George was a terrific guide who provided lots of information as we visited all the memorials and monuments. Great way to see those off the usual walking path like Jefferson memorial and Marine Memorial. He not only projected his voice so all could hear he made sure we were together and always knew what to expect next. Truly a great experience.

This was our favorite tour so far. The monuments look amazing at night. We were introduced to many we had not seen before. I highly recommend doing the open air bus as compared to the regular bus. Will, our tour guide was both very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and our driver, Rick was friendly and engaging.

Prime Time Experience

Lynn_J, Jun 2026
I love the sights. Exceptional tour guide. Deon (Prime Time) was superb!! It would be great to spend more time at some of the stops but I can’t complain as it was very economical.

Dion 13 💯

Lisa_K, Jun 2026
Dion 13 was perfect! Very knowledgeable! Gave us much more information than if we would have just walked around. Easy to find meeting point.

The DC Monuments by Night...

Victoria_F, Jun 2026
The DC Monuments by Night tour was good and packed with a lot of information for a three hour window. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about each location and did an excellent job keeping the group organized and on schedule throughout. Around the two hour mark, I started to feel a bit tired, but overall, the experience was definitely worth it. Seeing the monuments illuminated at night added a unique perspective and made the tour feel special. The only downside was the amount of construction in certain areas—it was a bit disappointing to see parts of such historic sites being torn down or altered right in front of us. Even with that, it was still a memorable experience and something I would recommend.

Be careful!

Jon_B, Jun 2026
The company advertised an open top luxury bus. My partner has issues with tight spaces. We were put on a regular tour bus. I questioned the operator and showed him the Viator ticket. He said it was a company problem and I did not purchase the “upgrade”. The email from Viator directed us to go to a specific bus name, after crossing the street several times we found the correct company. Not the one specified. The tour was good and the guide was great. But the confusion at the beginning and the bait and switch about an “upgrade” was unacceptable.

Great experience! Tour...

Flora_K, Jun 2026
Great experience! Tour guide was awesome. Very informative. Anyone visiting DC should take the tour. It’s much better having a tour guide describe what you are looking at than go on your own.

Great experience

lisa_L, May 2026
Great experience. Deion was a little hard to understand sometimes. Would definitely do the sunset tour again.

Worth every penny!

Mary_F, May 2026
We had an awesome time with USA Guided Tours! Our guide, Dion, made history feel interesting and relatable—it never felt like we were just being hit with a bunch of dates and facts. Instead, Dion had a way of making you feel immersed in the story itself. I don’t want to give too much away for future guests, but the way he carried a certain theme throughout the tour was really clever and made everything even more enjoyable. I learned so much and picked up all kinds of cool details about the monuments that gave me a whole new appreciation for not just the history behind them, but also the people who designed and built them. Our driver, Ms. Tanya, was great too. She got us everywhere safely and smoothly and was friendly and helpful. The only thing I’d mention is that I probably wouldn’t pick seats all the way in the back next time. The schedule is pretty full, and Dion is clearly passionate about what he does, so he’d often start talking about the next monument as soon as he got off the bus. If you’re sitting in the back, you might have to hustle a little to catch up at first and could miss a few details. That said, I never felt like I missed out on anything. Dion shared plenty of information on the bus and was always happy to answer questions. Dion promised a prime time experience, and he absolutely delivered. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this tour to friends and family!

Bamboozled

Vickie_R, May 2026
It sucked!!!!! The tour was NOT what was paid for, and then they wouldn't refund the money, I ended up with a walking tour, after I paid for a non walking tour because of my disability.

Monuments Gallore

Lisa_L, May 2026
Great tour saw a lot in the 3 hrs Jack and Tyrone super friendly and helpful So knowledgeable about history Kinda hard to see something’s at night but def a great tour

Feeling disappointed

Anastasia_Z, May 2026
Our tour was not great. I probably knew all the facts and the tour guide just let us walk around on our own at each spot. We had a suspicion we actually just had a driver and were missing a tour guide. The bigger cheaper bus had a much better tour guide who walked around with them and was full of fun facts

Night Tour

shannon_d, May 2026
Informative. Elvis, our guide was great He provided unique insights to each site visited. Shirley our driver was excellent as well.

Great night even though it was raining.

Lisa_D, May 2026
Loved our tour with George. He was very nice and was a wealth of info. I fortunately it was raining and cold. So did not enjoy the open bus but it was nice and warm.

Guide Derek and driver...

Joseph_M, May 2026
Guide Derek and driver Sylvia were awesome. Made the tour 110 perecnt even better. They made us feel welcome!

Opt for the Convertible Minivan!!

Mark_M, May 2026
The DC Monuments by Night Tour was amazing and a great way to take in the sites in Washington DC. We opted for the convertible minivan which was a excellent choice as we enjoyed a beautiful evening with the top down driving around DC. Our guide Noam and our driver Tyrone were outstanding! If you’re in DC, I highly recommend this tour, as DC at night is a whole different experience!

The extra for the convertible top was SO worth it!

Susan_S, May 2026
A clear, balmy night, and the open-topped minibus was perfect for 360* viewing! We were so very glad that we weren’t in a large bus. Our group was a delightful 9 + driver and guide Noem. They were both super kind and friendly. And knowledgeable! Having 15 mins to walk around at most stops was extra nice, and more chance to hear Noem’s historical facts! Would recommend this to everyone!!

Michigan family in DC

It was a very fun trip,...

SandraL_R, May 2026
It was a very fun trip, and we enjoyed the lights at night! Our guide, Elvis and Sylvia the bus driver was amazing! We picked up some interesting facts along the way. FYI, the trip was nonrefundable, and we had an illness in our group last minute. A slim possibility of a partial refund.

You haven’t experienced DC until you see it at night

Kate_D, May 2026
George was a terrific guide who provided lots of information as we visited all the memorials and monuments. We had the best time on this tour! George and Tyrone were great, and George kept things interesting throughout the whole tour with all of the facts he shared (and the humor he added).

5+ stars!!!

Unfogettable

Rahul_M, May 2026

Driver and Tour Guide...

Shaun_H, May 2026
Driver and Tour Guide were great. Gave great info and stories. Got to see alot of monuments. Definitely recommend.

Great tour

Cathy_B, May 2026
Take the upgrade of the tour monuments by moonlight. We had a much smaller group; we were in a glass top van with 12 others (vs 45-60 other passengers); a dedicated tour guide and a dedicated driver. Our guide, George provided excellent descriptions of the monuments and the area. Our tour was not just a bus ride...we got off with the guide; walked to the monuments and up many steps (or elevator if needed): receiving commentary all the way. In summary, buy the upgrade!
