This tour had some wonderful Jewish cuisine in a really interesting part of Rome. Our guide, Bruno, was very knowledgable about the history of Rome and the dishes we shared. I would recommend this to our to family and friends without hesitation.

The guide was excellent. However this is more of a street food tour vs a food tour. It would be helpful for the description to be updated. As a street food tour - it would have been a great experience. Just not what I expected.

A must do while in Rome to understand the more recent history of its people in the Jewish Ghetto. Farbrizia did an excellent relating and bringing to life some of the tragic historical details. On the lighter side we enjoyed the food tour and tasted so many things we would not have encountered on our own. Thank you.

Fran was a great guide. Knowledgeable, patient, and very friendly. Enjoyed this tour a great deal even though it was 39 degrees out. Food was great. I would definitely recommend this tour!

The tour guide was Frabricia. We were 3 older couples. Two walked slow, the third walked faster. The tour guide and the fast couple were walking 20 yards ahead of the other two couples the whole time. We were one of the slow couples; the other slow couple were 89 and 90 years old, and were struggling to keep up. I finally told the tour guide that this is a group tour, and she should keep the group together, not walk ahead and give the faster couple a private tour. She was sorry for the "misunderstanding", and said she wasn't talking about anything important with the fast couple. I called BS. Group tour 101, keep the group together. Address the whole group. As far as the content of the tour, for what we heard and for the parts we stayed for (we bailed after the pasta stop), it was OK. At night, it's nice as the area isn't as crowded, but needed to be careful as the cobblestones were slick from the rain that day. Note: This tour is a tour of a neighborhood called the "Jewish Ghetto". It is not a Jewish tour, per se. The food is not kosher. There is no visit inside the synagogue, etc. (We knew that, but the fast couple didn't, apparently.)

Our guide did a fantastic job. Not only was the food discussed, but we also got a lot of history. She was genuinely interested in sharing good information as well as answering any questions. The only thing I would suggest would be to have a handout of the eating spots we visited and location because we wanted to go back to go back for the pizza and were not able to remember where it was located. other than that, it was great

We had great time and Andrea was fantastic guide. We had the evening tour, and went through various areas getting historical background. There was quite enough food and drinks available that will leave you full! These group tours are usually what you make of it, so strike up conversations with those in your group.

This food tour was fabulous and a wonderful way to get to learn about a less-traveled slice of Rome!!! Not only was the food delicious (and plentiful) but the area we toured was so interesting. Our guide was able to integrate the history of the area with the food we were eating. He also allowed us to engage with the others on the tour. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. It was very memorable and a highlight of our visit to Rome!

Andrea, our guide, was amazing.
As we walked through the Ghetto, he told us about the history of the neighborhood. His knowledge of the area and beyond the Ghetto intrigued us all. The food was a gastronomic delight especially the multiple different pastas. If you enjoy walking, listening, tasting good Italian food and wine of course, then take the tour and see if Andrea is your guide.well worth it.

No history of the Jews who lived in the district during the 20th century. Did not mention the memorial plackets on ground either. Only ancient history was offered. Aside from the first two dishes, the same food available around all of Rome was presented.

The Jewish holocaust was brought to the forefront when the bronze squares in the pavement in front of doorfronts. To see how many families died in the homes. Brought me to tears.
The rest of the history was great to learn about also.

Maria was outstanding! So friendly and knowledgeable not only of the best Roman food, but of the history of the food and the areas in which we visited. There was only the four of us so we got a very intimate view of food and culture. We had seven courses, which was very filling. So glad we did this tour. Can’t say enough good things about our guide.
