It was a wonderful experience. The Lincoln memorial was especially pretty at night. Our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable.

Ensure you are at meeting point early to get a forward view seat. Some have a rear view seat and this affects the overall experience

Thank you for the feedback. Our carts do have both forward-facing and rear-facing seats as part of the standard seating layout. We understand everyone has a different preference, although some guests actually enjoy the rear seats because they offer a wider view while driving through the city. Arriving a little early can definitely help if you have a preferred seat. We appreciate you joining us!
Worst experience. Pouring rain couldn’t see anything. Dangerous sitting on back. Got off waste of $$

We’re sorry the weather affected your experience, but we do want to clarify that we do not operate during heavy rain, lightning, or unsafe weather conditions. We operate in light rain, and our carts are equipped with rain covers. Unfortunately, weather can change quickly and is outside of our control. The rear-facing seat is also part of the vehicle’s standard approved seating configuration and is designed for passenger use. We always put safety first, and we’re sorry the weather made the tour less enjoyable for you.
We’re so pleased we did it and got to see all the major monuments with very few people around us.
The trip is great as some sites you need to just see but would be a long walk and busy at other times.
We’ve come away with some great photos!!

Our guide was very courteous, knowledgeable, and fun; unfortunately, he also had an accident that presented a problem to several seniors in our group. The other downside was three of our five members sat in the last seat facing backwards. This was very unsatisfactory as saying look to the left, look to the right, etc. was always wrong and always late. If I take this tour again, I will insist that none of my group will be in the last seat and that we have a native speaker.

Comfortable and relaxing. Time to see monuments and take pictures. Never felt rushed and gave a nice little taste of the sights. The tour guide has lots of interesting information to share. I appreciated not having to deal with transportation myself. Consider mosquito spray if it’s the right time of year for it.

You see many of the monuments- but not ALL…
We really enjoyed our tour- and our guide was excellent!
It was a fun way to “travel about.”
But assumed we would be seeing all of the monuments- and a young friend with us has never been to DC. So…I was a little disappointed to miss the WW2, Vietnam wall, Korean War monuments… and we’ll have to figure out a way to see those still while we’re on this trip.

Our itinerary does list the WWII, Vietnam Veterans, and Korean War Memorials as pass-by sights rather than scheduled stops. During the 2-hour tour, we do stop at many major monuments while also driving by several others so guests can see as much of DC as possible. We appreciate you joining us and hope you’re able to visit those memorials during the rest of your trip!
There is a fair amount of walking stairs, our son is handicapped, and it would have been help to know there were walking and climbing portions.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did an awesome job but the cart was over crowded. My friend was hanging over the side because they tried putting three adults in one row. Finally our guide asked if someone wanted to ride in the cart that was following us and my husband volunteered to make it more comfortable. I didn’t like that our group had to split up.

Touring the monuments with a knowledgeable guide is the way to go. Fernando is an excellent guide. We enjoyed our experience and so glad we did not have to walk it.
