What are people saying about Santa Barbara

Erin is an amazing instructor, this is who you want to learn from as a beginner.
Erin is one of the best ceramics instructors we've ever had the pleasure of learning from. We had the option to throw five pieces, each from a roughly one-pound ball of clay, and in our two-hour session we got a thorough demo plus threw about three pieces each. We're so pleased with what we learned and what we were able to create. One of us had even taken classes in college and still walked away having learned far more from Erin than from any previous class.

You won’t regret it!!
visiting Santa Barbara for a weekend with my grandma and wanted her to experience the beautiful town that SB is. We booked the 10am trolley and got there 15 minute before (garden) like the email said. The driver approached the stop sign but it wasn’t until he pulled up that you know where to be. He had an A frame with him and I wonder why the company just doesn’t leave the A frame for all to see. There was plenty of room in our train. Rusty gave us a great experience: all his stops and knowledge was intentional, he’s a SB local and really loves the town. I’ve been to this city many times and this is the first time I took this trolley. I might do it again bc it was overcast when we went (still fun). Thank you Rusty for your great hospitality!!!

Great experience!!
Booked this while spending the weekend in Santa Barbara!! When they say the boat leaves from stearns warf (end of pier) it does really leave from there. Just walk to the end of the pier (lookout for congested parking lot) and check in before you board!! The staff was friendly and they were playing music on the boat it made the experience even much better.

Truly wonderful way to explore wine country
William was absolutely amazing. Communication before the event was right on. Pick up location perfect with parking. The tour was the best. He paced it so well, allowing for stops to explore and learn along the way. Lunch was superb and he really paid attention to food allergies for us. The wines, the best way to end a perfect day. Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful tour
Zach was a terrific guide. We loved his stories and SB knowledge, the pace was perfect and he kept us safe on the busy city streets. The bikes were in great shape and easy to ride and the route was a great mix of scenery and novelty. I’ve visited SB all my life and enjoyed so many new places on this tour. 100% recommend.

Great tour in Santa Barbara Wine Country
We had a wonderful day in the wine country of Santa Barbara County. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the wineries in the area, and took us to three small, family owned wineries that produce small batches of excellent wine. We even had a presentation on the whole process, from grape to amazing wine.
We really enjoyed the tour and brought home a number of bottles.
I highly recommend Rooted Vine tours, and would not hesitate to book another tour with them!

Gar and Sophia were great...
Gar and Sophia were great guides who helped us with kayaking techniques and tugging our kayaks if needed. It was overcast day and we had a small group so it was a nice intimate experience. They gave us great knowledge of the harbor and wildlife. We saw seals, sea lions, and lots of birds, including a mama seal bringing up her baby seal to the shore! Fun activity if you’re feeling adventurous and want to be in the water.

sunset cruise
This was a delightful way to see the area from the sea viewpoint. Can't say enough about how great the staff was...ticket booth to Captain to inside staff/servers. Excellent! We hoped to see some Marine-life so the seals obliged. It is breezy and a bit cold after the sun sets...dress appropriately.

The zip lines were safe...
The zip lines were safe and fun! The guides were all very kind and knowledgeable. Spencer at the front desk was also very sweet and extremely helpful. My husband and I went as part of our honeymoon. Now we have to go back to try the adventure course!!

Tour of Wine country
It is a delightful experience held in an idyllic location in California. The wines are varied and tour exposed us to a spectrum we might not otherwise have explored. The tour guide (Johan) was excellent; prompt, well informed, educational and a very good driver. Can’t think of a better way to spend five hours at a very equitable price.

Great Experience on The Whisper
My friends and I had a wonderful time on THE WHISPER. It’s the perfect size for up to 6 people with room to sit outside or on the semi enclosed main level. The tables and sunken cup holders are perfect for snacks and beverages. The boat is clean and comfortable. Charlie was a great Captain- knowledgeable and friendly.

10/10 Wine Tasting Experience
Our driver Kris was extremely helpful and welcoming. She made this experience super enjoyable. There was an issue with our booking and she went out of her way to contact her boss and help us resolve it! Overall I would recommend to anyone and definitely coming back!
