In the morning, meet your guide and the rest of the tour group at the US Navy Memorial Plaza.
From the comfort of an air-conditioned coach (upgrade to travel by glass-topped bus), drive past the White House, the many Smithsonian museums, the National Mall, and much more. Your guide will share comprehensive narration along the way, with frequent photo-op stops at the city's historic and iconic landmarks.
You can also experience guided walks around sights such as the US Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial, the World War II Memorial, and the Korean War Veterans Memorial. Along the way, learn the history of these famous monuments, and examine them up close.
This tour also features a scenic, seasonal boat cruise along the Potomac River (from April through September). At other times of year, head to The Pentagon City. Either way, enjoy a lunch stop (own expense).
The tour concludes back at the original departure point.

- Due to time restrictions, you cannot go inside any of the monuments, however you can spend about 15-20 minutes at each stop to enjoy up-close views
- No food allowed on buses (snacks are fine!)
- The boat cruise is seasonal from Apr 1 to Sep 30
- Convertible buses switch from open-tops to glass-tops between October and March due to colder temperatures
- If you're driving, there is street parking and garages available near the meeting location, including directly under the Navy Memorial meeting location.

Great tour with Derek and Kareem. This trip saves on walking and hits all the major sites in the National Mall. Boat ride was a bit chilly but really cool way to see the city. Derek was very knowledgeable and shared some interesting facts we wouldnt have gotten without the tour. Highly recommend.

You don't get much time at each monument. We felt very rushed. You could only hear the tour guide information if you were lucky to be right beside her. There were about 36 of us on the bus, so we missed most of the information.

My family and I booked this tour for last week and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! All of us would highly recommend, especially for those from out of state and don't know where to start.
Brittany and Cortez were absolutely incredible during this experience. I cannot recommend both of them enough! Brittany was extremely knowledgeable, charismatic, and hilarious. I learned quite a bit about DC that I did not know before AND I had a great time doing it.
As someone who had never been to DC before, this tour allowed me to hit the highlights and feel like I had truly experienced this beautiful city. (There was also ample time at each location to both explore and buy souvenirs for those interested!)
Another bonus was the bus! I had actually twisted and/or sprained my ankle the day before the tour, so I was having some difficulty walking around. Had I not been able to experience DC in this way, I would have had trouble moving around and finding everything. Although there is still a decent amount of walking, this tour provides targeted locations/monuments and gives respite between all of the major ones for those who cannot walk quite as much for any reason.
Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn't say I truly appreciated them as people. Traffic from our hotel was not great that morning, but Brittany and Cortez were willing to wait for my family and I. They definitely could have left and it would have been our fault, but their understanding of the situation made them stand out even more as quality humans. Worth every penny in my opinion!

Will & Tonya were GREAT! They showed us all of DC’s main attractions in spite of the horrific traffic jams caused from the kite and cherry blossom festivals, and the obnoxious, traitorous “no kings” protesters.

The One Day in DC tour on Tuesday, March 24,2026, was fantastic! Our driver was great and our tour guide, Brittany told us so much interesting information about each site. She acted like she really loved her job!!!There was enough time at each stop to get a good look around. Plenty of bathroom breaks and a nice 90 minute stop for lunch, highly recommend!!!

Fantastic. Our driver Leah and guide Rocky were superb. They are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of DC and our nation’s history and they do it with humor. Leah’s ability to navigate is awesome. This was our most expensive tour and well worth the cost. For anyone with limited ability to walk long distances throughout a day THIS is for you! My wife and I have become "foodies" since retiirement. We look foraward to visting different locations, and sampling the local cuisine. Secret Food Tours (Washington DC) proved to be another delightful adventure, on a beautiful spring day. Cooper, our knowledgable guide, etertained and informed us about historical Georgetown tidbits. The highlight (of course), were the food samplings, as wide and diverse as the people that populate this unique suburb of DC. This is a bus, not a van as I was told via chat. Not really geared toward kids under 10. Yes, they can ride around on a bus and see the monuments, but commentary is at an adult level.

The tour takes you to a few interesting places but is somewhat disorganized and amateurish. It is definitely NOT worth paying for the longer tour, they stop for lunch which pay for yourself and then see one location after lunch. That location is near the earlier sites visited so they could have just tacked it on to the first part of the tour and saved everyone 2 hours time, an hour buying one’s own lunch and an hour in traffic.

This is a great tour for those who have been to DC previously. A snapshot of each location to fill in the blanks. Nick, the tour guide is knowledgeable on a variety of topics. I would recommend the tour on the convertible, glass top bus.

We loved this tour! We (two adults and two teenage boys) only had one day to spend in Washington DC and this 6 hour tour was perfect! It hit all the major sites that would have been impossible for us to do on our own and try to find parking. Our tour guide was Nick. He was super knowledgeable and so much fun! Leah was our bus driver who kept us safe and could maneuver that large bus like no other! While there was a lot of walking involved on the off and on bus tour, it didn’t feel like it. Having the small breaks on the bus between sites was just enough to break up all the walking. If you needed a longer break, you could stay on the bus and wait for everyone to get back. The bus was a great size, had comfortable seats, had receptacles for charging your phones if needed and the windows were large so you could see out really well. We highly recommend this tour company and this specific tour. You won’t be disappointed!

Visited most national monuments, adequate time at each. Sam was a fantastic guide! A wealth of knowledge with lots of little known facts. Bus was comfortable with a great driver, Kholife. Highly recommend
