Great walking tour. Wear comfortable shoes. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about all our surroundings and the venue of the places we visited for food and drink.

What a wonderful way to start our trip in Rome with a fabulous guide, Monika, through Rome for some delicious local dishes and local wine. We got history lesson with the food pairings! Monika was amazing! Loved it!

Not worth high cost, although our guide was good. Some wine was fine, food not very good. Our group of 4 experienced disappointment in general. We couldn't sit down in searing heat at 2 of the 4 stops

We had a wonderful time getting to know our guide Rose. She was very friendly and insightful. The food was excellent and we had a few food moments that we will go down in our family memories, specifically the fried fish was a highlight. The charcuterie tasting was awesome and the classic Roman meal in Trastevere was also excellent. Wine also flowed so no worries there! Totally recommended!

Monika was amazing and was very knowledgeable on the history of the area and the food. She had references for all ages to relate to and made it such a fun experience. She made sure we were all fed and was cautious of any allergies. The places we stopped at were all amazing and unlikely to be found without the tour. Would definitely recommend!

Great tour guide and interesting bites along the way. One thing, it doesn't end at the meeting place so getting back to your hotel can be a bit more complicated

We have been on several food tours in Rome and this one was definitely not at the top of our list. Sharing meats and cheeses off the same plate with random strangers (no toothpick to use to eat), eating hot fried fish outside in the street when it’s 95 degree, to dinner where the staff could care less you are there- it almost seemed like we were inconveniencing them for being there. Then we walk right next door to a gelato place that had an enormous line- and definitely not the best we’ve had while in Rome. The only silver lining was that our tour guide was a very sweet guy and he did the best he could with what he was given (with those given stops). There are better tours out there- save your money on this one.

We absolutely loved our food and wine tour with Frederica. We planned this for our first evening as we knew we would need something to help keep us awake and orient us to the city. We had 4 stops the first being an excellent salami and cheese with red wine appetizer next was a breaded fish and Prosecco and the best pasta I’ve had at a local restaurant with red and white wine and lastly, some gelato! Our Tour Guide was knowledgeable, kind and we met up with some other great families from the United States on the tour that we had never met before but all of this made for an absolutely wonderful tour and we would definitely do it again!!! The 4 venues we visited were great. First was a deli style with meats and cheeses owned by the same family for several generations, next fried cod restaurant that was also owned by the same family for generations. 3rd sit down meal with pasta and meats and we ended the night with gelato. Our guide, Arvin was informative and made it really fun. All the meals were served with wine and 3rd meal also finished with limencello (sp). There were a total of 12 guests including the guide. Great group of people. Would recommend this tour especially with Arvin.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Iliana, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and what separates good restaurants from the others. We started in a small meat and cheese shop which was excellent. Then we went to a small cafe and had the freshest cod I have ever eaten. Next was a restaurant with 4 courses and then we finished the evening with gelato. Iliana was warm, personable and took time with each of us in this group of 12. She was the true highlight of the evening and she will be a treasured memory for us when we leave Rome.

So. Much. Food. We ate well, we drank well, and the tour guide (Monica) made sure that my teenager was able to get nonalcoholic drinks everywhere we went. We learned about the history of each place, and spent time in a total of four locations. Money well spent – definitely book this tour.

If you want to learn about Roman history while having fantastic food then this is the tour for you. We ate classic meals and the story behind them. Our guide Oscar was able to share his knowledge and it was a great way to kickoff our Italian adventure .

Mateo was amazing!! Showed amazing spots within Rome that we would’ve never found ourselves. There was great fried fish spot on our second stop. The pasta location had one of the best pastas we’ve had in all of Italy. Mateo kept the atmosphere fantastic and lively, while still teaching us about the wonderful food history Rome had to offer.
