Great views! We went in for the tour at 11, and the sign outside the door said all tickets for the day had been issued. Getting tickets early was the right move!

the tickets that we originally purchased from your site were not accepted. after acquiring new tickets the experience was wonderful, i would recommend the experience to anyone, but would not buy tickets from your site again.

This was a wonderful experience that wouldn’t have been possible without purchasing the tickets in advance. On site tickets sell out so quickly. The whole process was smooth and the customer service was excellent (they texted the tickets when available). When the monument closed early they even checked in to make sure we weren’t affected (which we weren’t). 100% recommend!

It was way easier to secure tickets using Viator than going through the parks website directly. When the tour location changed thier hours unexpectedly, viatour moved our tickets without us lifting a finger. That made it stress free.

That the NPS does not accept this as a “real” ticket. However they will accept it. I asked why and a ranger told me that Viator buys a bunch of tickets and resells them for a profit. Sounds like the American way to me. I paid $25 for a ticket that I wouldn’t be able to get from the NPS.

We requested 4 pm, the day before our reservation we were told that only 3 pm was available because - they said -NPS was closing it early. That turned out not to be true - NPS was still doing tours through 4 pm. But the tickets were valid on time - we were in line a little before 3 and not an issue. BUT we never got any guidebook -

The National Parks Service sets the schedule, so any closures and subsequent decisions to open are outside our control, but we're happy to help you in those (rare) situations. As far as my experience, we did receive the tickets and the directions were clear and concise. No wait means that you are guaranteed a ticket into the Monument as these tickets are extemely hard to get. There is a line for security that everyone has to go through and so we actually got in at about 11:15 am, our reservations were for 11 am. We didn't mind the wait as safety is paramount. I removed one star because the seller advertised a “guidebook,” which made it seem like I would be receiving a physical book or printed material. Instead, it turned out to be only an electronic file. The description should have clearly stated that it was a digital product. I was disappointed by the lack of clarity so be aware before purchasing if you want a book as a souvenir as that is not what you will be getting.

This is a great option when recreation.gov tickets are not available. The views from the top of the Washington Monument are beautiful. Definitely worth your time!

The monument was great! Very interesting! Just felt calling it “front of the line” was not fully accurate since we just got in line with all the other people for the 4 o’clock tour.
