pantheon by ourselves and later saw someone who had been on the tour and assured us we missed nothing…. Perhaps our booking being cancelled, although annoying was a god send

The tour and our guide was great! We chose a small group tour which was really worth it. Our guide was so knowledgeable and tried to keep us in shade as much as possible (it was so hot outside!). My friend was the one who really wanted to go to the Colosseum and I was glad we went. My only small criticism was we had a hard time finding the office. It was probably more of the taxi drivers fault for where he dropped us but we to walk around a lot to finally find the office. Maybe better instructions?
