Valentina was a wonderful tour guide! She was knowledgable and told stories that were very engaging and helped us to understand the situation at the time. We had slower party members and she took time to let them keep up. She took into account the temperature and helped us into the shade when possible. I see a lot of notes that people didn’t get what they paid for, but there’s a lot of options when you book so you have to be careful what you pick. I’d recommend Valentina for any tour, she’s clearly knowledgable, a good teacher, and very proud of her home!

Safe, fun, and exciting! This tour was absolutely incredible. To visit so many iconic sites by skirting through alleyways and piazzas was amazing. Only a local guide with decades of experience in Rome can guide such an informative tour. I highly, highly recommend this tour if you’re a mid level or higher cyclist. Probably the highlight of my trip to Rome. It’s great to visit these sites during the daylight, but seeing them illuminated in the evening is very, very special. Book it!!!

My tour guide was Silvia and she was very enthusiastic about the city of Rome and its history. She made the experience a lot more engaging and fun with the landmarks she pointed out and fun facts about the city as we passed through points in our itinerary. My family and I had a wonderful 2.5 hour tour with Sharon that started at Piazza Navona and ended at the Colosseum. Sharon was energetic, informative, and fun! While we toured in the last night of the trip, it might be even better at the beginning of a stay in Rome because the tour provides a great overview of attractions that could be visited later in more detail. Don’t hesitate to book this trip. It’s a great value!

Must see! Must grab advance tickets!!

Definitely would recommend purchasing tickets in advance for a visit to the colosseum. The line for those without tickets was very long. Also, just a note, the process is quite interesting. You need to first show your printed ticket (from agent), then show the digital ticket. That’s the first layer, then show paper ticket again with passport (adults). Finally, to gain full entry, show the digital & paper copies for a last scan. Be sure to be on time as I have heard the colosseum is strict about time (little buffer but not much). Overall the colosseum is amazing! Definitely a bucket list stop!!

Interesting tour, and a way to see Rome at night feeling a little more secure. Our guide Semi was terrific. Informative and energetic. Also, he started the tour walking very briskly, and when I asked him to modify his pace for older folks in our group, he was very accommodating. Excellent guide for the tour.
