Considerable amount of walking. The tour guide Derek was excellent and driver Omar was also very good.
Angela_D, Aug 2026
Excellent tour full of historical information about places we visited and places to come back to. Our tour guide was fun, knowledgeable, sensitive to passengers, and safe!
Michael_R, Aug 2026
It was a great tour. Sylvia and Buzz were great! We saw all of the monuments at night! It was beautiful.

It’s a must do when visiting DC. You cover so much in three hours and the tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. The entire staff works to give you an incredible experience.
Amanda_C, Aug 2026
Tony and Thirteen were amazing. Thirteen had an amazing personality. He was entertaining and so knowledgeable. He has all the fun facts teaching us the history aspects of the tour and connecting it to the current times as well. Tony was very kind and made sure to navigate the city to het us around safe. He was aware of the detour and road closures currently going on due to construction. Overall a fantastic experience. Absolutely would recommend this duo to anyone!

This was a wonderful, kid-friendly experience that exceeded our expectations. It made seeing all the big landmarks so easy with our 3 children and saved us so much time and extra walking. Would 10/10 recommend!

We had a great experience with Buzz & Sylvia! They were knowledgeable and entertaining. Our three hours flew by!
Marie_K, Aug 2026
Great way to see everything. The regular bus was great because it was a warm night and the air conditioning was nice.
Lykisha_C, Aug 2026
The tour was ok, if I were to do this again I would definitely not do an enclosed bus and upgrade to the open air or even pick a company with a trolley or open cart/car deal to better see the things being pointed out as we drive-by. Things on the opposite side of you are blocked by people or the roof of the bus. I think the amount of time at the MLK monument is not enough. After everyone in the group waits in line for their photo op its time to leave. We didn't get to walk around and see the remaining area/quotes. This was more worth $50

This tour stops at several monuments and you need to be able to climb stairs to fully enjoy each stop. The open bus was great to view the sights and provided extra opportunities to take pictures!
Raphael was our guide and Tyrone was our driver. Both worked well together to ensure that we had time at each stop to explore and receive information. It was nice to have a native of DC to lead us through our tour. Check in for the tour was easy and we were provided wristbands for easy identification. Also water was provided. We highly recommend the 3 hour evening tour as part of your DC visit

Elvis was super knowledgeable about American history and explaining the monuments to us . One of his speeches got me teary eyed and emotional . Tony was friendly and a safe driver, attentive to our needs. We loved the convertible van. Great tour guide , great driver , great van , great America .
Randy_D, Jul 2026
It was an excellent and quick three plus hour tour of the monuments at night.
Outstanding service by Buzz (tour guide) and bus driver Silvia.
Jason_B, Jul 2026
The night monument tour was amazing. The whole family had a great time. Deion “Primetime” “13” was very entertaining and informative. Tony was a skilled driver that got is to every destination safely and with precision. 10/10 would recommend and if you can ask for the dynamic duo of Tony and Deion you wont be disappointed
Janet_D, Jul 2026
They told us the bus would leave when it was full… this was in response to wanting to going to the bathroom before the tour started. We were a 1/2 hour early. So we got on the bus and waited. We regretted it because we had to use some of our very short monument time to use the restroom.
Robert_T, Jul 2026
Significantly more walking than you might expect, however it was well worth it. The monuments and memorials were much better at night in my opinion. Our tour guide Noam was knowledgeable and engaging.
Rachel_K, Jul 2026
The driver was excellent Tony and our tour guide. Dion was very informative, but went way too fast for us to enjoy the monuments and the memorial statues.
Serena_M, Jul 2026
My family and I did the convertible night tour seeing the monuments. Our guide, Will, was funny and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this tour!!
Patricia_S, Jul 2026
Traveler tips: There is a decent amount of walking, and few restroom stops. No food or drink on the bus.
The tour was amazing, highly recommend. Tony and Deon were our guides. They did a very good job getting us to and from. Deon was highly knowledgeable. Made the tour enjoyable with unordinary history.
Jennifer_H, Jul 2026
Can’t recommend this tour enough. Tony and Dion were great. The tour was informative, didn’t feel rushed and was a great way to see multiple locations if you have limited time in the area. I highly recommend a night tour during the summer.
Kim_D, Jul 2026
Fast paced. Still lots of walking. Air conditioned bus. Free waters. Way to see most all monuments in one outing
Laurel_K, Jul 2026
We were late because of all of the construction in the city (our walk more than doubled), but some team members waited for us and brought us to meet the group in a van, which was amazing. Unfortunately, when we caught up with the group, other customers resisted making space (using seats for unticketed lap children and strollers), and the tour guide was not supportive in helping us find seats. Two members of our group ended up leaving and not participating in the tour. Our tour guide was personable, but gave some misinformation and/or misworded "facts" as we toured. The driver was outstanding, though.
Tess_W, Jul 2026
Wonderful tour of the monuments at night! We loved Curtis and Buzz! We had plenty of time at each stop and enjoyed seeing everything lit up at night. It was beautiful!
Amanda_H, Jul 2026
George was an amazing tour guide. He had so much knowledge and it was clear he enjoys being a tour guide. To be able to visit so many of the monuments without the hassle of driving was worth every penny!! The history lesson along the way was awesome. My kids (11 and 8) learned so much.
Sue_S, Jul 2026
Excellent tour. George was so knowledgeable. And with his booming voice was easy to hear him. He was fun & entertaining & full of interesting facts. Alicia was a careful & considerate bus driver. The bus was comfortable & the AC was just what we needed on the hot & humid night.
Melanie_G, Jul 2026
Our tour guide and bus driver were excellent. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned. My only complaint was that 4 family members (out of the 14 tickets I purchased) were on a plane that was diverted because of weather and I had no recourse to ask for a refund since I booked through Viator. The tour company could not help me and the Viator website gave no recourse or phone number. I was out $250 plus. I will think about booking directly rather than through Viator, which I have used successfully many times.
Kathleen_J, Jul 2026
Our guide was incredibly informative and made the entire tour great. We never would have discovered the information or been able to cover all of the monuments on our own in this same amount of time. Definite must see even with teenage kids.
