We could not download live tracking so therefore very hard to know where the trolleys were, also we paid extra for Arlington cemetery however didn’t know it was a different trolley so therefore missed out on doing this
Also at 15.05 a trolley went past our stop whilst we were in having lunch then another at 15.10 which we also missed then the next one not til 15.50
The drivers on the other hand were exceptional very professional and friendly

Driver skipped by us at 9 something. It was 10:30 by the time they had to circle back. This was our second day, to finish up on some sites, but was disappointing! We wanted to be out of DC early, but that was off the table after the mixup. We paid extra to come back today.

The trolly passed right by us without stopping twice at a pick up point. We ended up walking over 8 miles on the tour. It does not drop off by the attraction just in the vicinity. For the air & space museum it dropped off at the exit and we had to walk around the building to the entrance. No drop off at the Washington Monument. You will be doing quite a bit of walking in DC

This on off trolly is a great way to see key points. The only thing I would do differently is do any museum on a different day. It takes up a lot of the time and the trolly only runs from 9 to 5:30. We also could not get to the stop at 9 because our gps was taking us to roads that were blocked off. So we had a late start. Not knowing the area made it hard to maneuver until we were actually on the bus. Great trip though.

The Hop on Hop Off tour worked well. The drivers provided additional information about the sites which was useful. The shuttle in Arlington was especially helpful.
Our only issues were communications about when the service stopped for the day (conflicting explanations), and about the pricing for adding an additional day (not clear).

Many stops easy access on and off sometimes you have to wait for quite a while in between pick ups. All drivers were very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining what we were seeing.

Every stop is a drop off and you have to wait 20 minutes for another trolley. It’s a little confusing in the ad. It reads as if you stop for pictures and then move on in the same trolley.

It was fabulous! We dealt with JUNIOR and he bent over backwards to make things right for us! All the drivers were excellent and so informative. We were very disappointed the first day because DC is so crazy with traffic and little parking that it took us until 2:00 pm to even get to Union Station to start, so JUNIOR comped us next day tickets and we finished the tour!!
Suggestions: signs are hard to find for trolley “drop on/off” spots and should be bigger and better marked, with exact addresses for GPS sent to ticket holders. We found out later to scan the QR code on the paper map to see when a bus was arriving. A BIG HELP!! We also loved HOLLYWOOD.
Also, we never would’ve made the tour if not for JAMES, a driver, Mr. T, and MAY, the trainer! Talk about wonderful human beings!! ❤️❤️❤️ When you hired these ppl, you struck GOLD!

I purchased the ticket for the hop on hop off bus plus Arlington Cemetery. We were only able to do the Arlington Cemetery tour as we had car trouble and couldn't get to the hop on hop off bus. We got ourselves to Arlington and did the cemetery tour. No bus came for the remainder of the hop on hop off tour. There was a different bus we couldn't catch, so missed that part of the ticket

The tour was great. It hit all the major spots in DC and the it was very easy to find the hop on/off points. We had Everett as our last guide and he was great. He was funny and informative. We have already recommended it to friends.

Nice and airy on the trolley, no windows unless necessary. Entertaining and amiable guides. Excellent stops that cover the most important sites. Reasonably priced. We had a great time and will use them again. Also really enjoyed the beautifully restored main departure point, Union Station. It’s a destination in itself. In addition to the usual retail shops they have unique cultural shops.

The experience and the guides are great. Viator failed to tell me that the tour would be closed for a half day due to a race and still charged me full price. So be sure to make sure there’s no major events that might disrupt the experience. Otherwise, the guides are knowledgeable and there are plenty of the trolleys to make sure you always have a ride without waiting too long.

It was so nice to be able to hop on the bus at our leisure. A lot of the stops were in some really nice sight seeing areas, so we had a nice balance of walking around to sight see and then hopping on the bus to get to another part of town. The live map was also so helpful and the drivers were so friendly.

Who though it would be a great idea for driver to lead a narrative and drive a bus? How it could be safe? Drivers have to split their attention between the traffic (heavy at times) and remembering to say all the right words at the right time. In addition, one of the drivers spoke so fast, I could hardly catch a word. I would rather prefer to have a headset with a professional narrator, and a driver concentrating on driving a bus.
The only great thing about this tour is an app that allows you to see where the buses are at any given moment. That was the reason I chose this operator, instead of the Big Bus. Could not find similar app for them.
