The Absolute Best Tour with Jake
My husband and I are visiting the Grand Canyon for the first time as retirees. I would highly recommend the all-day tour with Jake. He picked us up at our hotel in a comfortable van and took us to so many of the key vantage points on the south rim. He was extremely knowledgeable of the history of the national park, the geology and creation of the canyon, the plants, trees and wildlife of the region. Drinks and snacks were available to enjoy. He made good recommendations of other areas to visit in the area on our own as well. He even through in a little true crime story. We could not have been happier with our tour experience and hope to return again.

Educational canyon tour, loved it!
Incredible tour! We learned about history of the area, geology, local flora and fauna, saw many different formations in the canyon, etc. Everybody got a pair of binoculars to use during the tour stops, incredible views. Eric was a great guide! The sunset view at the end was beautiful, and he had plenty of blankets and hot chocolate to keep warm as the temperatures dropped. Would highly recommend!

Once in a lifetime experience!
One of the absolute highlights of our trip and easily one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. We booked the helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon with Maverick Helicopters and everything about it exceeded expectations. The in-air experience lasted the full 45 minutes. The experience of flying over flat desert terrain and then suddenly dropping into the vastness of the Grand Canyon was unbelievable. It genuinely didn’t feel real at times. The views were stunning from start to finish, and seeing the canyon from the air gives you a completely different perspective than standing at the rim. Our pilot was fantastic. We were especially excited to have a female pilot, and she made the experience even better. She was engaging, informative, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the flight. The helicopter can hold up to seven passengers plus the pilot, but there were only five of us onboard. Everyone had a window view, which made a huge difference. Even the middle seats are designed well for visibility, so we don’t think anyone would feel blocked. (Our two middle seats in the back were empty.) They do weigh passengers beforehand and assign seats for weight distribution, but the process was smooth and professional. I’m claustrophobic and had no issues at all once we were in the air. From check-in to boarding to landing, the entire experience was seamless and well organized. It’s definitely a splurge, but for us it was 100% worth it and something we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. Highly recommend.

Best morning of our vacation
First, everyone should visit the Grand Canyon once in their life if possible, absolutely amazing. What also was amazing was a tour operator. He knew absolutely EVERYTHING about the history of the GC. I believe his name was Jordan, definitely worth every penny of the tour. We were lucky enough to see his raven friends (huge birds!) and the four elk he liked to call the Golden Girls. I do want to mention (as it was listed in one small area, but not the title) that it is a Pink Adventure Tour. We did not see that in our reservation, but it is a lot easier to find if you know this. There are a few other tour companies so it took us a bit to find the one we booked.

Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most popular national parks in the country, drawing more than 4 million visitors each year. Most tourists will walk to the South Rim, take a few pictures, and move on. There are, however, dozens of Grand Canyon National Park tours that offer a different perspective on the massive canyon. Get a big-picture aerial view with a plane or helicopter ride, or go deeper with a hike into the canyon or a boat trip down the river that has been carving its way through the rock for millions of years.
