- This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee this and at times, groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.
- This tour runs year-round and goes ahead rain or shine—even in cold weather—unless conditions are dangerous. Cancellation decisions may be made at the meeting point, and we may delay up to 30 minutes for weather to improve.
- Please arrive as scheduled, dress appropriately for the weather, and check your messages for any updates. Since our electric carts are not heated and are open to the environment, we recommend wearing layers of clothing during colder months.
- Carts accommodate most types of infant seats and we encourage parents to bring their own. We can provide an infant seat, as long as a guest calls us at least 48 hours before the tour and informs us of the age and weight of the infant.
- We can accommodate folding wheelchairs for guests who can transfer into the cart on their own or with assistance. Please note that there is no ramp access, and we are unable to accept motorized or non-folding wheelchairs due to vehicle limitations. Wheelchairs are not provided. If bringing your own, please let us know at the time of booking. All requests are subject to availability.
- The itinerary and its order of stops are subject to change at any time. Monuments visited may change due to local road or monument closure which are beyond our control.
- Your tour covers the National Mall in an all-electric vehicle. We're committed to reducing the environmental impact of vehicle-based tourism in Washington DC, which makes up the vast majority of tours given in this city. Make a "green" difference by seeing the Mall via electric transportation!
- If driving to meeting location, street parking suggested or LAZ Parking Capital One Arena Garage (601 F Street NW) nearby

Excellent overview of the layout of monuments and history. Tour operator Chis was very knowledgeable and accomodating. Drop offs at entrances to Lincoln and MLKing monuments were helpful, including restroom stop. I would definitely recommend this experience, especially to first time DC visitors

Quick lay of the land tour. Our guide was great and told us about each building, memorial, or area in depth. It was a good way to lay out what museums and places we want to visit while we are here.

Do not spend the money. Lots of street closures and we spent an hour driving in a circle. You would think the company would be aware and plan ahead. We left the tour half way. Big mistake booking this. I felt obligated to rip because the tour guide talked about past ropes he received.

We truly had a great time! Our tour guide Joel was WONDERFUL. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to be our tour guide. He was awesome & I highly recommend him. The tour was great. We did a trolly tour the last time my husband and I were in DC but opted for this golf cart one this time around when we brought our son & his girlfriend to DC. We liked this much better than the trolly tour. 10/10

Very efficient way to do a lap around the mall, while learning the history of the city and other cool facts along the way. Great way to start a trip so that you can continue to explore monuments and museums that you learn about along the way. Would definitely recommend for out-of-town guests.

I absolutely loved the DC Monuments and Capitol Hill Tour by Electric Cart! It was the perfect way to see all the major landmarks without the exhaustion of walking or dealing with traffic. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating stories and historical facts that really brought the city to life.
