What are people saying about Washington DC

The tour guide and driver...
The tour guide and driver (Walter) are wonderful! Joey, the tour guide is so knowledgeable and provides details about Alexandria and Mt. Vernon's history that were entertaining and informative. When you visit the education center at the end of the Mt. Vernon tour, go first to the theaters to get more history on the war and Washington. The museum is great, but didn't see theater until end so we wish we had more time

Alan knows so much about...
Alan knows so much about Washington DC and the history of the US. He is truly an incredible guide and we had such a great tour with him. Our kids, 14 and 10, were engaged and have been retelling historical facts and highlights. Alan was very flexible and helped us plan what would be best for our family for the day, and he went above and beyond in every way. Such a great experience overall!

Regis is Amazing 🤩
This tour was everything I wanted it to be! Regis was genuinely knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. The private tour is a bit more pricey, but worth every penny. We were able to see everything we wanted at our own pace, without worrying about the strict schedule of a group tour. We ere also able to see some monuments and memorials which usually aren’t included in traditional tours. We did this on our first night in town. It was so nice to get to all the major photo spots out of the way in one go so we could focus on museums the rest of our trip. Overall, I highly recommend!

Highest recommendation
Steve was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the whole tour. He offered to provide feedback with anything during our stay in Washington, D.C. outside of the tour hours, such as other places to go and visit. He provided tips on what transportation options exist to get to the tour bus, and he texted the day prior to the tour to confirm our reservation. It was a professional experience, and we were able to see so many things in four hours that we would have never been able to do by ourselves. Along the way, we learned so much about the history of the area and the United States. The buses have access to areas that cars do not in the city. I give the highest recommendation that I can for this service.

Washington DC has a seemingly endless supply of museums, monuments, and major landmarks. Due to this glut of attractions, it's tempting to stay in town, but there are many reasons to explore beyond city limits, too. Washington DC day trips cover the gamut, including history-themed trips to former presidential abodes in Alexandria, vineyard adventuring in Virginia (one of the country's fastest-growing wine regions), and commemorative visits to Arlington. Then there is the colonial history in Williamsburg, wartime monuments in Gettysburg, and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The moral of the story? Explore Washington DC—but don't stop there.
