This is a great way to see the Colisseum inside without spending a lot of hours. The express 1 hour tour is the perfect length and you get to see the arena, gladiator’s gate and all inside the Colisseum and learn so much at the same time. We felt very satisfied with this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone! Our guide was Rita and she was wonderful! She told us all about the Colisseum, spoke great English and was just the perfect guide. We also toured with 2 more people who just happened to be from our previous home state. Just amazing!

Serena was great and gave us an express tour of the Colosseum! She took us to the first and second levels, provided history, and painted an image of daily life in Rome. She explained the daily operation at the Colosseum and disentangled myth from what reality was. We enjoyed the tour and also got Palatine Hill tickets to attend afterwards.

Such an incredible day. Silvia was a wealth of knowledge and handled the crowds like a pro, which made the whole thing stress-free. I loved that she could actually answer our random questions about the construction instead of just sticking to a script. We saw everything we wanted to (Arena floor was a highlight!) without feeling rushed or bored. Definitely worth the booking to avoid the headache of navigating it yourself

Ask for Giulia!!! We had an amazing private tour thru the Gate and onto the arena floor. Giulia was knowledgeable, entertaining, and accommodating. She really knew her stuff and conveyed stories and facts beautifully. She made certain to understand our plans afterwards and provided us tickets to the Forum and Palatine Hills. She also gave us an outstanding pizza recommendation a short walk away. Outstanding!

This was great if you want the history of rhe colosseum and visuals without having to deal with the hoards of people, crowds, and long tours. We got exactly what we needed and lots of photos along the way. Our guide was lovely and painted a clear photo of what to do. The best part is that you still get the tickets to the Roman forum and palatine hill after but this is on your own time.

This tour does not cover the upper floors and is a rushed experience. Don't book this. Look for ones that cover arena as well as upper floors to make it worth your money.

This was a great tour to quickly get the highlights on the Colosseum especially if you are visiting by cruise ship for the day. Travel into and out of Rome takes up half of the the day so we wanted something that was quick. Our guide was also very knowledgeable on the history.

Fabio was a wonderful tour guide and we would highly recommend him. Our only disappointment was that the Forum entry pass was not easy to use due to the long line and small entry point.

Great tour of the Colosseum arena floor with a wonderful tour guide, Fabrizzio (spelling?) who was SO interesting, well spoken and knowledgeable. We learned the history of the construction, but also how the Colosseum was used for social control. Good news, over 80% of the Gladiators made it out alive. We were SO happy to be in a small group of six and not a huge group of 80 like we saw in other groups. Booking the tour and communication leading up to it was also excellent. A favorite tour on our whole trip!

Enjoyed this tour immensely. It is pretty quick, an hour at most, but the guide was incredibly informative and getting to enter through the gladiator doors and walk around on the arena floor was incredible. There was only us and one other couple on this tour so it was easy to ask questions, hear the details and experience the Colosseum without the crowds.

Easy fun tour and allows you to get into the place quickly. Nice tour of the Arena level. You only see the Arena level though. A more extensive tour would be fun. Keep in mind it gets hot if going in summer. We scheduled this for 5:30. Later the better

Small group, ended up being a private tour, just the tour guide and my partner and myself. It was very personalized and we felt like we were able to access things that the general public doesn’t get to see. A great amount of information and the best pictures ever taken! Five stars!

Was taken to the center of the coliseum and that's it. A lot to explore and see but just stayed in one spot and had to leave immediately after tour. Disappointed
