A fun way to experience the historic Over-The-Rhine
Learning the history of beer making in Cincinnati’s Over-The-Rhine district while visiting several landmarks, and then literally stepping back in time to wander through a historic beer cavern was an amazing experience! Our guide, Miranda, put her knowledge, wit, humor, and love for the city on full display, making the tour even more fun. If you have ever wondered what could be hiding 30 feet below the old brewery buildings, or how Over-The-Rhine got its name, this tour is for you! Who knows, you might even glimpse a ghost or two along the way.

Must do!!! Whether you’re from Cincy or a first timer!
Our tour with Beth Palm was outstanding! We live here in Cincinnati and couldn’t have imagined all the colorful history and stories surrounding the city. I was absolutely blown away and in many ways proud to call Cincy home! The food was outstanding! Great variety and each place had its own unique taste and historical context! I’ve been on several food tours in many different countries and this one stood right there with the best of them! Beth was brilliant, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, you could feel her background as a teacher in how relatable and engaging she was. You could also feel her love for the city in how she talked about its history. No better person to do a tour with than local who’s lived and loved it! Whether you’re Cincinnati born and raised or visiting for the first time, it’s a great tour! The tastings are relatively small, for folks with big appetites, don’t be afraid to order an extra something or plan for a light snack afterwards. You won’t leave hungry but you most likely won’t be full! We also enjoyed really good cocktails at every spot! We had a blast, dress appropriately for some light walking and weather! Enjoy!!!

Daytonians get away to Cincinnati
We are a couple from Dayton, Ohio and decided to spend a day exploring Cincinnati. One of the highlights of our visit was the underground tour, and it far exceeded our expectations. The tour was informative, well-organized, and genuinely fascinating. Learning about Cincinnati’s underground spaces and the history hidden beneath the city gave us a completely new perspective on an area we thought we already knew. Harrison was knowledgeable, engaging, and did a great job balancing historical detail with storytelling, which kept the experience interesting from start to finish. The pace of the tour was comfortable, the explanations were easy to follow, and it felt like a unique experience you simply wouldn’t get on your own. It was both educational and fun, and it added real depth to our day trip.

A big picture of Cincinnati told in stories about pioneers and strong leaders.
This tour focused on the history, over the past 150 years or so, of Cincinnati’s ethnic, cultural and commercial traditions and future. The guide used food, from the ‘ Porkopolis’ nickname to the Findlay Market to the giant Kroger empire, to illustrate the city’s position in the growth of the American economy. David related the efforts of small business persons and civic leaders to develop a renewing, unified community. He could provide answers to almost any question and kept the pace of the tour within the capabilities of the tour group.

Cincinnati draws visitors with its storied past and colorful personality. Cincinnati tours —literally—take you underground with visits to the city’s subterranean tunnels and crypt. Other tour options help you dive into the city’s beer scene or learn about Cincinnati’s role in the Underground Railroad. There are also options for river cruises, food tours, or haunted history and sightseeing excursions on foot.
