Smit was an amazing and excellent tour guide!!!! He was very passionate and knowledgeable about the cuisine. He made the experience personable and we met some wonderful people in our tour group. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is a foodie! All the food offerings were extremely tasty and I really enjoyed the information provided for each tasting experience. This was such a fun and unforgettable way to start our vacation.

Our guide Abid was very knowledgable. He kept the flow between restaurants at a good pace. Did not like that there were no toilets available until the first hour of the tour. I think the guide should have given us a heads up on this at start of tour. Maybe start tour group where toilets are near. Otherwise, everything was very well run.

What a great experience. We tried food from places that have been open for more than 100 years. Plus, so goodies that only locals know. Highly recommend. And I can’t forget our lively tour guide Ann. She even showed us some secrets that you can only know if you go on the tour. Go on the tour before seeing the Vatican. You’ll know what I mean after.

Sila was wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. I appreciated her not only showing us around but also giving a history of the neighborhood. She also was really thoughtful on the fly (for example, we got hit with a traditional brief spell of Rome rain and she quickly pivoted to a nearby storefront for us to stay dry while she went to get the “surprise” treat). I also deeply appreciated her advice as an Italian (particularly the advice about taxis and how to manage if you choose to use one!). Also as a note, I traveled with my mother (who blessedly has reached the other side of 70) and she (being averagely able-bodied for her age) was able to walk the tour without issue.

An amazing experience. Loana was so nice and so welcoming. She gave so many tips about traveling in Rome and avoiding tourist traps. The wine and food was amazing but I wouldn’t have appreciated it without Loans’s insight.
