Great tour - provides history and context without overwhelming

Quick walk around the Colosseum with some history shared along the way. This was very informative and provided some context before entering the arena. The walk inside the Colosseum was 30-45 minutes, but that was all that was needed. More information and history shared, while giving the guests plenty of time to take photos and look around. Final tour into the ruins area (Palatine Hill) was good. Not as exciting as the Colosseum (at least for me), but still worth seeing at least once. Glad we had a tour guide to explain the key points of interest. Our guide was great.

We had such a great time on the Trastevere food tour! Ana was absolutely wonderful—so sweet, funny, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and personal. She brought such warm energy and made sure we were well fed, hydrated ;) & taken care of. We actually got really lucky—although we booked the 6 people max, it ended up being just the two of us, which made it feel like a private experience. It was such a nice touch and made everything even more special. The food was amazing, with a great variety of authentic spots we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. Everything felt thoughtfully curated, and Ana shared fun stories and local insights along the way that made it even better. If you’re looking for a food tour that feels genuine, delicious, and full of personality, this is definitely the one to book. Highly recommend!

The Roman Food Tour is not to be missed! Best food tour & guide!

This was an amazing food experience! Our guide, Vincenzo, was the BEST! He was so knowledgeable and thoroughly explained all of the foods, oils, wines, etc. we were tasting. We went to 5 different locations and offered wine at each one. We were cancelled from another food tour because my husband has a shellfish allergy. They cancelled us the day before we arrived in Rome. I didn't think I'd find another tour with such short notice but found the Roman food tour. I was hoping it would be good. I have to say, all 3 of us in my family were super impressed and loved every aspect of it. There's no way the other tours are this good, diversified or exquisite. And I have to say again, Vincenzo took it to another level with his food and wine knowledge. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Very Good Walking Tour

Our guide, Caitlin, was very good. She was on time, easy-to-find, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. We took this tour right after arriving in Rome, which was a great way to get a feel for the city and see some of the major highlights. Even with an organized agenda, Caitlin was able to work in some things of interest to us-- like stopping for a little refreshment! The price of the ticket is minimal, so leave a tip! Even though I had read that in other reviews, there was never any pressure to tip. Ciao!

Day walking tour of Rome.

The tour is great. Our tour guide is very friendly and of course very knowledgeable on the Roman history. It was very crowded at the Vatican but he stayed with us to complete the Sistine chapel tour. Nice guy. Tour is good, but you need to have good stamina to stand almost whole day and walk. Fortunately weather is good. Not too hot and no rain. Great spring weather.

Fantastic Rome experience

Great tour. Kate was a fantastic guide, patient and knowledgeable. She also did her best to work through a ticket issue with one of the people on our tour. She explained things very well and shared a lot of knowledge. Took us to parts in an order to avoid the crowds the best we could. Definiely recommend this tour.

Brilliant tour

I had an incredible experience on this tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The sites themselves are breathtaking, but what truly made the day unforgettable was our guide, Andy. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a real gift for bringing ancient history to life. His storytelling made it easy to imagine what Rome looked and felt like thousands of years ago. Great Tour with Sam!

The reviews that this is technically a free tour is accurate, but I think booking through Viator gives the guides a good idea of scheduling. Worth the booking in my opinion. We checked in with the guide, and once we were all there we were off on our tour. Sam was our guide during the tour and he was great! I am a huge history nerd and learned so much about the Jewish Ghetto during the tour! I loved it! Please remember to tip during the tour since the guides rely on the tips!
