Our tour guide Maurice was AMAZING! I seriously can’t compliment him enough. We were only in DC for one day, so we wanted to try and hit as many spots as possible, and this tour did just that! Maurice was super engaging and super knowledgeable. I don’t know how someone can remember that much info! From hidden secrets, fun facts, and bits of history, he knew it all! I walked away with a lot of new information. I really enjoyed how he connected his real life experience into the tour! The DC Monuments by Night...

The DC Monuments by Night tour was good and packed with a lot of information for a three hour window. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about each location and did an excellent job keeping the group organized and on schedule throughout. Around the two hour mark, I started to feel a bit tired, but overall, the experience was definitely worth it. Seeing the monuments illuminated at night added a unique perspective and made the tour feel special. The only downside was the amount of construction in certain areas—it was a bit disappointing to see parts of such historic sites being torn down or altered right in front of us. Even with that, it was still a memorable experience and something I would recommend.

The Perfect Way to See the Monuments at Night

The night tour is a fun and easy way to see DC's most notable attractions! Our guide, Sal was kind, gave informative tidbits along the way, and provided plenty of time for us to get out and walk around to see the monuments up close. He even dropped us off right at our car when it was over! We've taken a couple of different tours over the years, and I felt this one was one of the best - the cart was smooth, the sound system worked great, and it covered the key monuments we were wanting to see!

The tour experience was...

The tour experience was far more than we expected. Chris was well informed on the sites we saw. He did a great job driving us through D.C. and pointing out many attractions with stories accompanying them. We were able to comfortably hop on and hop off at any or all the stops. It was a great way to determine if we wanted to revisit certain locations in the daylight.

5 stars. We had a great experience on the Washington DC Monuments by Moonlight Tour. Our guide, Smiley, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of DC, the monuments, and the surrounding landmarks, but what really stood out was how friendly and engaging he was throughout the entire tour. He kept the group entertained while still providing a lot of interesting historical information. The nighttime views of the monuments were incredible, and the trolley made it easy and comfortable for our family to see a lot in one evening. Highly recommend this tour, and if you get Smiley as your guide, you are in good hands.
