Great experience...even though you can get tickets free, it was worth paying for knowing that you were guaranteed the experience!
There is no guide book but the experience was amazing! I highly recommend you do this at least once!

We had a really cool experience looking down at the White House. We watched Trump’s motorcade take him to the helicopter the watched as they took off.

Yes, you’re paying for convenience and improved odds. But I’ve had very poor luck getting day prior Washington Monument tickets and 1 for 1 with Viator. Took all the guesswork out.

Good idea to buy tickets online ahead of time! Ride a scooter or mobile device to The Mall and up the hill to the monument but leave it outside the fenced in area.
Super convenient entry to the Washington Monument. Just showed my ticket and was able to go up right away - no crowds, plenty of space and time to enjoy the views and exhibits!
So surprised that it has an elevator.. super nice staff!! Thank you for my once in a lifetime experience!!!!
The elevator ride is 500 feet but goes by quickly! Amazing views from up top and very cool to be in that structure!
The experience itself was great. The Rangers at the security pulled us aside and said tickets are only $1, and they are disappointed websites like Viator sells for $25. There is no skip the line, Only if you bought a ticket in person, then you don’t stand in line for the purchase. Misleading advertising.

Hi, As part of our concierge service, we provide timed entry tickets to take the hassle out of ticketing as well as provide a guidebook. In terms of skipping lines, there is a brief security line as this is a Federal site as folks are put through the metal detector, but it is normally brief.

Great views and well organized. We appreciated this service to get tickets as we had missed the initial release of tickets by the park service. Grandkids and grandparents enjoyed going to the top of the Washington Monument-lots of fun!

The actual ticket doesn’t arrive in your email or via text until the day before your admission date but you get plenty of notices of confirmation from Viator.…purchasing the ticket thru Viator was so much easier than trying to get them thru the government website, plus who has time to go the morning of and stand in line in hopes of getting a ticket??? After numerous failed attempts trying to use the government site, Viator came through with much less stress. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful views of DC and monuments. History of the building of the monument is interesting. Must do!
Make sure there is nothing going on in the city before you book because Viator failed to let us know that there was a Grand Prix Race in Washington DC and our tours were canceled when we arrived to start them on the days they were booked

Order your tickets online or you need to wake up early in the morning the day before your visit. Well worth the time.

The Washington Monument is a must-see attraction in Washington, D.C. Its impressive architecture and historical significance make it one of the city's most memorable landmarks. The panoramic views from the observation level are outstanding and provide a unique perspective of the National Mall and surrounding areas. An excellent experience for visitors of all ages.
This was a perfect addition to our spur of the moment trip to Washington DC. We decided to go last minute and missed the official tickets released. Purchased the tickets a few days before and they came straight to my phone. Was able to get in early to the monument too.
Straight-forward and easy experience. Tkts arrive the day before after 3pm. Great views. Meeting place is at entrance to the monument.
If not having to sweat for daily tickets is your thing. It's worth the cost of a ticket. Buying the no charge + service fee is next to impossible.
If you need a specific date and a favorable timed entry. Choose this option and pay for it.
I’m not sure if we could have done this cheaper by reserving tickets through the government but it was wonderful to have a no-wait time and get up into the monument!! What an experience!
It was an amazing experience with Viator. Just remember that they email you exactly 24 hours before the event to make sure you don’t lose your ticket information. It is a safety precaution and they are very accurate about the ticket information. I would use them again. This saves time.
I appreciated being able to get a verified ticket on short notice. However, the link to the ticket did not work. The issue was resolved after I reached out to Viator. And, this purchase referred to a ticket and Guidebook. I did not receive a Guidebook. But the view from the top of the monument was spectacular.

These tickets should be free! The park service gives them out free, it’s just impossible to get them the second they come out.

So easy! So cool! No fuss at the door and easy to retrieve tickets from email they sent. Such a great experience.
Easy, no rush trip up 70 seconds to the top. Great views and interesting information. Good we got tickets in advance as they were sold out by 10:00.
