Great day. All drivers were very knowledgeable about historical people and events, helpful and also funny!
Pleasant tour that was made entertaining by the driver / tour guide. Enjoyed the historical factoids.
Met at Union Station. It was easy to find. The driver was funny and commented about the crazy cyclist. The drivers directed us to other places in the area of each stop. Not crowded in late September.
Start early in order to be able to make all the stops especially if you have only one day for the tour.
This is an excellent way to see the highlights of DC! The driver's are fun, nice and informative. As a former Northern Virginian I would recommend this tour as an efficient way to visit our nation's capital.

The trolley was open, no A/C. The driver was professional, kind, helpful and informative. Easy to get on and off. Seats are more like benches, a bit small for 2 people. Thoroughly enjoyed the sights which included Arlington National Cemetery.

This is a great way to see several monuments and get oriented to the mall area. The drivers were very knowledgeable and gave tidbits about DC that only the locals know as well -- Also I recommend hopping off in the Wharf area where there are several nice restaurants .
They had bike rider thing through DC and the service was extremely limited with the time. I was not told in advance about this. They should have had it somewhere on their website this was happening. I would have.made other arrangements
The first bus driver Rooster was great. A lot of great info and easy to understand. Next two were OK but wandered a little bit and didn't speak clearly. Over all i would recommend.
Too much long waiting for the bus very poor bus tour frequency very bad experience and very honorable experience they say 10 min waiting but it's not 10 min it's 1 hour waiting for one to another bus

Wait time was closer to 30 minutes between trolleys, not 20. The busses were so full you couldn't get on. I wasted an hour waiting on an open seat. I finally gave up and walked. Total waste of money.
One Trolley was full and we couldn’t get back on. They did send another one a little later. Drivers were friendly and knowledgeable.
We were unaware that the Spy Museum had a hefty entrance fee. And plan to spend hours there if this is one of your choices!
We had 3 different tour guides/bus drivers. They were all safe drivers and great guides. We would highly recommend this tour with the Arlington Cemetary add on.
It was not the best experience, the driver spoke very fast and the stops were just quick look out so I did not enjoy this experience. Please include actual stops so the guests can be immersed into the experience

We booked a 15 stop hop on hop off trolley from Viator with the trolly service being Old Town trolley. 4 stops were removed from the tour due to a scheduled large protest at the Lincoln Memorial. My wife and I found this out after we Ubered to stop 10 (Lincoln Memorial) and found the new military memorial closed. The day was a disaster as we had to walk to stop seven and by that time our day was half wasted. A little communication by Viator would’ve gone a long way. Next time just go direct thru old town. We were reimbursed our ticket fees.
Get details about the stops before you get off. Once I got off, wasn't able to catch another one. Total waste of money
Singing up on line was difficult once i put in my credit card they confirmed my purchase but i was not able to get the tickets It had me signing in other programs which i had difficulty doing because im not savey with online stuff. Also the web site had no directions on where to go to get on the tram.
I had to call the 888 number the girl was nice she said to go to union station but by that time it was to late to make last tour
We never got to do the tour and spent $130 for nothing whick was very upsetting. If you could do anything for me on that i would appreciate it but. No refunds

The Hop On Hop Off Trolley was the perfect thing to do with my granddaughters. They had never been to DC before, so it was a nice overview of all the sites. I highly recommend and our driver, Rashad, was awesome!
The drivers do a great job telling about everything DC . Great opportunity to see all the major landmarks . The walk to Washington monument is long and if u don’t have tickets to go to top there are plenty of photo ops from a distaance. Same with whitehouse as they can be seen and good photos taken from the other stops. A nice day tour.
We enjoyed our day on the buses. Tiny was a great driver !! Full of knowledge. Arlington was also great to visit.
We were not informed about the disruption in schedule due to the upcoming Gand prix presentations. We only took the bus once but ended up having to walk about 5 miles because we couldn’t find the trolley stops at the sites we wanted to see. It ended up being the most expensive 15 minute bus ride I have ever had. I suggest giving vouchers to be able to use the trolley another date to make up for the issue. Also, there should have been notifications about the schedule disruption up front when reservations were taken with an alternate map with the new stops published. That would have solved much of the problem.
Booked tickets for the hop on jop off Trolkey in Washington, DC through viator. Was never told there was a Grand Prix race through the streets of DC this coming weekend. The main streets were closed such as Constitution Avenue. No notification was received by either text or by email. Had to call the trolley who said they would send a driver to take us to a stop......we waited in the heat but no one showed. Several trolleys past right by us. The trolley company directed us to viator for a refund. Viator did obtain the refund as per the email I received.
First I want to say that we have done a tour here before (same company) and it was wonderful. Unfortunately they were setting up for the Grand Prix and as a result the experience this was absolutely awful. I wish we had known it would have affected the tour or we never would have paid almost $300 to do this. We spent truly more time not moving and having people beep at us than we saw any monuments or landmarks. The poor tour guide didn’t know how to fill in massive gaps between stops so we all just sat there in silence for 20 minutes at a time. 2 of my kids fell asleep. Unfortunately it was just extremely boring. Normally it takes about an hour and a half to get around all the stops if you stay on the trolly, after 2.5 hours we still hadn’t seen all the stops and we never got off. We LOVE these kinds of tours and it was really unfortunate that this was such a disappointment, especially because my kids are old enough now that they don’t remember all the good ones we have been on, just the one that was painfully boring. Anyway… if you’re reading this and there are no major events happening, this is a great tour. If there is a major event…. I’d suggest a walking tour, you will literally see more and quicker if you walk. (Not kidding).
