I appreciated the history and tips our tour guide, Alex, gave the group. It helps to be prepared for the unpredictable weather in the area. If you like to research before hand it would help to know what is open for lunch at the Manitou Springs lunch stop as time is limited. Highly recommend this tour.

Breathtaking!

The Rockies are just so breathtaking, and we were blessed with perfect weather. I really enjoyed this tour. Thank you to Robert who stopped by Moxie’s Bread Co and The Miracle Church. The former was delicious, and the latter was so meaningful. The Stanley Hotel later in the day was a little packed and hosts its own tours for those interested in “The Shining.” The trip to Rocky Mountain National Park was just spectacular. My one suggestion would be to add either a couple more picture viewpoints or a short guided hike. The only walking I did was around Sprague Lake. I generally like a little more activity on a day trip, but I knew this going in. Be warned, National Parks attendance is increased 300% lately, so be prepared for a few lines.

Its packed with lots of interesting facts about the history of Denver's settlement. What roles the different people played in the development. Being the spouse of a railroads who retired from Union Pacific, there role in the development was interesting. Rob abd Sue just didn't focus on the old but also the new, pointing out the new buildings and thongs that makes Demverthe city it is.

Great tour wonderful day

First trip to Denver and visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. The park was beautiful and Alex our guide for the day was outstanding. He explained so much as we traveled to the park, through the park and then lunch at Estes Park. We saw elk, and moose and the views were spectacular. The tour was so much more interesting having a guide to explain so much and not having to drive ourselves through the mountains. Highly recommend this tour.

Very good excursion with beautiful scenery

Be on time! Meeting time for me was 1pm and at 12:56pm I received a call to make sure that I was coming. I was literally less than 100 yards away, LOL! The trip is worth the money. The vehicle was clean and appropriate. I really didn't care for the stop in Idaho Spring. There were several food choice and a place to use the restroom.

Great day trip

I had an incredible experience with Explorer Tours right out of Denver! The tour took us to Pikes Peak, where the mountain views—snow-capped and breathtaking—were absolutely unforgettable. Then, we explored the Garden of the Gods, which gave us a totally different but equally stunning landscape—those iconic orange rock formations were surreal. Jed as the guide on the Rocky Mtn National Park Tour is a must do activity.

Jed did an awesome job explaining all the ecological features of the area. He knows everything about the vegetation, wildlife, and geological formations of the area. His passion came across. I’d highly recommend. Going after Memorial Day would have gotten us higher on the mountain, but we still got over 10K feet. Saw a ton of wildlife throughout the day. His Dad jokes were on point too.

This trip was amazing! Stephen is very knowledgeable, he showed us special places in Lyons and Estes Park and beautiful nature around the national park. We were even able to see two packs of elks and several deers! Thanks Stephen! Sandwich lunch and cookies were delicious!
