Great experience!
As a Louisvillian I wanted to try a new experience and this one didn’t disappoint! Allison was a great tour guide and I got to try some new restaurants, food, and drinks. My friends and I had a great time and would love to try another tour from Louisville Food Tours in the future!

Great tour.
We had a perfect day on our bourbon tour! Our guide Belkis was amazing — friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything easy and fun from start to finish. We visited Four Roses, Buffalo Trace, and Stitzel-Weller, and the whole day ran smoothly.
We booked last minute, and she was still able to get us into a tasting that was already full, which we really appreciated. That extra effort made the experience even better.
Highly recommend this tour — one of the highlights of our trip! 🥃👏

Bourbon Blast, Undoubtedly a Must!
The tour itself was fabulous. I have done a lot of tours throughout Europe! This is one of the best, most fun I've ever had. The transportation was clean, and Verenice gave us a bit of history on the ride to the distilleries. During the tours, Verenice watches the time, but you can also keep in contact with her cell number to ensure you aren't left behind. Communication is excellent. We visited Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, and Jeptha Creed. Each was very well done, with delicious samples and great souvenir options. The other passengers were fantastic as well, lots of laughs for all.
I must add that we, a group of four, were skeptical at first. Normally, through Viator, we receive confirmation from the operator shortly after making the reservation - only Viator showed the confirmation in the app. We had some questions early on, and they went unanswered; phone numbers just rang, and it got frustrating. Days before the event, we received confirmation from both Viator and the operator, communication was there via text and email. So, don't despair ◡̈

Old Louisville tour
We came to Louisville on 3 generation family vacation. We decided to take a tour to learn about the city and it's history. We could just drove around to see the Old Louisville neighborhood but hearing about the original owners and builders was very interesting. Frances was extremely informative, great personality and chatted with all of us. Planning on coming back in October to take the Ghost tour.

Old Louisville mansions draped in fall colors
Great walking tour to view the front facades of lots of beautiful old mansions adjacent to the Central Park Visitor Center where we met. What made my experience especially great was the perfect cool sunny fall weather and all of the gorgeous gold, orange, and red trees and bushes surrounding all the beautiful mansions! Stunning!

Still hearing ghost whispers
Loved this ghost tour! Our guide Quentin is a phenomenal storyteller whose keen tales were set in Louisville’s Victorian old town with a climactic narrative and graphic visualizations. I’m still hearing whispers in my ears and feeling the icy fingers of a lost ghost child. The 90 minute walk is easy and the houses and witches tree spectacular.
The guide was respectful of the residents of the homes as our group gathered to hear about crisis ghosts and residual spirits and the stigmatized “Murder House”. Old Louisville will never feel the same to me again!

Thanks David and OLD Louisville
Well worth the price of admission. Our host, David, was punctual, knowledgeable, witty, and knew OLD Louisville history inside out. A Great Tour. Shared local legends and lore as well as interresting details about the movers and shakers of the last 150 to 200 years. Don't miss this tour...beautiful neighborhoods.

We loved our tour of...
We loved our tour of Churchill Downs and the Derby Museum. It was exhilarating to be so close to the track and to see firsthand all of the things/places we see when watching the race. The twin spires are majestic and hold so much history. The location of starting gate and finish line! The bugler’s location and winner’s circle! The video at the Museum is definitely a must-do.

NuLu foodie
You get your money’s worth! Don’t eat before you go. They have a good variety of Louisville staples and everything tasted great. If you are a foodie it’s always more interesting to know a little history behind the food and the area. This little tour does just that.

Excellent Drinks, Food, and History
Our tour guide Allison was excellent- full of positive energy and information. I paid for the special pour upgrade and it was worth it. You’ll visit several “speakeasy” locations and get a history of each place while you enjoy fantastic drinks and some food (the food highlight being the beer cheese bread at our second stop). You get a good walkthrough of downtown Louisville on the tour to see the area. At the end of the tour I took a quick Uber to the Big 4 Footbridge and walked across the Ohio River to Indiana at sunset - recommended!

Louisville is well renowned for the Kentucky Derby, excellent bourbon, and, of course, the Louisville slugger baseball bat. Find out more about local culture on a Louisville tour. Dig into the history of one of the world’s most famous horse races at the Kentucky Derby Museum, explore different distilleries, or walk the streets with a guide to learn more about local folklore and hidden tunnels that facilitated the supply of alcohol during the prohibition years.
