Reid is a very good tour guide. He brought his experience as a Naval aviator to enhance the explanation of the many sites at Arlington. It was a very worthwhile tour because we were able to see and here about many of the grave sites and monuments which we would otherwise not have leaned about.

What an amazing experience we had. We are veterans and loved the reverence at the changing of the guard ceremony, beautifully done. Our guide Reid was also a veteran. His stories were rich with history. He made the tour a highlight of our stay. Highly recommend

SARINA_M, Apr 2026
We had an amazing tour guide. Christina was extremely knowledgeable. and told us a lot about the history of Arlington National
Cemetery. Would definitely recommend.
Ashley_G, Apr 2026
This is a good tour. It was about 2.5 hours and only went through a small portion of the cemetery. Christina was great, knowledgeable, and passionate about respecting those buried at the cemetery. Because the cemetery is so large, Christina gave us tips to see a few more memorials after the tour ended.

They warn you that it is a lot of walking- and it is. The guide was very knowledgeable- but after walking the DC area the day before greater than 20 miles- we were walked out. I don’t regret going- it was just a lot for us from the day before.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
That is correct. Our Arlington National Cemetery Tour covers 2.5 miles approximately to give the best overview of the grounds and its history. Glad you felt our description was accurate in the listing and that you felt it was worth it. Bummer your previous day's ventures affected the rating but look forward to seeing you again!

We had a wonderful tour with Meg at Arlington Cemetery. She took us to all the highlights and had a great strategy to make sure we were able to see the Changing of the Guard as well as the Kennedy section and much more. She told us so many interesting facts and stories not only about Arlington but about DC as well. It was great!!

We had a fantastic experience at Arlington National Cemetery thanks to our tour guide, Reid. The meeting instructions were clear and easy to follow, and our group quickly felt comfortable with one another. Reid, a Navy veteran, brought a unique perspective that made the tour especially meaningful. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and shared so much insight about the history and significance of the cemetery. It was a brisk but sunny day, and the whole experience was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this tour—especially if you get Reid as your guide!

Jim is a fantastic guide through this beautiful cemetery and spoke with such love and tenderness about this location you can feel throughout the tour. He had so much information to share I didn’t want the tour to end, truthfully I could listen to him speak all day if he felt up to it.
Deena_W, Mar 2026
There’s a lot of walking on this tour but it was worth every step. Jim was our guide and he was very knowledgeable not only about Arlington but the areas as well. We highly recommend this tour.
