A great tour to get around the museums.

Wonderful guide Skye was friendly and had a wealth of knowledge about the area and of course the museums were a blast. It’s a walkabout so wear the right type of shoes and clothing as you go from place to place. You get to see all sorts of different buildings and architecture which is amazing and what agency’s offices are in . It’s a little fast paced but depending what time you go, the mid morning is a better time I think, you can backtrack to the other museums after the last one and spend as much time until closing to experience all it has to offer.

As a group we were well informed, given ample breaks and we're able to ask questions all along the tour. Never did this tour on prior trips to DC, and would recommend you don't miss it.

An amazing way to see lots in a short period of time-Sally was a great tour guide

This tour was a great way to experience Washington DC in a short period of time. We only had 2 days in DC so there was no we could see everything. This gave us a great sampling of the city so that the next time we come, we'll be better able to plan our trip. Sally was one of the best tour guides we've ever had in our travels. She provided lots of information in a fun and engaging way. She's very funny and obviously knows her history. The fact that she's lived there so long, adds to the tour commentary. The tour had some adjustments in the itinerary on the day due to road closures and traffic. The changes felt seemless though and we saw some monuments not on the original itinerary which was great. In praise of Sally, when a fellow tour goer periodically threw out comments that could be divisive, she handled it with grace and always brought the discussion back to the history and importance of Washington DC to our nation. Thank you for such a great tour.

Amazing experience!

Do it!!!! I was with someone who had never been to DC before and this was the perfect way for them to get in all of the major monuments. Also, even if you’ve seen them before, seeing them at night is completely different and so worth it in addition to the knowledgeable guide who will give you fun and interesting facts throughout the tour. We had Joel, and he was fantastic. I cannot say enough good things. Highly recommend!!!

We had a fantastic experience at Arlington National Cemetery thanks to our tour guide, Reid. The meeting instructions were clear and easy to follow, and our group quickly felt comfortable with one another. Reid, a Navy veteran, brought a unique perspective that made the tour especially meaningful. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and shared so much insight about the history and significance of the cemetery. It was a brisk but sunny day, and the whole experience was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this tour—especially if you get Reid as your guide!

A Day with Brittany & Cortez

My family and I booked this tour for last week and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! All of us would highly recommend, especially for those from out of state and don't know where to start. Brittany and Cortez were absolutely incredible during this experience. I cannot recommend both of them enough! Brittany was extremely knowledgeable, charismatic, and hilarious. I learned quite a bit about DC that I did not know before AND I had a great time doing it. As someone who had never been to DC before, this tour allowed me to hit the highlights and feel like I had truly experienced this beautiful city. (There was also ample time at each location to both explore and buy souvenirs for those interested!) Another bonus was the bus! I had actually twisted and/or sprained my ankle the day before the tour, so I was having some difficulty walking around. Had I not been able to experience DC in this way, I would have had trouble moving around and finding everything. Although there is still a decent amount of walking, this tour provides targeted locations/monuments and gives respite between all of the major ones for those who cannot walk quite as much for any reason. Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn't say I truly appreciated them as people. Traffic from our hotel was not great that morning, but Brittany and Cortez were willing to wait for my family and I. They definitely could have left and it would have been our fault, but their understanding of the situation made them stand out even more as quality humans. Worth every penny in my opinion!

Highly Recommend!!

We loved our tour to the top of the Washington Monument! The ease of buying guaranteed tickets online allowed us a trip to the top of the monument without the hassle of waiting online without the guarantee of getting tickets. Also, the communication from Viator was outstanding! On the day of our visit, we arrived at the monument a little early and was allowed to go ahead and enter the security line. The line moved fast and we were allowed as much time as we wanted at the top! Highly recommend!!

Don't miss this

The monuments look so beautiful at night. A completely different experience. Our tour guide Smiley was funny and really made a point to include the kids so they paid attention and hopefully will remember some of the amazing points in history they had the amazing Smiley making it fun to learn. Highly recommend this tour. Make sure to visit the memorial wall and Arlington National Cemetary to show and hopefully learn just how many people sacrificed their life so we may live free.
