The guide was fantastic, and the tour itself was great for giving some history as well as helping understand the ways to move through the city without issue.
A solid walking tour of Rome - note that you only spend 5-10 mins per stop so think of it more as an introduction to the city rather than an in-depth tour.
Great trip, with lots of interesting learnings about the history. Mary was a fantastic guide and made the experience even more enjoyable!
It was a nice 2-hour long tour. Guide Dan was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting info about Rome.
Is just walking points that you can do on your own. If you do a bit of research you could save your money.

Sharon was very knowledgeable and entertaining. She kept is off of the hot streets the best she could on a hot day. Highly recommend!

We like the organized tours but probably could easily do it on your own.
Was a little disappointed it didn’t include Spanish steps. Guide was good.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. They were a native English speaker and easy to understand. We saw a lot of the major attraction in Rome in an efficient time frame, with plenty of time to check trevi fountain, grab gelato, and take a bathroom break. I would do this tour again! She stopped us in shady locations but didn't keep us standing for long periods.
Anna was an excellent tour guide with great enthusiasm and passion for Rome. We learned a lot and would recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore some key highlights of the city

We had Dan as our tour guide, and it was truly a unique experience. He showed us so many hidden gems throughout Rome that we never would have discovered on our own. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and shared helpful tips for making the most of our time in the city. He also gave us recommendations for day trips, local food spots, free attractions, and other must-see places. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome!

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and I loved the background info and she had pictures to help explain the history. I learned things I would have not known without taking the tour. I would highly recommend tours with Carpe Diem.

We booked a private tour with our family of 14. Sharon not only showed us the classic sights such as Piazza Nova, the Spanish Staird, the Trevi Fountain etc. but also shared lots of interesting insights with is. We had an absolutely charming, entertaining and informative tour with her. We can’t recommend her highly enough and hope everyone enjoys the tour as much as we did.

Great initial introduction in to the history of Rome and its characters and the amazing buildings and architecture. Our tour guide Tsion was very knowledgable and very passionate. Allow time to get to the meeting point as there are a few closed pavements at the moment.

Sharon was the most wonderful tour guide! She deftly moved us through the crowded streets of Rome (on Good Friday with a new pope), and showed us many of the important spots, as well as several "off the beaten path" locations that only a local would know. She also gave information about how to get tickets at the bigger sites, rattling times off from memory. We booked through Viator, who made it very easy. Thanks Sharon! :)
