Great Vatican Tour

Absolutely amazing experience. The tour was better than advertised! Our tour guide, Manuela, was simply outstanding. She had a deep knowledge of the Vatican and all sites we visited. She did a good job of balancing seeing the sights with need to navigate thru numerous groups. She also was very helpful and accommodating to our group which had two young kids. She did a great job of explaining the rationale and interesting tidbits about the paintings and other items in the museums. Highly recommend this tour!

The Only Way to See the City

This is the best way to see the city and to stay away from the crowds. Federica was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and fun. Really enjoyed the city sights, the traveling by golf cart and we learned a lot. Federica gave us a fantastic tip for a restaurant in the evening which was a highlight of the trip!

Excellent tour of Roman Colosseum and surrounding area.

Serena from Blue Cat Tours provided us with an excellent private tour (just two of us) of the Roman Colosseum, the Forum, and Palatine Hill. We were extremely pleased with our experience. She is very knowledgeable about the history and archaeology of this area and clearly enjoys sharing her knowledge with visitors. Logistics were flawless. She met us in front of the metro stop at the scheduled time and had all our tickets already prepared. This allowed us to skip most of the lines for the three venues. Her English is excellent and she was able to answer our questions as we travelled through the sites. She paced the tour well and adjusted on the fly if we wanted to spend more time in one area and less in another. She also made sure we had opportunities for water breaks and time in the shade as we were in Rome during the July heat wave. She finished up right at the three-hour mark and gave us a great recommendation for a lunch restaurant before she left. I would absolutely recommend Serena and Blue Cat tours for visitors who appreciate the history of this area and want to learn more. I should note that the tour does require a fair amount of walking and has stairs and inclines. The Colosseum does have an elevator but even so, wear comfortable walking shoes and make sure you have appropriate sun protection.

Great tour with Marianna!

Marianna was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable about the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Our tour did not feel long at all, despite very high heat (95°!) Marianna was very warm and personable, looking out for all the partipants to make sure we were hydrated and not overly tired or hot. She found all the shady spots. And at the end, her recommendations for food and gelato were spot on. Well done!

What a great experience!! Efficient and friendly check-in with Cosmos at the meeting place. Our tour guide, Julia was the very best!! She was super informative and fun! She infused the history of the Roman Empire with creative flair. She led with a calm, confident manner. Even though we were on a schedule, you never felt rushed.
