This was a perfect hands-on experience!

This was an amazing hands-on Italian experience. We made an incredible Tiramisu. Then made two different pastas - spinach ravioli and linguine. Throughout, we had Prosecco, red, and white wine. Mike was an amazing teacher and ensured that every dish we prepared was perfect. I wouldn’t bring a child under 13. There is a lot of instruction that must be followed for things to turn out proper.

Italian Pasta Class a Must Do in Italy...

This class was absolutely amazing in every way. First it was reasonable priced for the experience, food and location. The class was in an air conditioned area. Our teacher was so kind and personable. The restaurant where we ate outside was in the beautifully famous Piazza Navona right in front of the Fountain of the Four Rivers. We got a drink, bruschetta, our home made fettuccini with a plethora of home made sauces to choose from and either lemon chino or expresso/coffee at the end. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Rome a must do for any traveler.

Great Roman Pizza Experience

Absolutely a great experience! First, we had a great group that enjoyed each others company (can’t always guarantee that). Second, our guide and teacher was great. He easily explained each step to a group that varied from old to young, experienced to inexperienced. He really helped us understand the process and differences between pizza we get in Italy/Rome versus other places. The location is fairly convenient to most central Rome hotels. Would absolutely recommend taking this class again. If we come back we’d do the pasta class! This is a MUST do activity in Rome

This was such a fun experience! I learned a lot, drank a lot, ate a lot and had a great time. I'm a Solo traveler and this was a great way to spend an early evening, and share a meal with people. The chef was so energetic and fun, and really knew her stuff. She really made the experience! She not only taught us to make pasta, she got everyone interacting in the process and with each other. This was a highlight of my trip!

Eddy, the host with the most!

What a great experience! We attended a cooking class at Coquinaria, near the Vatican, led by Eddy and his team. Eddy was a fantastic host, who guided us through the different recipes with patience and humour. We made two different types of pasta which was cooked with delicious sauces, and the best tiramisu I have ever tasted. We got to eat this at the end with our group. We also had Prosecco, wine and limoncello (soda was provided for the kids). My only constructive feedback for the event was that the workspace felt a little cramped, as we were elbow to elbow with our fellow cooks. But this didn’t really spoil the event. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this class, especially for families, and will do another when I return to Rome-just because it was so much fun! Thanks.

Very fun, highly recommend.

The pasta making, family winery, catacomb tour were all fantastic. Unfortunately, there was a strike on the train that affected our ability to be on time so the transportation to get there became really difficult and expensive. In hindsight, I would recommend getting to the Roma termini early. There is shopping there. Or head to the town early before your pasta making event to explore a little.

A Fantastic Family Experience with Chef Anna!

We had an amazing time at the pizza and gelato making class with Chef Anna in Rome. From the moment we arrived, she made everyone feel welcome and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The pizza making was hands-on and easy to follow, with Anna sharing lots of helpful tips along the way. It was great to make our own authentic Italian pizzas from scratch, and they tasted incredible. The gelato making was just as enjoyable. Learning how traditional Italian gelato is made was fascinating, and of course, tasting the finished product was a real highlight! We did this experience with our children, and they absolutely loved getting involved. Anna was patient, engaging, and made sure everyone, regardless of age or ability, had a great time. If you’re looking for an authentic, interactive experience in Rome that’s suitable for families, couples, or anyone who loves Italian food, we would highly recommend this class. So much fun!

Had a fun after break from the heat and did the cooking class where we made tiramisu and pasta. It was very fun and informative, we are going to take what we learned and have a date night this weekend and recreate what we made. Charolette was our instructor and she was so friendly and informative.

Learn to make the most delicious food! A small adventure to a hidden gem run by wonderful people.

This was a wonderful experience! Yes Viator has the incorrect point marked on the map. However the school tells you this in all its communication. You can take the metro to Laurentina, which is what we did. David was our driver and was there as expected and we had wonderful conversations on our way to and from the school. Now, onto the class! We can’t say enough about this fantastic experience!! We had Chef Michele and he was informative and entertaining. We learned about how to make pasta dough then we made two types of pasta: cavatelli and fettuccine. The pastas were made with a red sauce for the cavatelli and simple “alfredo” sauce for the fettuccine… no cream as we are used to in the USA. Both were amazing. Making of the pizza was another highlight and the favorite for my younger children. It was delicious! Easily the most delicious pizza we had during our tour of Italy. They provide wines, from a local winery, and plenty of cold water included with the class. You will not leave hungry or thirsty! Such an amazing experience with wonderful people who love what they do. We hope you are up for a bit of an adventure and visit this beautiful hidden gem.

Italian home cooking doesn’t get any better than this!

What a wonderful experience learning the traditional methods of making pasta and sauces in the home of Andrea and Milvia. We learned how to make 3 different sauces, make the pasta dough, cut fettuccine by hand and use the pasta machine to cut spaghetti. Andrea also showed us how to make tortellini, ravioli and penne. We filled up on all the pasta and sauce we made paired with delicious wine and it was an absolutely amazing meal. Would highly recommend this class to anyone and everyone!

This was the best experience for anyone looking to try a local cooking class in Rome. We’ve been to Italy several times and can’t believe we just found this. Learning to make fettuccini, ravioli and tiramisu was so fun! Our host Eduardo was funny as well as informative. Highly recommend to those looking. Place is a little difficult to find so just look for the big staircase and walk right up. It’s on the right once you get up the flight. Enjoy! Ciao
