Great tour

Great 2 hour tour covering the Colosseum, Palatine and the Forum. Our guide, Niccolò from WalksDevour, was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, giving us many interesting facts about life in the time of the gladiators. I would recommend good footwear- trainers or similar- as the paths can be slippery and uneven in parts. There is also a fair bit of walking (some uphill) so having water with you, and a hat when it’s hot, is sensible.

Our leader was Nick and he was wonderful! Great sense of humor, excellent grasp of an enormous amount of information. Definitely have to be able to handle stairs and rough paving, we were lucky to start early and have a bit of a break in the high temps Rome had been experiencing.

We had a great time on our walking tour in Rome last night! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a wonderful job sharing the history and stories behind the places we visited. The tour was well organized and a great way to see the city at night while learning more about Rome. We enjoyed exploring beautiful areas and seeing some of the famous sights illuminated after dark. The atmosphere of Rome in the evening made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a fun and informative tour, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome!

Great tour to learn more about the history of the families that lived in Rome. I wish I had gone on the tour at the beginning of my trip so that I could visit some of the places that were referenced during the tour. I would recommend this tour for a different but informative experience.

Crypts & Catacombs: Great Guide and Interesting Experience, but a Longer Tour Than Expected

I booked this tour with some friends, and while I’m glad I experienced it with them, it probably isn’t something I would have chosen to book on my own. Our guide, Liv, was fantastic. She had so much energy, was very knowledgeable and was genuinely great at her job. If crypts, catacombs and this side of Roman history interest you, I think you’ll really enjoy the experience. The biggest thing to be aware of is the length. Our tour ended up lasting around four hours, which was longer than I expected based on the advertised duration. By the end, it felt like a pretty long excursion. I’m happy I did it once and thought Liv did an excellent job, but personally, it probably isn’t a tour I would book again. That’s more about my own interests than the quality of the tour itself!

It was a wonderful way to quickly see many of the sights in the area. We were only in Rome for 36hrs, so during the day we saw the Pantheon & Trevi Fountain, and then saw so much of the rest on the tour. Vespa + side car is such a fun way to hop around to the different areas! The guide was also incredibly kind and knowledgeable.

Perfect for the summer

The experience was very enjoyable. I got to discover new information about the history of Rome , both ancient and modern (with a focus on the ancient as the title suggests), through our excellent guide Joan. He was informative and friendly and made us all feel at ease. Hearing about the history helped me understand this city much better so I would recommend this tour. Also this part of rome is magical at night especially if you want to avoid the heat and the crowds.

We had Georgia as our...

We had Georgia as our tour guide for the three sites and she was perfect, very funny, so knowledgeable and kind. We were visiting in 38° heat and she was able to find us shaded spots away from the busy crowds in order to give us information. It was such an immersive atmosphere being in the sites and Georgia’s stories were really brought to life via her usage of printed photos. The tour lasted around 3.5 hours but it absolutely flew by with the magic of Georgia’s storytelling and knowledge. A brilliant trip and would highly recommend, and thank you again to Georgia for making it so fantastic.

Amazing Experience!

This 3 in 1 package is a steal! Being able to have access to the Coliseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill was very convenient especially since they’re all in the same vicinity. I will note, they really stick to arrival times so be sure to arrive early for your guide/pick up your tickets. We opted to do the audio guide and it was definitely worth it because the audio guide was so informative and easy to follow along. 10/10 highly recommend for your next trip to Rome.

Our guide, Christine, was excellent. Very knowledgeable as she had a background in art history, had connections with the Vatican granting us additional access. She made smart choices, keeping us out of the sun and gathering us close, presenting us Sistine Chapel info in the air conditioning. She gave us info in a conversational interesting manner. She provided us with some unique facts and some personal experiences. She maneuvered us through the crowds well. Her personality was charming and authentic-I could readily see her as a friend. Only positives here and no negatives! Glad we took this tour-saw many awesome, impressive sights! Would recommend to others for sure!

Sharon is the best tour guide we’ve ever had

We had an amazing experience on the Vatican Skip-the-Line Tour! Our guide was absolutely fantastic—extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history of the Vatican. There is so much to see and take in, and having someone who could explain the history and significance behind everything made the experience so much more meaningful. Our guide kept the tour interesting from beginning to end, answered all of our questions, and pointed out details we never would have noticed on our own. Skipping the long lines was also a huge plus, especially with how busy the Vatican can be. This was easily one of the highlights of our time in Rome. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Vatican!
