Excellent way to explore the local foods and drinks of Trastevere! Manuela was an excellent tour guide, striking the perfect balance of sharing information and fun facts while still allowing the group to converse with their own parties or others on the tour. The 3 hour schedule may seem long, but each stop was well worth it with PLENTY of food and wine flowing. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Rome and wanting a taste of local cuisine in a unique neighborhood. And if you can - request Manuela!!

A wonderful experience learning about Italian food and drink culture! This was our first day in Rome, so this experience guided us through our dining experience in Rome. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about Italian cuisine!

We enjoyed the tour & learning about Travestere. Our guide JP was great. Our only complaint would be the quality of the food & wine. We've been on food tours in other cities where it's been much higher. With that said, we'd still recommend the overall experience!

Third food tour in Rome. The Pratti food tour with unlimited wine was cheaper and so much more fun, if I’m being honest. The other Trevestare one was more informational about the neighborhood and had more food options. This was our least favorite one but, it was still good. The guide just seemed like he was working vs showing around friends which the other guides made us feel like we were with a local friend showing us all their favorite spots.

The experience was great - it was an excellent opportunity to see the neighborhood and get a true feel of the Rome life. The instructions for finding the tour guide were horrible. The address was incorrect making the guide difficult to find.

We had a small party of 6 led by. Mattea a great roman guide through the maze of Travestre.
From one place to another Mattea explained the history, diversity and culture of the various foods and drink we experienced. The final stop included the best Carbonara I've ever tasted and genuine Gelato.

Devour tours is the best food tour company. They deliver the biggest bang for your money. Great selection of non-touristy places, excellent food selection, great wine. Very well informed guide who was very happy to show us around and was very proud of the local food scene.

The food was amazing everywhere we went. This was the second of the two food tours we were on. This one the guide explained pairings with wine, the culture of the people as it relates to food and drink. This is another must do tour

This food & wine tour was a great way to get acquainted with the Trastevere neighbourhood, which is very family oriented! Our guide Chiara was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun. The food was delicious and we finished the tour feeling full and happy. Definitely we would recommend this to anyone visiting Rome.

This tour was packed with great food, drinks and a lot of knowledge about Italian food. Our guide Mattia C. was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to spend our evening with. Lots of fun. Our small group of 9 was a perfect number. If I had one comment to make it would have been nice to have a bit longer at some of our stops.

This tour was fantastic!! Fernanda was our guide who works in the food industry and lives in the area. She was fun and extremely informative. Out group was only ten people and it was great to meet and spend the evening with them (even went out for drinks with one of the couples after the tour to a couple of bars our guide recommended.). We didn’t have very high expectations for the tour and we were so wrong. Every stop we made was excellent! The aparativo, the wine tasting, the food and gelato were so good. The restaurant we had dinner was in an old convent and was just beautiful. At the end of the tour Fernanda gave everyone her personal list of recommendations for restaurants in Rome and in several other cities in Italy. I can not recommended this tour enough especially if Fernanda is your guide.

There was only 3 of us on the tour, which I assume due to the soaring heat in Rome in month of July. Manuela was our host, she was excellent from start to finish, explaining the history of the region while sampling some nice food & wine.
