It was an excellent daytime experience that was available on very short notice. Our tour guide was Melisandre who was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the city’s history. In addition to the historical facts about town, we were also treated to a few famous local paranormal spots, which was a treat! A very fun experience - recommend 10/10!

The tour locations were great, and Alina was very friendly. She was helpful getting us out of the rain. My only complaint is that there was a lot of advertising for other tours and activities, and I would’ve preferred spending that time talking about history. Otherwise, it was a very good experience.

Mike was a phenomenal tour guide. He was funny, knowledgeable, and engaging. I have taken a few Salem tours and I learned so many things from him. He gives information about the Salem Witch trials that no other tour gives. Long story short, this tour is worth it.

Fun and Informative

We had such a great time on the Hocus Pocus Tour in Salem! Michael was very informative and made the experience even better with all of his movie references, it really brought the magic to life. A few tips for future visitors: when they say it’s a walking tour with no bathrooms, they mean it; plan accordingly! You’ll see all of the filming sites from the outside, and if you’d like to go inside some of them, you can pay separately to visit after the tour. Also, note that the tour doesn’t end where it starts, so you’ll need to find your own transportation back to your car. We recommend using the Salem Skipper, it was quick and convenient and less expensive than Uber. Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience, especially for Hocus Pocus fans!

This was so fun! They let us choose which costumes to wear, and had a wide variety of costumes to choose from. The photo set and backdrops were cool and we liked using the props. Our photographer was creative and patient with our group. This was the highlight of our day in Salem!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you want a tour of Salem that’s not-so-brief, brutally honest, and wildly entertaining, this is the one. Thomas and his snack-driven sidekick Satan deliver a mix of history, humor, and unspoken truths that you won’t hear anywhere else. From the very beginning, Thomas had us laughing nonstop while still learning so much. What sets him apart is his professionalism and genuine care—he’s one of the only guides I’ve seen who will actually pick up the phone, call, and wait for guests. Almost 10-15 mins late but he cared enough to call 3 times! He’s observant, keeps safety in mind, and makes sure everyone stays engaged. Even the little details—like reminding us to walk together “like the wildebeest that killed Simba’s dad,” or not staring at lights at night—show how much thought he puts into the experience. It was a chilly night but our tour guide lit the night on fire with his fun facts and weirdness. This off-the-wall tour had us piecing together forgotten tales, like the story of the water wall that once held Salem’s richest port together. It’s quirky, it’s bold, and it’s unforgettable. We are definitely coming back (with snacks for Satan as well) 💀 Tip him, please. He’s worth every dollar. Honestly, I wish I could give this tour 10 pentagrams instead of 5 stars. We had an absolute blast and walked away with both laughs and knowledge. Highly recommended.
