- A specific dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
- A fair amount of walking is involved, and there will be stairs between different levels. We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any walking impairments that require special assistance on our group tours. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages.
- Mandatory: Everyone is required to carry a copy of the identification page of their passports on all tours. A photo of the first page of your passport saved on your smartphone works as well.

Very informative and thorough tour. We saw so much and Kate kept us moving without feeling rushed. The small group size was great for keeping everyone together. Kate was charming and helpful and answered all questions. She was full of good stories and pointed out many things that one would miss by going on their own. In addition, having the skip the line and special tour guide access means we maximized our time there with no unnecessary waiting around. We went in January which was ideal for temperature and crowds. This tour involves a lot of walking and some stairs.

Liked seeing all the stuff. More info in the beginning on keeping our tickets. A member of Our party misplaced his and had to go buy another one to get into the museum. We had a very nice time. We went through the catacombs afterwards. We went to the Swiss guards and received tickets for the Papal blessing on Wednesday. We are here two more weeks until the 26th of November. Would like to go on another tour. Do you have any for the Papal blessing? Thanks. My girlfriend wentvon one where they met Pope Francis. Thank you.

This tour was well worth the price. "Skip-the-line" really saves time and it was even better that that we were in the first group of the day. There were still a lot of people inside, especially in the Sistine Chapel, but if we had come in later it would have been wall-to-wall and hard to see anything, judging by the very long lines outside. Our tour guide was great (unfortunately I have forgotten her name) and hit the museum highlights well. This was in October, so I think this tour would be even more essential during the "high season" summer months.

Sara was an amazing guide and had a few good stories to share with us. Suggest doing Skip The Line as early as you can. The lines get longer, though out the day. We went at 8am and were glad we did. We loved it.

Sara provided us with a wonderful tour. She showed us the highlights & told us much about the history of the paintings & sculptures. I especially liked having about 20 minutes to admire the Sistine Chapel. We would definitely book this tour again.

This tour was 100% worth it. Our guide was super knowledgeable and provided an entire history of the Vatican and Papacy as we were traveling through the city-state. The small group size was perfect as our guide provided undivided attention to all of us. Would go back if we could!

Our tour guide DENNIS was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable . What an amazing history lesson!! Our small group tour (6) was perfect. Gave each of us direct attention and made sure we all throughly capture this deep and powerful experience . I truly feel we all got more then we expected. Only one thing, DENNIS seem almost godly as he guided us thru the Colossem in the rain, he promised the rain would stop and apologized for the rain several times...Well.... the rain never stopped , but we didn't even notice!! I must say that the small private tour is definitely the way to go. After getting off a cruise and spending 10 days getting herded like cattle on cruise excursions , some personal attention was very nice.
The tour is about 3.5 hours and went quickly. Our tour guide Sara was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, patient, personable, yet kept us moving to avoid the big tour groups (40+) and the regular crowds. She advised approximately 30,000 people come through the Vatican daily, so booking the earliest start time is what we did and highly recommended. According to Sara, it would take 2 avoid to properly see everything in the Vatican and I believe it. Be ready for a beautiful overwhelming experience and have your cameras/ phones fully charged. I took over 600 pictures on a Nikon, and my wife about the same on her phone.

We really wanted a small group for our visit. The lines and crowds were unbelievable at the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. However, we had Isabella. She was a wonder. Our group was 8 people and she got us to the beginning of every line. We really had no wait for anything, even security. Isabella was an Art History major and was a wealth of information. She was very personable and interacted continuously with our group. Truly cannot say enough about this experience. It was great!

Terrible experience. We were 15 mins late which was our fault. Understanding the show must go on, there was no point of contact or ability to access the tickets we had paid for to enter the Vatican and either try to catch up or guide ourselves. The guide refused to contact us to offer any advice. Yes, it was our fault we were late however other tours have offices or booths to meet at and / or adjust if your plan is thrown off slightly. Better options out there

Unfortunately, the tour had already started 5 minutes late while waiting for you. However, when you mentioned needing an additional 15 minutes, it was not possible to delay any further.
Please understand that the entry tickets have a specific time window, and if not used within that period, they expire, and museum security won’t allow entry. We regret that this led to you missing out on the experience, and we appreciate your understanding.

You don't enter before the time. You enter the museum's opening hours. That's a lot of people in a small space. It is difficult to enjoy the works. You go through everything quickly. The guide was friendly and did her best to minimize the problems.

Had a wonderful time, out guide was top notch. She explained about the various areas of the Vatican and pointed out many highlights. Would definitely recommend this for those who wish to truly experience the Vatican the right way and not just run through. I highly recommend this tour especially with Eleonora. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all things vatican! We would have never leaned a quarter of what Eleonora taught us on our own. The vatican is huge, there is so much to see and do. It's difficult to know where to spend time and when to move on. Eleonora did a great job explaining as we moved through, spending time at the main points of interest but also pointing out and discussing the other areas and art as well. Thanks again!

The museum is huge, so it was very helpful to go through with a guide. We also appreciated that it included the Sistine chapel and St. Peter basilica and we were able to avoid lines.

Our tour guide was Sarah who was very knowledgeable and kind. We easily found the merino point and the tour was on time. We had 15 minutes in the Sistine Chapel and the tour was a small group of 10. We were able to visit the Vatican Museum and St Peters Basilica without any waiting.

Do not do this tour. It was awful. And expensive. Just avoid the Vatican altogether. The guide tried her best but spent at least 45 minutes reading the info boards to us, which we could have done ourselves. We saw very little art but spent way too long in a map gallery which was super boring. The guide provided no new insights or even interesting commentary on what she was showing us. The crowds were unbelievable and exhausting. Can’t stress this enough, avoid the Vatican, save your money, find a quiet church to explore than go and get a cocktail.

Booked this tour the night before (bad planning on our part lol) but was well worth it!! Our tour guide was amazing and was knowledgable! Walking through ourselves would have been overwhelming and included waiting in lines all day long. Taking a guided tour was the best decision, you get to learn about all the amazing artifacts you are looking at and learn about all the history itself; would not have done it any other way. If you are on the fence just book it, you won't regret it!

Sara was amazing! This was easy to find the group and entry. Small group of only about 6-8 people. She was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time for photos and looking in the Sistine Chapel.
