Did this tour about 10 years ago. Decided to do it again, but at night. Worth it. Tim was a great & knowledgeable tour guide. He knows his stuff and is very personable. The tour was fun, easy to peddle (50 years old), and the best way to see all the monuments. A must do when you go to D.C

Highly recommend! Great way to see a lot of monuments in a short amount of time. Joe had fantastic info and interesting fun facts. We did e-bikes but would have been fine with regular bikes too.

The bike tour was amazing. Had great weather and our tour guide Abby was amazing. Mafe it easy with the e-bike.

I would NOT recommend this tour! I just completed my bike tour on 5/2/2026, I am really unhappy that we were the only ones using e-bikes, when the rest of the group and the guide were all riding regular bikes. it’s very hard to keep up with slow bikes and eventually we turned off the e-bikes because it was so annoying and didn’t even get the e-bike benefit. I think the company should have offered us the ability to downgrade to regular bikes like the rest of the group for a refunded difference.
I did this tour a year ago on e-bikes and it was the best thing ever and I could not recommend it higher.

This was one of the best evening tours I have been on in DC. Typically, my family and I do the double decker tours instead. Riding a bike in DC allows you to have an intimate view of the national mall. ABBY was a great tour guide, very informative and kind. Always ensuring all of us stuck together and kept us at a steady pace so it was enjoyable for anyone's capabilities. Highly recommend this tour of the national mall!!

Thank you so much for this fantastic review!
We’re thrilled to hear this was one of your best evenings in DC—seeing the National Mall by bike really does offer a unique and up-close experience.
Abby will be so happy to hear your kind words. She takes great care in keeping the group together and making sure everyone feels comfortable while still having a fun and informative ride.
Thanks again for the recommendation—we hope to welcome you and your family on another tour soon! 🚲

Really cool experience after walking around the entire day, Joe was an awesome guide to a cool group. He allowed plenty of time for us to roam and gave historical background and context to help bridge the gap of what we forgot in school :) would absolutely recommend evening bike. PS was oddly hot this week, but the even ride was perfect temp!

Thank you for the awesome review!
We’re so glad you enjoyed the evening ride—especially after a full day of exploring. It’s a great way to experience DC from a different perspective.
Joe will be happy to hear your kind words! Giving that mix of time to explore and meaningful context is exactly what we aim for.
And yes… those warmer days can sneak up on you, but we’re glad the evening weather made for a perfect ride 😊
Thanks again for the recommendation—we hope to see you on another tour soon! 🚲

Educate yourself about the site first.
Disorderly hand out. My bike needed work. It was shifting gears by itself making it difficult to ride.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your feedback—we’re sorry to hear about your experience.
It’s disappointing to hear that the bike had issues during your ride, as we always aim to provide well-maintained equipment. We’ll be sure to share this with our team so it can be addressed.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the organization of the tour and will take this into account as we continue to improve the experience.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Our guide, Blake, was ready and able to answer ALL of our questions. It was such a great way to see so many of the monuments.

Tour guide was super informative and patient. Didn’t rush anyone and it was a relaxing and fun way to see DC! Highly recommend!
Tiffany_W, Nov 2025
Our guide was top notch, Albert. He taught us a lot, was fun, accessible, and checked in with us regularly.
Gave 4 stars purely bc the equipment team didn’t orientate us to our e-bikes and that took a bit of time and Albert to give us instruction.

We loved this tour! All my five kids ages 15-4 had a great time. The 4 year old rode on an attachment bike behind my husband and she loved it! We did it at night and it was the best time to see all the monuments lite up. Abby was awesome and gave a brief but educational explanation of all the monuments and then let us walk around. I would tell everyone to book this tour. It’s 3 hours so eat before but the route was so easy and flat/doable for any age or biking level.

Awesome evening on bikes viewing the Monument mall and many memorials. Safe, fun, and beautiful evening lighting.
Erica_J, Oct 2025
Great way to see all the monuments. Our tour guide Joe went above and beyond what was listed on the itinerary. It would be hard to safely cycle through so many places when new to the city. My teen daughter had a lot of fun too.
Alison_L, Oct 2025
Definitely a must for your visit! Best way to see the monuments. Joe was an awesome guide and took great care of us!
Hortencia_T, Oct 2025
I would recommend the bike ride experience. we booked our experience for 2:30 in the afternoon. I would recommend you are familiar with a bike and it would be helpful if you knew how to change gears due to some inclines during the ride. Our tour guide Joe gave us lots of good information and we covered a lot of ground in three hours. The afternoon time had lots of pedestrian congestion, and at times it was a little difficult to maneuver through people. Maybe the nighttime or early morning would be less congested. The Unlimited Biking company worked with us when we had to reschedule a night ride due to rain. This is a great way to see the monuments and not be exhausted at the end from all the walking.

Amazing tour. Stunning at night. No need to be an experienced bike rider, the bike paths are fabulous.
Maureen_K, Oct 2025

Matt was such an amazing tour guide. Kept us entertained even in rain. He went above and beyond. He even did some extra monuments for us. Highly recommend. We would definitely do this tour again in a heart beat!
Deanne_Z, Sep 2025
Good quick overview of the monuments with a brief history lesson you wouldn’t get on your own! Benham was a great guide, and weather was perfect.
Alina_C, Sep 2025
It was really fun and our guide Joe was a hoot. I would recommend for anyone (as long as you have beginner bike skills). You get to see all of the monuments much quicker than walking and easier than driving with less people because its at night.
DinaGoode, Sep 2025

My son and I took this tour and found it to be the best decision to see monuments around DC! You will see sites you never knew were there! Our guide was wonderful, he ensures everyone’s safety and gave bits of history that aren’t readily known. We recommend this to anyone visiting DC who wants to see the monuments in a unique way! The FDR monument, which we didn’t know about, was our favorite!
Ruth_T, Jul 2025
