The tour was great. Our guide, Claudia was very knowledgeable and gave us the most important highlights of each museum we visited. It was a small group which made it a better experience.

Great way to see all of the highlights without exhausting yourself. Afterwards, you’re free to keep exploring at your leisure. My tour guide, Shane, was exceptional. He was personable and extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this!

If you have never been to DC, definitely do a tour. There is so much to see and Meg was awesome! Very informative and entertaining. Would definitely recommend

Comfy shoes=a must. Even when visiting alone. Many don't realize how much they walk in the museums once they arrive. We are happy to cut down the walking by prioritizing your time on the Smithsonian Highlights tour!

Wonderful guide Skye was friendly and had a wealth of knowledge about the area and of course the museums were a blast. It’s a walkabout so wear the right type of shoes and clothing as you go from place to place. You get to see all sorts of different buildings and architecture which is amazing and what agency’s offices are in . It’s a little fast paced but depending what time you go, the mid morning is a better time I think, you can backtrack to the other museums after the last one and spend as much time until closing to experience all it has to offer.

Hard to do if you have difficulty walking. Our guide saw our problem and offered to find uber to take us to the final building on the tour so we could catch up. When that plan went ary because of traffic, our guide stayed after the group had finished the tour to locate us. He then showed us at least part of that experience, and then stayed to make sure we had a ride to our hotel. While all of our guides were knowledgable, friendly, and professional, Shane is to be commended for his caring for us as well.

Great experience! Our guide Christina led us from the meeting point through three great museums. She provided interesting and in-depth descriptions and history of the buildings we passed on the way, all while walking backwards. :-) In each museum she led us to key displays of artifacts and provided interesting explanations on their importance. Christina was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We highly recommend this tour.

Shane was a wonderful tour guide who navigated us though wind, sleet, and snow to see the National Natural History, American History, and Air and Space Museums. We didn't have a lot of time to visit these Smithsonian's on our own, and he gave the perfect museum highlight tour. He pointed out main attractions, as well as lesser-known treasures within each museum. He was personable, spoke clearly, and shared a wealth of knowledge with us, as well as provided a great lunch recommendation for after the tour. Great experience for the time and money!

Glad to hear you thought the tour was great.
Each of the Smithsonian Museums are located on the very crowded National Mall, with multiple entrances, and are quite large. We have found in the past meeting on location meant it was impossible for guests to find us. Our goal is for this tour to alleviate frustrations, not add to them.
We are fortunate to have a conveniently located visitors center, 5-10 minute walk from most museums, where our guests can check in and be out of the weather as the full group arrives, and enjoy their day with ease as the guide navigates everything from there for them.

Fast paced overview and good hit of the highlights. Plan on needing more time at each but this gives a great lay of the land and cool insight to things overlooked. Our guide Skye was great and extremely knowledgeable.
