Meeting instructions were VERY unclear. There were two different locations mentioned. About a mile apart. I have screenshots. No one was there 30 minutes before to check in. “Meet at Union Station” and “Welcome Center” are a mile apart and Union Station is huge!! The trolley did show up eventually and the experience itself was great but please don’t say to meet up 30 minutes before if there is no one there to greet you. I should have booked directly with trolley company perhaps. This was my first negative Viator experience and the customer service people were not helpful and didn’t understand my concern.
Our tour guide/bus driver was fantastic! He was funny, knowledgeable, and an overall great person! The sites were beautiful at night - it was wonderful!!
Relaxing and beautiful experience. The tour bus stops at several areas to visit and allow you take pictures and/or use the restrooms.
Fun and informative enjoyed the monologue from the driver and description of the sites. It seemed that a couple of the stops could have used a few more minutes to be able to take in the monuments at each stop but our driver did. Or make us feel too rushed

The monuments are beautifully lit at night and have a different feel than in the daylight. The guide was informative and entertaining however he stays on the bus while you wander the monuments
We took the Monuments by Moonlight tour last night and we had Edward as our narrator/driver. He was incredible. So full of fun facts and so knowledge while keeping it politically unbiased. Thank you for the fun evening!
Loved a tour of the monuments as a local that had seen them all in the daylight. Was surprised we got out of the bus for some walking, but I didn't mind. Cool to see this stuff at night
Not enough time stopped to view monuments by moonlight detoured to the cemetery to wave instead of seeing monuments. Driver didn’t seem to have much knowledge about monuments did tell. Jokes.
Mike was great! He was very knowledgeable and informative. He also had an amazing memory and greeted us by the state we come from every time we got on and off at stops.
This was by far the most disappointing tour I have ever taken. Our tour guide, Smiley, was very unprofessional, and at times the driving felt unsafe, including going through a couple of red lights.
Throughout the tour, there were far too many personal stories and repeated personal opinions about the monuments and places we were visiting. We were hoping to learn more about DC and its history, but much of the commentary focused on his personal experiences and opinions.
At the MLK Memorial, Smiley stood directly in front of the trolley exit and directed everyone to go left to see the MLK statue, when the FDR Memorial was actually to the right. There was also very little information provided about the Korean War Memorial, which is a beautiful and incredibly moving memorial. Instead, we heard a great deal of commentary about menu items and several of his personal “favorite” Smithsonian museums.
The tour felt rushed, disorganized, and lacked the historical information we expected. Overall, it was an absolute disappointment and not the experience we were hoping for when visiting Washington, DC.
We had a tour scheduled for 9am. No notice that there wouldn’t be a tour until 12 because of streets being closed due to a race. Was told when we called about it. We could catch the metro and ride to Arlington ( which we have to pay for) then switch to another bus. Check in with security. Walk on our own until about 12:30 because that’s when first bus would be there. No mention of discount for losing 3 hours of our paid tour. No cancellations allowed. You just leave about 15 people standing at train station with no service. Very poor business. I won’t use you guys ever again in the future
Driver/moderator was very good almost amazing. Really enjoyed the experience to see the downtown area and see the monuments/memorials.
MJ was knowledgeable, energetic, and funny. We enjoyed his stories. It was a powerful stroll through history. The Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorials were well lit but several of the other memorials were challenging to find in the moonlight since it was only half moon. Bring your flashlight that does help.
This is a very lively dynamic tour. You see some beautiful monuments all lit up and under the stars! The driver/ Tour guide was amazing and even sung to us, really well! It was informative and a blast!

This is a lovely tour of public buildings in the area and the monuments at night. There was great narration from the guide and plenty of time to walk around. A very nice way to see the sights
A great night tour of the capitol with narration by the driver and 3 stops for a little exploration on your own. Originally I thought it was too long but actually it was too short!
This was the moonlight tour. Some of the stops it was difficult to see entire monuments, will have to return during daylight hours. Great information from driver. He was very friendly.
