We were excited to go on...
We were excited to go on the kayak bat tour. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had alternate plans and we were unable to go. Due to our schedule, we were also unable to reschedule. That being said, Nathan was wonderful to work with! Even though we didn't get to go on our tour, I would highly recommend the Boats and Bats kayak tour!

Amazing and relaxing lake tour
We had a wonderful lake tour experience! The scenery was beautiful, and the captain was friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. We enjoyed learning about the area while relaxing on the water. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the entire tour was well organized. It was the perfect way to spend an hour enjoying Austin's natural beauty. Highly recommend this tour to visitors and locals looking for a fun and relaxing outing.

Captain Chris was awesome!
We had a great experience with Captain Chris on our Austin boat tour! He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the area. Throughout the tour, he shared interesting information about the sights and made the experience enjoyable for everyone on board. One thing we really appreciated was that he slowed down at key points along the route so we could take pictures and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. His attention to the guests and willingness to make the tour memorable did not go unnoticed. Based on our experience, I would absolutely book another boat ride with Captain Chris and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing time on the water in Austin.

Double Decker Tours is informative, fun, and if you can sit on top!!
The Austin visitor center is located near a public parking, which is free on Saturdays across from Frost Bank parking. The center is very welcoming. It has a gift shop and very nice staff clean bathrooms while you wait for the bus. The bus left on time at 10 o’clock. The weather was cloudy so we decided to on top, we were offered a water. The staff on the bus were very nice and our guide was extremely knowledgeable.. The guide was concise with his information, told funny stories, and also very interesting stories about the well-known buildings and statues and oil, rigs and etc. stories about people pertaining to the Neighborhoods we were traveling through at the time. Our guide was funny, spoke clearly and used good grammar(!) It was very well done, entertaining, informative. Plus full of recommendations for visiting well-known sites, such as Lady Bird, Johnson, wild flowerPark , music venues, Barton springs, the Capital, and good recommendations on barbecue restaurants and Mexican restaurants, etc. The 90 minutes tour bus was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. Many thanks!

Austin tours allow you to explore all the wild, wonderful, and delicious aspects of a city that has staked its reputation on live music and incredible barbecue with a side of strange. There are several fun and active ways to explore the capitol—Segway, bike, double-decker bus, or even a BYOB boat tour, timed to see the famed Congress Avenue Bridge bats. And if you can’t BYO, opt for a day trip to Texas wine country. No matter what you choose, just remember to keep it weird.
