Fantastic Golf Cart Tour with Alex

We had a fantastic time on this golf cart tour with Wheel Tours. It was such a fun and relaxed way to explore Rome as a family, and we got to see so many of the city’s highlights, including St. Peter’s Square and the Colosseum. The stop for delicious gelato near the Pantheon was a great bonus. Our guide and driver, Alex, was absolutely brilliant. He was warm, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories and facts throughout the tour. He really made the experience what it was. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour.

We booked 3 different independent shore excursion private tours in 3 ports. This one ended up being our favorite. We ended up with a tour guide (Kate) and a driver when we were expecting only a driver. After discussing with us what our priorities were, they were able to prepare an awesome itinerary that required minimal walking in the super hot weather, while allowing us to see many sites. It seems they may outsource to other vendors, so it's probably by luck who we got.

Absolutely fantastic!!

Maggie was an exceptional tour guide and her experience and knowledge was outstanding. She was so engaging and made an effort to include the younger participants of the group which was nice. The tour itself was fantastic - even our 16 year old that didn't want to go initially said it was the best thing he did during our trip! A pitstop tour of the major highlights, skip the queue tickets and access to the Basilica via an exclusive entrance from the Sistine Chapel was worth every penny. Allowed us to visit the main attractions without wandering aimlessly, which was especially appreciated during the July heatwave. 5 ⭐ from us!!

Excellent tour. Great details and backstories were shared. I badly sprained my ankle a couple of weeks before this trip and our guide was careful to watch my pace and adjusted his timing to fit my speed. It was expensive but in my mind worth every penny. We wouldn’t have gotten 1/10 out of the experience if we had tried to do it on our own.

Fantastic tour!

Lisa was a fantastic guide and great with our kids. She was very knowledgeable! We took this tour on our first full day in Rome and it was a great way to relax while getting the lay of the land. Lisa stopped at a few places we never would have explored on our own and we were able to get out and spend time at various stops and take pictures. We would highly recommend!

This company went above and beyond — hands down the best tour we took. Their communication was impeccable from start to finish, making sure every detail of the experience was amazing. Our tour included visiting Pompeii, driving around Amalfi coast and stopping for pictures, dining as well as shopping. This was a small group tour, only 6 of us in total and very well managed! it sucks that you have to pay such a crazy amount for something that the colosseum sells for much less. but for what is worth, this works, we were able to have our underground tour. This company plans the forum tour, then they leave you on your own to go to the colosseum and meet with the colosseum tour lead (not part of this company). Our spanish Forum tour with Tricia was very good.
