100% recommend!
This was a wonderful experience that wouldn’t have been possible without purchasing the tickets in advance. On site tickets sell out so quickly. The whole process was smooth and the customer service was excellent (they texted the tickets when available). When the monument closed early they even checked in to make sure we weren’t affected (which we weren’t). 100% recommend!

Best tour we booked!!!
Ken was a Fantastic guide! He had tons of interesting facts about the city! Things we had not heard in other tours! When a storm blew up, he took charge and said we’re going to pivot, and he took us to see a monument that we did not have to get out of the van for! There were only 12 people on the bus as advertised! The monuments were beautiful at night and well worth seeing!!! Thanks Ken for a great tour!!!

Christina is Exceptional!!
Christina was exceptional. She had a large group of us and effortlessly managed to get us all where we were supposed to go on time. She knows the museums inside and out so nothing felt scripted. We had some children on the tour and she handled their energy and questions beautifully. We saw all of the highlights of the 3 museums.

DC fun
Our private tour of Washington DC was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we started, everything was organized, informative, and so much fun. Seeing the monuments and memorials lit up while learning the history behind each stop made the experience unforgettable. Our tour guide, Maaz, was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and truly passionate about DC and its history. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, answered every question we had, and even shared hidden gems and interesting facts we would have never known otherwise. His energy and personality made the tour engaging from start to finish. If you’re looking for the perfect way to experience Washington DC, I cannot recommend this private tour — and especially Maaz — enough. This was a 5-star experience all around, and we’ll be talking about it for a long time!

Not seeing something you are looking for?

You can’t visit the US capital without immediately thinking about the country’s history—there is a museum and monument around every corner, after all. While you can Smithsonian-hop on your own, Washington DC historical tours add both structure and depth to your journey of knowledge. Let knowledgeable guides whisk you past iconic sights like the White House and Capitol Hill, or skip the lines to enter the hallowed halls of the Library of Congress. No matter which tour you choose, you’ll definitely leave with a lot more factoids than when you started.
